Each time I visit this restaurant, I notice a couple of homeless individuals at nearby tables. I usually come here with my children, and it's not always clear if tables are thoroughly cleaned between guests, as we often end up wiping them down ourselves. Given these experiences, I'm not sure it's the best option for dining--at least here in Atlanta. When I needed to feed my 6-month-old son, I was able to warm his bottle in the microwave, which was very convenient. I then went to the mother-and-baby room to feed him, but it was the dirtiest one I've ever seen at IKEA, despite visiting around five stores worldwide. It seemed as though it hadn't been cleaned for weeks, and there was no cleaning schedule posted on the door. It's disappointing, especially since this room is for the youngest customers. Spending 20 minutes in such an unclean space was unpleasant for both me and my children."

The IKEA food court is always a place you want to stop by whenever you're at IKEA buying/shopping for furniture. It's something that you never really crave but enjoy whenever you have it. Moving back to ATL -- I needed to do some furniture shopping and we stopped by the food court to grab some food. I went on Memorial Day and the place was pretty busy, and the food court had a line. Nevertheless, it didn't take too long. I got the meatball combo with corn & mashed potatoes and I also got a size of mac&cheese (only $1.99)! My friend also got some chocolate cake that I do not remember the name of. The meatballs are always solid. It's a nice flavor that you can never go wrong with, and it's not too heavy either. The mashed potatoes were also pretty good, though I wasn't the biggest fan of the corn/veggies. Also -- make sure to get the lingonberry jam where the condiments are. Absolutely fire. Prices at the food court are also affordable which makes it appealing. There is nothing really extraordinarily special about the IKEA food court but you'll never leave dissastisfied and I think that's the true charm. There's plenty of seating so make sure to stop by the food court on your next trip to IKEA!

Had a Swedish Salad with raw salmon a d potato salad, pear juice, princess cake

Had a Swedish salad with raw salmon on a bead of greens and potato salad with amazing salad dressing. This salad bowl was so fresh and light. It succeeded my expectations. For a drink we had a can of pear juice and for a dessert slice of chocolate cake and yellow princess cake. We have not been to IKEA for lunch in eight months but this again was worth the trip. Because of COVID they practiced social distancing and assigned tables no drink refills on a soda machine, etcetera....I was very comfortable eating there.

This is my third time eating here so take caution. Location near Atlantic station. Good parking, just be cautious of the cars. Folks are serious about those Swedish meatballs, and the madness sometimes starts in the parking lot. My goal was to drop the kiddies in the play area and enjoy my first real meal of the day. Get to the line only to hear the vegetable rolls will be 15 min. Yikes. Well I'm hungry and the lady was pleasant. I wait only to hear their running out of more things. So my suggestion is to time the food better to avoid hangry customers. I wait and wait only to see a customer whose been waiting a shorter amount of time get theirs b4 me. Maybe an oversight but at this point It's neither here nor there. Get my food and start to grub. It was worth it. But this has happened 2 of the 3 times I've eaten here. So ummmm.....

My best discovery since the Dollar Tree! The bistro is primo with $1.75 cheese pizza slices and the crème de la crème $1 cinnamon buns!!!! Upstairs you will find delicious fountain drinks and healthy selections of quality foods and sweet treats! Eat here now!

Chicken meatballs, mixed seasonal veggies, mashed potatoes with gravy and I forget what the red stuff is

Cafeteria style dining experience. I wasn't expecting to be blown away, but I was hoping it was somewhat subpar. This restaurant is on the second level of IKEA! I get the concept but all of the wraps, and salads looked really out of date. Everything is in a cooler uncovered and you grab and pay. They have hot foods but the only options were Swedish meatballs, chicken meatballs, veggies and mashed potatoes. I got the chicken meatballs, with mash n gravy and mixed veggies ($8). The chicken meatballs were so dry and the mixed veggies were mixed with mashed sweet potatoes???? Not very tasty at all! I only at the mashed potatoes. If you're looking for dinning options after a shopping experience, just walk over to Atlantic Station

Happy MLK Day, Who ever is working with IKEA in customer service is no doing their job in a timely manner. I, Bonnie Dale Johnson, placed an order for pickup. Didn't want to pickup, but I had no choice. I received an email stating my scheduled pickup time to be 01/15/2021 from 9:00am-9:00pm. As you can see in my attachment, I received your email on Friday, January 15, 2021 9:51pm. Impossible for me to achieve. I gave up trying to talk with anyone at IKEA, to reschedule my pickup. But what's more unbelievable, IKEA customer service has now canceled my order completely. It's my birthday today, my family, and I are meeting tonight for dinner, I'm doing a gift baskets for them, and wanted to include the candles. Well I can cancel that. Happy Birthday to me. Nevertheless, will share my IKEA Customer Service experience social media later today. Bonnie Dale Johnson Owner of RM2D

a coffee machine on a conveyor belt

Very polite server, descent food quality, and value. 3 stars because nearly every time we come here, the soda machine is not working properly, and since I don't drink sodas but paid for for the fruit flavored drinks dispensed by the soda machine this time only the Coke was working and very heavy syrup.

