5 Garlic Knots
Julia H.

There aren't a ton of pizza spots that come to mind for me in this area. I had walked by this place many times but never noticed it and tried it on a whim. If I had to characterize it I would call it more of a New York slice, salty greasy and very satisfying. Surprisingly the garlic knots were also very good and i don't even usually go for them! Pies are very big so definitely more for a group (though I ordered this just for myself lol).

The so called Rice ball Which allegedly is actually made with risotto and had the consistency of polenta, yes polenta. Very disappointed.

This review is based on the nasty tasting food that made me sick , the dried up so called Rice ball and the arrogant manager who spoke with me on the phone. According to the manager the rice ball is actually made with Risotto. That was the first red flag. The second was the lack of accountability , even after telling him the rice ball was inedible. Also - I have no understanding as to why they cut the rice ball in half. Maybe its an attempt to try and mask the polenta like texture. If I could give 0 stars I would. According to Mr.Arrogant manager no-one has ever complained. Smh. I highly doubt I will order from here again . This restaurant needs to stop acting like everyone does not know what good food safe food and a rice ball is. I surely do and this is not it. It also made us sick. I am nauseous as I type this.

I've used too good to go for this pizzeria many times and they have an amazing deal using it. 4 slices of pizza for 5 or 6 dollars. The pizza is generally pretty flavorful but the only thing that takes it from being a 5 out of 5 is the crust. It is very very often too crunchy. The perfect ny slice should be bendable without it breaking but almost every time I've gotten pizza here, it breaks and makes the crust not enjoyable. They have a lot of special slices and I would very much so recommend though. Tons of seats in side too!

Big place. Stopped in to grab a slice and a beer for my baby hangover. Got a pepperoni Sicilian with a corona. Not too shabby. Could've been hotter. But not complaining. Staff friendly. Loved the decor.

We came up to Brooklyn to visit family and told them we were craving some delicious authentic NY Pizza and they recommended. Was not disappointed!! Amazing and perfect! Service was great and delivered hot and fresh. Will definitely order again and looking forward to leftovers tomorrow! Pies were huge! Highly recommend

Casual neighborhood spot serving some pretty good pastas. We've ordered delivery a couple of times before and then dined in for the first time. Service was super friendly, and I think it was the owner (?) but there was a kind older gentleman who kept checking on all the tables to make sure we have everything we need. We've tried a bunch of their pastas: carbonara, alfredo, vodka, bolognese. All of them were delicious. Maybe the tiniest bit on the bland side, but the pasta itself was perfectly al dente.

Vegan cheese pizza with eggplant.

They have vegan cheese! I usually get the vegan brick oven pizza with eggplant. The dough is delicious, they load it up with plenty of cheese, and they don't skimp on the toppings. The eggplant is not the best I've had, but still decent. I wish they offered more vegan pizza options rather than me having to customize my own. I got french fries as a side and they were great. A restaurant is often only as good as the cheapest item on their menu because it shows the care they put in the food, no matter what. You get a big portion of fries and they even top it with parsley (or cilantro?). Delivery is reliable as well, which is always a plus.

Twice my best friend and I have ordered takeout from here and we weren't disappointed! Their eggplant parm sandwich, fries, pasta, and garlic knots are so tasty!

Ok, this is a white pie with double pepperoni, and I'm here to tell you it's AMAZING. Look no further.

When I…read morefound myself galavanting in Bushwick on arguably the coldest day of the year, Ten Bells popped up as a natural haven where I unwrapped myself and indulged in my favorite food of the season. Right off the bat, the bar area is absolutely gorgeous and meets you with so much warmth, light and joy as soon as you walk in to this establishment. I plopped myself on the bar and had the pleasure of making conversation with Elouise and Alejandra. They put in my standard two dozen oyster order and paired my platter with a glass of the happy hour white wine which happens to be their house chardonnay. The oysters were delicious although I must say there was a lot of shell pieces inside, which was very annoying to eat. I don't think this is necessarily the fault of whoever is shucking them. I noticed the oysters they serve have a lot of thin slivers of shell on the edges which are bound to end up in your mouth. Perhaps they can try serving another variety of oysters? Just a thought. The chardonnay was pretty good and service was amazing. The girls at the bar also let me try the Ten Bells red wine which is produced specially for them in Boudreaux, France. It was a beautiful, light, and smooth red blend. As a wine lover, I will definitely be back to try more of their wines on tap. This is a great neighborhood establishment that I feel everyone should pop in and visit!!

