Egg and cheese on an onion bagel
Kimberly G.

Ike's is my go-to bagel spot in the area. Their bagels are always fresh, soft and taste great. I love their sesame and everything bagels, but my favorite thing to order is their bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a roll. The bacon is crispy, the egg isn't runny and the roll is always fresh and soft. The service is always quick and friendly. I always choose Ike's when I am in the mood for a delicious breakfast.

Solid bagels and sandwiches. Staff is very nice as well. Great stop when grabbing groceries at the Aldi in the same parking lot

I needed to stop in this shopping center at lunch today, so it was a perfect time to visit Ike's. It had been a few years since I was last here so I wanted to see if much changed. It really hasn't, it was decent then and still is. I went for an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese. The amount of cream cheese was more than generous and was very good. I also got a cup of self serve coffee with it. Plenty of seating and easy parking. Lots of bagel choices in the area. I found Ike's middle of the road. No complaints, but not my favorite.

Just had the "Hurricane Force" breakfast sandwich. LOVED IT! I consider it a classic Jersey breakfast sandwich that was made deliciously. A+

The Hungry Man (~$7) + avocado (~$1).

Ordered: The Hungry Man (~$7): 2 eggs with roast beef, cheese, and a hash brown on a roll (scooped out) and added avocado (~$1) Aya's take: It legitimately does not get better than this. This specialty breakfast sandwich is one I think about often. First things first, I asked for the roll to be scooped out from the inside and that made it so much better, in my opinion. The layers of flavors and textures from the eggs to the cheese to the roast beef to the hash brown. So much depth. It was delicious and beyond satisfying! I will be back.

Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich

Looking for a quick bite around 1:30pm, my 3 year old toddler is a picky eater but would eat breakfast food. It was pretty empty when I walked in but it is also a breakfast place that closes at 3pm. I ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich, it only took them a few minutes to make. I thought it was pretty good and my toddler ate half of the sandwich which means he really likes it. There is a wide selection on the menu and chips and snacks. They also have fresh squeezed Orange juice. There were a few tables there if you want to dine in. I'll definitely go back to try other items in the menu and their bagel.

Listennnnnn.... You CANT go anywhere to get the best bagels besides NYC, in my opinion, but this place right here!!!!!......SOLID! Came here on a whim while I visited another place in this little mini mall in Livingston, pass by here all the time and never stop in, shame on me haha! Been missing THE BEST bagels I have tasted so far from Jerz. There might be many other places out there, but trust me when I tell you that this place is very close to being NY bagel fabulous, and that's saying a lot! I had tried toasted everything bagels, onion and garlic and seriously, I can't stop thinking about them lol, perfect chew, soft in middle and crispy outside! Tried some spreads, a cranberry walnut, bacon horseradish and sundries tomato, all delicious! The employees were so friendly and on point! And You know I'm "extra" right?!! So you know I had to try something else, the fruit and veggies smoothie! I don't remember what was all in it, like 10 ingredients, and soooooo tasty! I'm coming back here, seriously this is another one to put on my go-to list!

Sesame seed bagel with vegetable cream cheese

I went here earlier today to get a bagel, it was my first time trying Ike's. I usually don't pass that direction but I saw a sign for it in the shoppes at the Livingston circle and my normal bagel place was out of the way from where I was coming. I went simple for my order and just got a sesame seed bagel with vegetable cream cheese, not toasted (pictured). It was four dollars and some change because it was a speciality cream cheese but the bagel was a good size and the vegetable cream cheese had nice chunks of vegetables spread throughout. It is one of the better bagels I've had near me and I was very happy with my choice to try it! I will definitely go back when I'm in the area! And maybe I'll be more adventurous and get something more complex than cream cheese!

Hungry man sandwich whole

Was in the neighborhood and decided to try Ike's Bagel Cafe. Located in a shopping center on Eisenhower Parkway with plenty of parking spots available. Everyone is masked and behind plexiglass. Nice selection of bagels and friendly service. Note $10 minimum on credit cards. I ordered the Hungry Man which is two eggs, toast beef, cheese, and hash browns on a roll. I substituted a whole wheat everything bagel instead of a roll. Took it home and it was still hot. This sandwich was fantastic. I've always wondered why no one served roast beef in a breakfast sando. Well my desire has come true and Ike's delivered. The roast beef was cooked well and not overdone and meshed beautifully with the eggs, cheese, and hash browns. The hash browns were not too greasy and added a bit of crunch to a delectable sandwich. Highly recommend and I will be coming back to sample more of their food for sure. A little of the beaten path for me but so worth it.

The bagel had no flavor. A bagel with bacon egg cheese and blueberry bagel was $12. We won't be back, sadly.

It's always so busy whenever I drive past that I chicken out braving the private parking lot in the back and the ordering queue inside. But today, I learned that it's all worth it because, true to their reputation, they have very good bagels here! Plus, the people working there are nice! I give a 5 star just for my everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers, onion, and tomato. It had all the right proportions of spread and toppings for a very good lox bagel sandwich. My hubs bagel was a cinnamon raison with butter. Their bagels are fluffy and chewy, so I would opt to keep it untoasted (my preference). While there's Starbucks nearby in the same building, next time I'll try the coffee from Bagel Nosh. They also had an assortment of Tropicana orange and fruit juices. The coffee dispensers and drink cold case are to the right when you enter. New Visitor Note: When you enter, head to the right to place orders. The portion was super generous: a big, soft bagel with a thick layer of cream cheese that didn't skimp at all. That said, it didn't come out toasted like I requested, which was a bit disappointing, but not a dealbreaker since they were very busy. Everything else was solid! The staff were friendly and the overall experience was pleasant. Just a heads up, there's a 4% fee when paying by credit card.

This is a unique 5 star restaurant that is worthy of a visit by Guy Fieri if he is still doing road trips for "Diners , Drive Ins and Dives". All I can say is you have to try them. It's worth the drive! They put a different spin on everything they serve. When you walk in, you may think it's a local deli that you go for a take out breakfast or lunch. Then you see the tables and all the customers sitting there. They have everything you could want from coffee, teas, juices, smoothies, sandwiches paninis, poke bowls, pancakes, waffles, breakfast and lunch dishes. You can tell that they have a ton of regular customers, that are very loyal. They also do catering, and even though I live in Brooklyn, they are willing to deliver to me. Today I met some amazing people at the restaurant. Congratulations to Carlos who is a new manager. He is a US Army Veteran who saw combat action and I hope everyone will thank him for his service when they visit. Carlos really cares about his customers. When we entered we were greeted, he started up a conversation and checked in on us throughout our meal. Victor was our server and he made great recommendations. He was also very friendly, we also met Melvin who was a runner and made sure the food came out promptly with all the accoutrements. Today we started with the blueberry pancakes. You get two large pancakes that are as big as the dish. They had blueberries inside and outside, whipped cream and maple syrup. Probably the best I've ever had! I had the apple, lemon, ginger juice which hit the spot. We also had the tuna poke bowl and the shrimp fajita bowl. The ingredients and fish were fresh and plentiful. I was stuffed by the time we left. I would highly recommend Seymour's Cafe if you want to experience phenomenal food and customer service.
