Sushi was fresh, buttery, and not overly saucy! The double hamachi roll & ocean roll were delicious. Service was quick & a great place to stop for lunch.

Pretty solid Japanese restaurant and definitely one of the better Japanese restaurants in the area. Their sushi is fresh and the staff are friendly. They offer great lunch special options. One of my go to orders is the sushi with tempura udon lunch special. I typically order from them on DoorDash and it's good every time!

Ikoi Sushi is one of the better sushi spots in Marin that I've tried. We ordered via UberEats and all the rolls that we got were very fresh even though we had it delivered. We ordered 3 rolls: spider, tempura, and dragon. The rolls were nicely packaged in one container. Everything was really good! Wasabi and ginger tasted fresh too. My favorite was the tempura roll and my partner really enjoyed the spider roll. We both, however, thought the eel on the dragon roll was a little too fishy for us. But overall, really enjoyed the sushi and the prices weren't too bad even on Uber Eats. Will definitely be back!

Sashimi Combo + Salmon, Albacore, Escolar Nigiri

Well, it's a good thing that Lou's Takeaway closed early for the night or else we wouldn't have discovered Ikoi Sushi! The honest struggle is finding a good sushi spot in Marin County after being spoiled of having it within arm's reach back home. That being said, Ikoi Sushi is your home away from home. The staff are so friendly, efficient and accommodating. They made room for us when they were busy and were lovely to chat with. My partner's sashimi mini had thick cuts of fish, and his nigiri was no different. While the nigiri menu doesn't have as much variety as other spots, it gets the basics down very well. Everything is very fresh. SABA/MACKEREL: This was a a bit fishy that day and not the best I've had. NEGI HAMA ROLL: Very fresh and thick cut hamachi is balanced by perfectly ripe avocado and a hint of freshness from the scallion. This was my favorite negi hama roll to date. KOI SPECIAL ROLL: The best way to describe this is a Spider Roll and Rainbow Roll had a child called the Koi Special Roll, but topped with crunchy tenkasu tempura crumbs, a mix of your spicy mayo and unagi sauce. This was also a really good roll! TORCHED HOTATE/SCALLOP: The attention to quality here is evident in this nigiri. Lightly torched, fresh scallops with a dollop of mayo and sprinkle of scallion was the best I've had. We will definitely be back and have found a new favorite in the area!

I love love love this cozy neighborhood spot in Terra Linda. My go-to and favorite is the Ikoi sushi lunch combo which offers delicious nigiri and assorted rolls at a affordable price. Ikoi is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking is available, as well as many other food and drink establishments. Service is relaxed, so let your server know you can take care of the bill early if you have to get back to the office.

Smoked Salmon Nigiri and Salmon Nigiri

My niece and I came by for lunch and I have all good things to say about this cute little place. It's small and intimate but don't let that fool you, the food is really good. We ordered miso soup, smoked salmon nigiri and regular salmon nigiri, chicken yachotori(chicken skewers), two orders of California rolls and ramen which me modified to have the soup base and chicken instead of pork. Everything was great down to the amazing service we received from our sweet waiter who was efficient and very kind. My brother surprised me later on that day by asking which restaurant did we go to because he wanted to order some nigiri now after tasting some of mine that I took to go. 10/10 will be back.

Very happy we discovered this place! We ordered takeout. The food was good. The miso soup was very bland and wasn't quite a fan. The raw fish tasted very fresh! Cute little place! Great service!

I rate this sushi restaurant an A+ for what I would consider a "C/D grade raw fish, if that makes any sense.

Ask the Community - Ikoi Sushi

Does this place have gluten free and dairy free options?

The Nigiri should be both gluten and dairy free as it's just fish and rice. There is some gluten in soy sauce. I'd recommend asking the servers what other menu items are gluten and dairy free.

Does this restaurant have 100% real crab? Not the crab mix.

We only have imitation crab meat. We don’t carry real crab. Thanks.

