Great coffee place at commercial! Plenty of seating for couples and singles, not that great for big groups. This place has a variety of coffee that tastes great and other drinks such as hot chocolate. As well, they also have an assortment of pastries. For the summer, they have gelatos.

The location and business hours are great. Situated at a corner with street parking, it is a convenient place to meet friends for a drink. It also opens till late (9/10 pm) which gives them the after dinner or evening crowd. We were looking for a place to have coffee or tea, and the other coffee shops in the area close early like 5/6 pm. Besides drinks, there are pastries and gelato. We only had the coffee and it was ok. They charged extra for iced version and it was not stated in the menu. I only found out after I got the receipt. They also cannot do iced version for the regular coffee. It has to be Americano and latte etc. I had their house latte which was to have condensed milk but I couldn't really detect the condensed milk at all. It must be quite minimal in it. The reason to come here is they open till late and there is ample space to chill and have a nice chat with friends.

While the fumes of the lacquered counter tops still lingering in the air and paint is just drying, this triplex ice cream shop / cafe and bakery is open for business. As we enter this shinny new cafe, we find it to be filled with enthusiasts. Each with a cup in hand while the other hand on laptops, some on books some on their partners. Alright place looks promising. With wet chilly spring weather, we opted for couple of hot drinks and some pastries. Pause the idea of gelato for another time. Hot cocoa, double baked hazelnut chocolate croissant and cinnamon bun. Let me tell you, they looked good and promising. Also costed a pretty penny. Definitely above average in prices. Then the quality reveal. We found definitely the pastries were at least a day old and gamey. Yup that's right, they do not have the hallmarks of freshness, flakey crispy layers and softness. I'd imagine they might have been great when they just came out of the oven. But not the case here today for us. Service was touch and go. While the cashier was polite, the barista was outright rude. Also the payment splash screen- whats with the 15%, 25% gratuity when they actually do zero service like cleaning the sticky tables or clear way dirty dishes-the 45 minutes while we were there? I know I know this place is just a baby, so they may just be reviving up?!? I am going to be gentle here and give them 2.5 stars. But I will not likely be back.

It was busy as expected Saturday afternoon, but I was lucky to grab a table right away after I ordered. The interior is warm and not too cramped even though it's small. It looks like there is a patio that they may open during warmer months but it's closed now (January). I'm not sure if it could be called a 100% pure authentic Italian cafe but there is a bit of Italian influence in the bakery offerings, plus of course they serve gelato. The baked goods all looked so good. The food was very good. I had a salmon & cream cheese croissant sandwich, chocolate lava cake, and a masala chai latte. They were out of the salmon sandwiches in the prepared case but they made one fresh for me which was definitely better. I was expecting maybe some greens or onions or something else on the sandwich but it is really salmon and cream cheese only. I do prefer some vegetable on my sandwiches but I will not rate this on something it wasn't trying to be, and if I just judge it as smoked salmon and cream cheese on a croissant, it was perfect. The croissant was very fresh and had a buttery flavour but wasn't oily to touch. They warmed up the lava cake and it was also amazing, full-bodied but not too sweet. My chai latte was spicy and also not very sweet (which is how I prefer it). Just fyi, there was a single vegan baked good (an orange olive oil cake which looked great) and there are nondairy milks for your drinks, but I did not see anything vegan and savoury on offer. There is a "breakfast sandwich" on the menu which is not described in further detail - it COULD be vegetarian but very likely not. So do not count on a meal here if you are veg.

The baguette was full of complex flavours and each bite showed it's true colours Their breads are definitely artisan made The croissant was also amazing with its flakey layers. It was buttery but not overwhelming. The bread pudding was also delicious but not my style. I wish it had a few more apple chunks to every bite, I think that would add some extra freshness to the taste. They also sell a lot of goods in the store like canned fish, jams, and chocolates!

I was glad to visit on a Sunday morning while taking a walk with my boyfriend in his neighbourhood. When we arrived, it was quite busy. The coffee shop is small, but charming with limited seating available. The menu mainly contains basic coffee shop items as well as a variety of baked goods. We ordered an iced specialty coffee with ice cream and a small latte. I also chose the Tiramisu danish and we nibbled on it while waiting for our coffee. The danish was suggested by the cashier as one of the more popular items. She was completely right, because this baked treat was heavenly. The outside was like a croissant, flakey and buttery and paired with a delicious tiramisu custard on the inside. We also grabbed a scone for our walk home (which turned out to be delicious as well). The shop also sells local artisanal goods such as chocolate, sauces, and even loaves of bread. It's nice to gander around while waiting for your order. We enjoyed our coffee on the walk back home. The coffee is quite strong, which would be optimal for most coffee lovers. The flavour was deep and chocolate-y, but not bitter at all. I read on their site that they regularly rotate their bean selection. I would love to return to try more of their food items!

The tiramisu croissant ($6) was somehow dry yet soggy at the same time, thanks to the filling inside. On the plus side, the barista brought the coffee to our table, which was a nice touch. The place is always busy, with limited seating both inside and out, so you might need to wait to get a seat or do takeout.

Then I reached the counter... and saw a sign that completely derailed my plans. It said that if you purchased two festival passport items, you'd receive a token for the gachapon machine. Well... I'm apparently very easy to influence. So instead of one dessert, I walked away with two. Mango Coconut Sticky Rice Latte Float This was a fresh mango coconut sticky rice smoothie topped with salted coconut cream, fresh mango cubes, and mango coconut sticky rice ice cream. The surprise was the little chewy balls of sticky rice hidden inside the drink--they made every sip more fun! The salted coconut cream balanced the sweetness nicely, and the whole thing tasted like a refreshing tropical dessert in a cup. Mango Coconut Slush Fresh mango slush topped with salted coconut cream and fresh mango chunks. If you're a mango lover, this one definitely delivers. It was fruity, refreshing, and perfect for a warm day. Now for the gachapon... I excitedly put in my token, imagining I'd win a cute sticker, a pin, or some adorable souvenir. Instead... Another passport stamp. Technically, it's still a prize... but let's just say my excitement level dropped a tiny bit. At least it saved me one more festival stop, so I can't complain too much. Overall, if you love mango, Elephant Garden Creamery absolutely knows how to turn it into a delicious dessert. I just learned that gachapon machines don't always grant the prizes your heart dreams of.

However, recently their July rotational flavours really blew my friends and I away, so much that my friends have come 3 times in the last week. Their fresh mango ice cream was absolutely amazing, great flavour and not too sweet. I also really liked the lilikoi cheesecake. Who can resist passion fruit and cheesecake in a creamy ice cream? We decided to also try the float since it already contained a scoop of mango ice cream and it was super yummy! The mango at the bottom mixed perfectly with the sticky rice and coconut and it wasn't too thick despite having all those ingredients and the ice cream. There is some seating inside their cute little store, but due to summer, it can get quite busy on nice days and peak hours. The line up can also get quite hefty so I recommend coming during non peak hours (e.g. weekdays and on rainy/cloudy days) if you don't like to wait.
