I first tried stopping in at Super Duper Bagels a few weeks ago, but they were closed for Passover. This afternoon, I had the chance to return. This is a small shop, all takeout. There's a large selection of bagels and other baked goods. The woman working there told me that everything is baked fresh daily. The muffins looked really delicious. I ordered a plain bagel with vegetable cream cheese. Both the bagel and cream cheese were very good. Prices seemed a little high, but the quality was also high. I was concerned about parking since the lot is busy, but there are spaces reserved for the bagel store. A good bagel store that I'll give a thumbs up to! read more

Amazing bagels! Terrific portions and the food is phenomenal! Used them for my son's bar mitzvah and they did not dissappoint.

Love super duper bagels, but hadn't been here since before COVID. Easily placed an order for pick up, but on arrival it wasn't even close to being ready. Guess next time, I'll just order and wait as it would have been faster. As for the bagels, I just love them. Not super-sized, but manageable...crispy on outside. The awesome thing is that they have whole wheat and multigrain everything bagels, as opposed to boring plain everything ones...their sweet bagels are also delish. Hand sliced nova is TO DIE FOR!!! It's funny, because the Yelp pre-suggested intro for a review is "doesn't look like much when you walk past," and boy oh boy is that ever true! A portion of the sign was missing and from the outside it looked like a very run down, not cared for place. But the reviews were strong and I trust Yelpers, so I headed in. (Plus I'd already called in my order!) I'd called ahead to order a dozen bagels, two cream cheeses, and 4 bagel sandwiches (lox + the works). Everything was delicious and tasty! That said, I found the prices for the sandwiches way more than I expected -- my total for the order was over $80; I think the sandwiches were $12 each! If I ordered again, I'd stick to straight bagels + spreads. Also: I found this place in part because I searched for kosher places, but I was a little worried because I'm not Orthodox and am not always super knowledgeable about what will "pass" as OK with those more observant than me. The store states online that they're under the supervision of the Va'ad of the Metrowest, and I was delighted that my pretty strict Orthodox relatives were instantly satisfied by this. read more

I haven't been here in a while and I feel like their prices went up and portions went down. Ordered tuna salad on a bagel and surprised it was almost $10. Picked up the bag and it was super light in weight, opened to find the thinnest layer of tuna I have ever seen from a deli or bagel place. Not worth $10. The bagels here aren't quite super so maybe they are just duper? Pros: easy parking in lot out front, decent selection of bagels and cream cheese, surprisingly good hot coffee. Cons: the bagels really leave a lot to be desired. Small. Dry. Not great flavor. Lots of room for improvement. The man behind the counter was quite friendly. I understand this is an old school, traditional bagel spot. They don't carry any meats (i.e. TH or bacon). The bagel I had was just average - by the reviews I expected it to wow me! It did not. I hear the lox is outstanding here. Unfortunately I'm not into that. Just not my cup of tea. If it's yours, give it a shot. One and done for this spot. It's a little hard to find with the signage, but it's amazing! They had delicious bagels and everything tasted really good. They did not have any meat, which I see a lot of people complained about, but it seems to be a kosher business. Doesn't bother me, if anything it's even more authentic when looking for a traditional Jewish bagel. They had a lot of speciality cream cheese options which was very cool and gave their menu more variety. They did have fish and lots of other options, I didn't even miss the meat! If your vegetarian and worried about cross contamination or don't like supporting meat businesses; this place is definitely perfect then! I also got a cookie, it was very crunchy and a good snack! I was looking for a good bagel place in the area and decided to give Super Duper Bagels a try. I decided to order a breakfast sandwich. I got an egg and cheese on a poppy seed bagel. Unfortunately there is no meat to be had on the sandwiches, which is disappointing. The other drawback to the sandwich was the price. It was $6.50 with no meat. That seems quite a bit high, considering I usually pay four to five dollars for a bacon egg and cheese. The sandwich itself was good. The cheese was nice and melted and the bagel was perfectly toasted, but not worth $6.50. I also ordered a couple of bagels to go. Those were priced reasonably at $1 each. We ordered platters for our mom's 90th birthday. Everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious. The Israeli salad was expertly prepared with dressing on the side so it didn't get soggy. The fruit salad was the best I've tasted: fresh, sweet with no additives. Our rabbi declared the bagels the best he's had! Just make sure that the invoice is correct and itemized. read more