Are staff wearing masks and taking Covid19 precautions?

Yes, all of the staff is wearing masks and taking orders online, phone and in-person. They have closed off the entry so only the staff is inside and customers stand outside to pick up their food.

That should have been the first red flag. After being seated, we were completely ignored. No placemats, no water, no greeting -- nothing. We had to ask just to be acknowledged so we could order, and even then the staff acted like we were an inconvenience. What made it worse was watching them clear two other tables, seat new families there, and fully set those tables up -- all while we were still sitting there with zero service. It was obvious we were not a priority at all. The only moment anyone looked our way was when we finally got up and walked out -- and not a single person attempted to apologize or stop us. That level of indifference says everything. Absolutely unacceptable service. We will never return.

They do have a to-go area where you can place order and pick it up, rather than going into the actual restaurant. My go to dish is the bistec sandwich, paired with their house special hot sauce, it is soooo good!!!! They also sell bottles of their hot sauce and salad dressing which is amazing. I came around 5:50PM on a Sunday night and had to wait about 10 minutes, but by the time I left around 6:30PM, the line was out the door and then some. Definitely get here early, and parking shouldn't be too hard with a lot nearby and free street parking. This spot is pretty casual, as in you order at the counter before grabbing a number and sitting at a table. As opposed to a food hall, you get directed where you sit before ordering, and sometimes end up sharing a table with another party, especially in my case when you have a party of 2. Service was attentive and food came out at a decent pace, though they did not come all together. I ordered a large Bistec Sandwich and a Pasteles Special. The Bistec sandwich is a must order, and I recommend ordering the sandwich over the plate due to how fragrant the bread was. Pictures might not look like much, but the bread was sooo good and crispy, and they give a good balance of meat, avocado and veggies. It can be a little heavy, but a large sandwich was perfect for my wife and I to share along with another plate. The Pastales was alright - the rice is pretty unique if you're looking for new flavors, but the pork was a little stinky and dry. The hot sauce on the table is really good and managed to mitigate that, and it's not as spicy as you'd think given the color and smell. The banana leaf in the tamale made it really fragrant with a unique taste, and the lemon sauce on the salad balanced the entire plate out. For a party of 2, I recommend ordering the Bistec Sandwich in large size (since I believe the regular price only gives you half) and another plate. I also recommend using the toast tab (online order) to look at the menu over their actual menu; the UI of it makes it hard to choose what to order and the toast menu has pictures next to the menu item. Given that Marin food options can be quite expensive or fancy, this place is the perfect place to go for a unique food spot, especially if you're coming from SF.

There is street parking available and seating was quick, although we arrived shortly after 5 pm. My husband had fried spring rolls, fried chicken, lemon aid, and the seafood hot pot with rice. I had the fresh rolls with shrimp. Both of us took home lots of leftovers. The fried chicken was excellent and not greasy. The spices were delightful and not overwhelming. It was perfectly crispy. The spring rolls were also very good and crispy with a nice mix of flavors. The real star was the seafood hot pot! So many great pieces of shrimp, seafood, mushrooms, peppers, bok choy, onion, and the best light broth. I kept sneaking my fork into my husband's bowl for more and I'm usually not a big fan. My fresh rolls were both generous and excellent. I appreciated the delicate balance between the romaine and mint with the fresh vermicelli. The shrimp were thinly sliced and fresh. We will be making this place a regular on our rotation of favorites.

Their bánh mì options are legit and absolutely worth ordering. They also have a killer pho lineup with all the classics--barbecue beef, chicken, pork, and more. Perfect balance to the richer dishes. Another standout detail: they serve coconut juice straight from an actual cut coconut, which feels both fresh and fun and pairs perfectly with the food. They offer both dine-in and to-go, which makes it easy whether you're sitting down for a meal or grabbing something quick. Between the bánh mì, the pho, the fresh rolls, and the coconut drink, Saigon Village delivers on flavor and variety. A solid go-to spot for Vietnamese comfort food.
