Santa Panza is dangerously close to my house--like, "should I start eating pasta every night?" close. Bonus points that it's right by the J, so I can justify it as convenient, not just indulgent. The food? So good. The spaghetti special came with mussels in a white sauce that was straight-up divine--slurped it up happily. The corn cacio e pepe felt like Italian elote, really good - covered in parm. The salmon was also yummy but watch out for the hot cherry tomatoes (they may burn you when they pop). Ended the night with an affogato made with espresso ice cream. Should I have chosen vanilla ice cream? No, I have no regrets. Coffee on coffee on coffee. The service was good, nothing exceptional. The entire atmosphere is surprisingly beautiful. Restaurants right off the J aren't usually the cutest but she's cute!

The service, the food, the ambience, the music, the vibes: impeachable ! Such a cute little date spot! I loved their playlist. They have soooo many options for wine and dessert wine you won't be disappointed. The short rib ravioli was amazing, the arancini was also delicious, and the queen mary pizza was nice and sweet. Our server was also so nice and welcoming. It gets busy so make sure to make a reservation on resy! Definitely recommend!

Great happy hour! Excellent hospitality! Comfortable charming counter service! Great pizza with delicious house chili oil! We will be back to try more of this menu! Cheers!

The food was okay the salad had too bitter leaves that took up most of the plate. The pizza was a bit too soggy at the crust and the pasta was okay but not oh my this is good. The atmosphere was chill and cool for a quick bite to hang out.

Santa Panza has always been one of my favorites. Charming in its own way and very chill vibes with a cute backyard if you choose to sit outside. Staff is always friendly and make you feel welcome. The food is exceptional with some new items on the menu. They use fresh ingredients and everything on the menu is amazing including their brick oven pizza. Places like these puts Brooklyn on the map for great culinary eats. I love this place!

Santa Panza is so good! Decided to come back for my birthday with some friends. Made reservations ahead of time, but I think we could have done a walk in and got seated. Honestly, everything we ordered was amazing. From starters to pasta/pizza, everyone was super happy about each item. The Agnolotti was incredible! Everyone loved the Queen Mary! Definitely will come back again!

Dec special: cod and beans (far tastier than it sounds). I do wish the beans were puréed.

Although I've only been here twice, years apart, I'm always thinking of it. It's cozy intimate space for single diners to small groups. I myself dined alone once, my favorite pastime. What made me love it was that they didn't rush me out. I can dine in for hours so that was a huge win for me. Any place that lets me take my time to pig out has a small piece of my loyalty:) On my most recent visit I finally convinced someone to try it out. Many people don't like eating by underpasses/trains/highways so spaces like these are hard to venture to. Even several years later the food was still amazing. That being said they have a pizza with onions on it, that one would be tasty if it had flavor (and some caramelized onions instead). Although the person that ordered it liked it they said they didn't love it and after three (small) slices they were over it. Overall a quaint spot for tasty meal or quick pizza bite any season.

Best Italian food in Brooklyn, hands down. The executive chef, Mr. Guido Moltisanti, prepares his dishes using his very own family recipes. The Agnolotti was the finest meal I've had in the United States: handmade pasta stuffed to the brim with braised beef. The craftsmanship and passion that clearly went into this dish is simply incomparable. Bravo! Grazie!

Finally made it for dinner . I sat in the back which is even more cozy and a vibe. Music was on point, service was on point, food was on point, drinks were on point. SANTA PANZA is the ultimate Italian oasis.

Intimate Italian spot with unique flavors. The crispy brussels sprouts came with a cold tomato sauce. The caesar salad was pretty light on dressing and the parmesan was fluffy and soft. I was not a fan of the marinated/pickled onion slices that came with the burrata but the accompanying focaccia was crispy and delicious. For my main, I had the mushroom pappardelle. I absolutely love the texture of the mushrooms and sauce but the noodles were really thick for pappardelle (almost whole wheat-like) and some had congealed/stuck together, which was disappointing.

Easily the best pizza I've ever had. I ordered the Prosciutto e fungi pizza and it was absolutely incredible. They've also got a neat collection of European beer. The restaurant is a small, cozy, intimate space with great service. Too bad I live in Kansas City!

    How the pizza was delivered
    Maliyka M.

I will give them a second try but this first try, I'm not impressed. I ordered a pizza via ubereats. The restaurant was responsible for delivering it. I don't know what they constitute as being a pie but what I received wasn't a pie. It looked like they threw slices in a box and sent it on its way. There was also barely any cheese. I have had margarita pizzas before. I don't know what they think this was but it wasn't it. I will give them another try in the future but as far as first impressions go.... They failed.

Waiting in line to get added to a waitlist that still doesn't always guarantee you will sit down to eat at the requested time - we were seated 40 mins after checking in (unusually long, never had more then 20 mins or so in past visits) but still a strange system, keeps the spot exclusive I'd guess. Have visited several times and always have had a good meal and the prices are very fair. What impresses me most is how naturally Roberta's became more than a restaurant. Food, music, parties, outdoor spaces, and an extraordinary mix of people all seemed to converge here, giving the place a cultural gravity that could never have been designed by committee.