I didn't see that till I was leaving and the guy at the counter didnt make me the wiser. The menu is huge but there were only a few items on display on the Thursday I went. ( It was the day before Good Friday). They do make pasta items etc as you order but a lot of things I asked for were not available. Even the lunch special posted on the wall inside was not available. I'm guessing this is the Caribbean side of the Caribbean Soul Food ( I can joke about that, I'm Caribbean lol) The guy at the register said they have more of a full stock on Fridays and weekends. Anyway, the food that we did end up getting was really good. I got whole fried fish and was told it would be about 10 mins for him to fry it fresh. Id wait again and again for this fish, it was perfectly seasoned and I ate it piping hot and ordered another. The rasta pasta did not have lots of of veggies , he also made that upon us ordering. It looked plain but it was so delicious- the sauce was silk and rich. Collard greens 10/10 ,I think in all the soulfood places I tried recently this one took first place. The mac and cheese pretty good too. Jerk chicken was good. Take out only. Food that has to be prepared on spot is made right in front of you too.

What a great seafood restaurant! Greenpoint Fish & Lobster has a fresh seafood counter to purchase…read moreitems as well as a full restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation, as this spot is popular, especially on a nice weekend. We recently had a weekend brunch at one of the tables outside. Everything on the menu sounded good, but we decided on a couple of their specials. Started with the razor clams, which were cooked perfectly and topped with fresh herbs. We also had the fried soft shell crab sandwich with the side of Caesar salad. The sandwich was well balanced with the crunchy crab and herby aioli. The Caesar was light and refreshing. The fish and chips came with two fried filets of white fish and a basket of classic fries. The fish was lightly battered and flakey. The house made tartar sauce was a good complement to it. One of my top meals this year so far! Perfect summer meal!

Their HH deals are pretty solid -- $2 East Coast Oysters, $10 select wines and $6 beer special. Grabbed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc as I waited for my friend to arrive, which they were very patient and accommodating for. As soon as my friend arrived, we ordered a 1/2 dozen West Coast oysters, which were not on the happy hour menu, and several dozens of the HH East Coast oysters. Our server did an excellent job explaining the origin of the oysters as well as the specials of the day. The West Coast oysters were Kumamoto (California), while the East Coast selection were called Bad Boys (from Nova Scotia, Canada). Normally I'm a big fan of West coast oysters, but the Bad Boys were delicious! They were plump with a bold ocean brine & crisp finish. My friend also ordered a cup of clam chowder, which he thoroughly enjoyed. One of the best oyster HH spots I've come across, because it seems to be harder finding good ones lately. Would definitely come back to try the other seafood dishes.

I ordered two cheese empanadas , an order of tostones and an arroz con pollo entree. As I left and was walking I was feeling abit hungry so I bit into the empanada and it tasted like old oil . It was disgusting . I'm certain they very rarely change their frying oil. Even whilst eating the inside with cheese I couldn't even enjoy it as all I tasted was old oil . When I got home i tried the tostones to see if it was better and it was worst . Just the worst I've ever had again plagued with the stale oil disease . The arroz con pollo isn't even worth discussing . This is the opposite of finesse . It's shredded chicken ( quite dry ) mixed in with the rice and veggies and two slabs of plantains on top for looks . The fried plantains helped a lot on masking the dryness and yuckiness of this meal . This was certainly not worthy of the calorie intake at all. I've had this same meal at other Ecuadorian restaurants and this was easily the worst . The portion size was huge though if that matters . It's amazing how many people I saw coming in and getting food while waiting for my order . Maybe I'm in the minority but I swear my experience was a waste of 20+ dollars .