There is definitely nothing super or duper here. Perhaps "subpar" at best. The person making my bagel messed up my order twice and I was the only one other person in line! And I noticed they only put some spread on one half of the bagel and cover the other plain. ( when you open it to eat, one side obviously remains plain) The bagel didn't taste good either. Very dry wierd texture compared to other bagel shops. All the onion and garlic bagels looked like the toppings got charred in the display baskets. By far the best bagel shop in town. The bagels are crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Each bite is light and packed with flavor. Certainly an extra treat if you are lucky enough to catch a new batch of bagels coming out... I've had many combinations of bagels and spreads. My favorite is the whole wheat multigrain everything bagel. I personally love the chive cream cheese. If you are looking for something a little wild, I would suggest a blueberry bagel with chive cream cheese - it's a nice unexpected sweet & salty combination. I'm only sorry this bagel place is not in Denver where I now live. I was visiting family and needed bagels. This is one of the few spots I can still remember how to get to without pulling up a map app on my phone. Donning my PJ's with a coat I fit in with everyone else there Sunday morning. I got 6 bagels and couldn't resist eating a hot one while driving back to my sister's house. They also hand slice the lox (though the people cutting aren't all skilled so the paper thin slices you should want are hit and miss). Some nice cream cheeses too. Also had an order of about $40 for a lot of people and they workers couldn't even label the bagels like EVERY other place I know does. So although the bagel is good. Super Duper Bagel (which is owned by Jerusalem Restaurant), is kind of hidden in a shopping center and cannot be seen from the road, but is worth stopping in. The bagels are pretty good, not the best around, but are definitely good quality bagels. The biggest down side of the place is they are cash only, who doesn't take credit cards? The employees here are really nice, and extremely friendly. The place can get crowded and the line moves a big slow, so that can be a bit frustrating if you just want a bagel on the run. For those who like "Rolls with Holes" Stay away from Super Duper Bagel. Their bagels are what they are supposed to be. They are not light and airy with a nothing crust. Incidentally, light, airy and no crust is NOT what a bagel is supposed to be. These are true Boiled Bagels. They are Hearty, dense enough, have a decent outer crust, and not sweet. They are just right! If you don't want a great bagel may I suggest Thomas's Bagels or perhaps Dunkin' Donuts? If that is what you are used to, then don't try Super Duper, you will be disappointed read more

The best bagels anywhere, period. Not heavy, clunky tires. Not bread shaped into a circle. Nice and bageley in the middle, with just a bit of crunch to the outside. I've eaten NY bagels, LI bagels, Baltimore bagels, and others. Not as much fun to visit now that the quirky, cranky founder has sold it. You no longer have to behave properly in order to be served by "the Bagel Nazi." But the recipe stayed, and the bagels are perfect. read more

I go to this place since the bagels taste better than Livingston Bagels and it has a much better atmosphere (i.e. not trying to get your out as fast as possible and not with a salty attitude). The one thing is that they could speed up their service since it can be sometimes painful to wait for just bagels with cream cheese. I ordered a simple sesame bagel with chive spread. It could not have been more delicious. You can see the bagels boiling fresh in the kitchen and the spread tastes homemade fresh. Mighty tasty bagels with expected texture, crusty outside, softer inside but not mushy. The way they should be. Probably the type of place my grandparents got their bagels decades ago in Brooklyn...bagels, spreads, and that's it. It's a bit out of way from where we live so this will sadly never be our regular place, but do not miss if you're passing by and hungry for a bagel.