OMG the food was awesome, not what I was expecting. The Swedish meat balls were to die for, sweet cornbread like my grandmother made.

This food did not sit under a hot plate for hours. It was freshly prepared and even had a polite sprinkling of parsley for flair. Unique vibe thats neither too much or not enough. Honestly, perfect for a chill late morning breakfast in the city. We love predictability when hunger strikes, so I'll be back. A little pricey for breakfast + coffee at $30, super awkward tip request, but not so bad that I would deduct points. That said, the aesthetic feels less Buckingham Palace and more whimsical London antique shop -- charming & eclectic. I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha and a breakfast plate. The menu names were definitely on brand, but not quite catchy enough for me to remember them later. Both were solid, though, and hit the spot. Service was a highlight. The cashier really leaned into the accent and took the time to thoroughly explain the menu, which made the whole experience feel more immersive and welcoming. Parking was easy on an early weekday afternoon -- always a win. The space works well for small parties, but be prepared: tables are small and seating is close together. One tip: avoid sitting upstairs in Eden. It's noticeably warmer than the rest of the restaurant, and you'll likely leave smelling like breakfast. Overall, a fun, themed spot with great service. But I don't think I'll be back.

Super cute and yummy coffee shop…read more I came here on a Friday morning around 10a.m. It was active inside with about 3 people ahead of me but the line moves quick. There's a steady traffic of people going in and out. The staff are welcoming and pleasant. I got an iced honey lavender latte with oat milk and slice of the pistachio cardamom cake. The latte was ok but the cake was phenomenal. The latte had a decent flavor but it wasn't strong. Plus it tasted very grainy and milk-heavy, overpowering the coffee. My slice of cake was so moist and delicious without being too sweet. It was perfect. I'd definitely come back again more so for the desserts than the coffee. I sat at the counter cuz I was flying solo and had nice conversations with those next to me. The way the entire building is decorated is completely eye candy and as satisfying as the food. If you like crazy loopy, different kind of stuff. There's a specific coffee shop and small gift shop in the back with social & environmental conscious products. Even have a film development drop off that I guess locals take advantage of cuz where do you go for that anymore other than some kind of chain pharmacy?. I took pictures for my posting but also for myself to consider coming back and shopping another time. Several of the magnets and signs I would love to own. The food is plentiful and flavorful. I had the daily special of Georgia fresh shrimp sauteed on top of homemade sourdough that had a little bit of a French toast crispy to it, topped with roasted tomatoes and spinach and thin crispy onions that were well seasoned. Most the time for lunch you just hope for something that taste good and this was beyond my wildest dreams of what I was going to eat for lunch today. And it was only $10. The burgers, the fried chicken, the fried shrimp, everything was looking so yummy. I totally have to come back. The place is much bigger than it looks from the front because it extends around the corner behind the counter and they greet you when you come in.

A southern breakfast in every sense of the word!…read more I attended homegrown with a group of friends during a quick trip to Atlanta after a solid night out. I don't think we knew what we were getting ourselves into, but I'm glad we made the decision to come here. Homegrown provides great food and coffee with indoor and outdoor seating great art and a "cozy" (read: crowded) feel. Food: 5/5 The food here was amazing. I just got the standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice but those around me had other meals like scrambles and omelettes that smelled amazing. I'm also a big fan of grits was able to taste some from my friend's plate. Service: 4/5 In terms of the food service, our server was extremely nice, but a couple of people in my party had things wrong with their order. We did have a large group though, so I won't put too much stock into that. Ambience: 4/5 When I say this place is crowded, I mean this place is crowded. I won't hold that against them, it's really a testament to how popular their restaurant is with that said, I really do wish they had more seating available. We went during the tail end of the summer, so it was extremely hot outside and eating breakfast out. The wait for a table was well over 30 minutes, so there was no way we were going to also eat our food outside. It was just not feasible without heat stroke. For context we live in the Pacific Northwest. What made up for this was the coffee shop that was connected to the building in the back that served amazing iced coffee to cool us down. Conclusion All in all, I give this place a solid, 4 out of 5 would recommend. Just be prepared to wait if you have more than three people in your party, and try to come early :-)
