The food is amazing. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Very tasty. Fresh ingredients and the perfectly crispy crust. If we hadn't already ordered our entrees, we would have ordered more pizzas. My only complaint about the place was it can get a little loud and at times it was hard to hear our waitress or friends. It didn't help that the table next to us had a few people who were using their "outside" voice. We can't wait to go back. Reservations fill up quickly so you have to plan ahead to visit this cute little place ! read more

Loved everything about this visit and can't wait to try again. We had the ravioli, sausage broccoli pizza and chicken Marsala. All three dishes were excellent. I think my original favorite Italian place has been replaced. First let me say both my parents are Italian and I don't go out for Italian food, because...well why? We were celebrating 20 years of being together and wanted to pick someplace new and my husband found this place. Everything we ordered was so good! We had the octopus to start, it was delicious with the most amazing potatoes and arugula salad. Then we both had the cacio e peppe. It was better than mine. That takes a lot for me to say but the truth is the truth. We didn't want the food to stop so I jokingly said we should get pizza. Well my husband called my bluff and the pizza is amazing. Then we had dessert the stuffed doughnut was light and airy. The service was probably the best I've had at a restaurant. Friendly, attentive without hovering and that's a tough balance. Sorry Rosetti's, but you took the bolognese off the menu and nothing else is as good. I've tried, so Il Ponte took your place. I moved to Boston 17 years ago and I'm still scratching my head why people think the North End is great. I've never had a meal this good in the North End. Ever. Sorry no pictures. Came in on short notice with two kids in tow - they very nicely sat us at a table out of the way and did everything they could to make the experience work for a fussy two year old. We had the lamb Milanese, octopus, garganelli and pasta bolognese - all excellent though I might say the garganelli was the hit of the night. Very good wine by the glass - highly recommend the Malbec at $13 a glass. The service was excellent and very relaxed and the place (I believe this was previously Forunatos) is beautiful and welcoming. Highly recommend what I think is our new go to for Italian in the area. It's my birthday met a few friends for dinner in this new spot in Woburn center. A small neighborhood restaurant that you'd feel comfortable with friends or alone at the bar. But the best is the food -- everything is made in house. From the beet salad, eggplant appetizer, side of broccoli mushroom risotto and bolognese tagliatelle - how we had room for desert do T know but glad we did. Saw this restaurant on Phantom Gourmet recently and decided to check it out. Well let me tell you...you will not be disappointed. We went here last night, Friday, July 5, 2024 at 8:15pm w/o a reservation. Cozy little place with maybe 40 seats. We were greeted warmly upon arrival. There were no tables available but we were able to snag two seats at the bar. There, we were greeted by the bartender, Luigi. He was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. He was very knowledgeable about every dish on the menu. I ordered a glass of Chateau Lalande Cabernet and my wife had a red Sangria as we peruse over the menu. Luigi brought over a basket full of fresh warm breads, the focaccia with garlic oil that was great. We started with Beef Carpaccio. Excellent. For dinner, I ordered the "Special" of the night, a 16oz. swordfish lightly crusted over a bed of risotto and asparagus with a special sauce...UNBELIEVEABLY DELICIOUS!!!! My wife had the Fettuccine Al Porcini in a mushroom sauce, again, absolutely delicious. Durning our dinner, the owners, Beni and Hortenca had stopped by and introduced themselves. Both were very Personable, Friendly and Proud. I could see that this was not just a job for them, this was their Love of food and making their customers happy. After our meal, we had a Tiramisu and limoncello drinks. Excellent. Again, as we exited, we received warm thanks for coming. The Service, Cleanliness, Food, Portions and Price all get 5*****s !!!!! Great food. Take out order of Bolognese, Cacio e Pepe, Lamb Milanese & Fico a la Parma. The pastas are fresh and well prepared, the seasoning is spot on but what made this 5 stars was the Pizza and Cacio. Cacio a Pepe is too often bland and heavy. This WAS NOT. Great cook on the spaghetti, the sauce was velvety, and perfectly seasoned. The Fig and Proscuito pizza was the best blend of salty and sweet (I don't usually like sweet & savory dishes) that was in perfect balance. Now the dough, oh God the dough, was crisp but so pillowie ( is that a word?). Either way this is an excellent Italian Ristorante. Owen was the bartender and he was so informative about the restaurant and the food. He had such a warm and friendly demeanor and made us feel so welcome there! And his recommendations were spot on! We feasted on ceasar salad, fried calamari, spaghetti cacio e pepe, gnocchi and the garganelli alla campagnola - all so fresh, homemade and DELICIOUS! Went to IL Ponte tonight for dinner with a girl friend. I have to say it was delicious. I had the chicken parm and it was like like eating in the North End of Boston. Atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, very cozy. Only thing I did not like is they did not have Bud Light :( read more

This is a small venue with very good food and generous portions. My friend with dietary restrictions tells me that the chef is very accommodating. The service is usually very good but can be off. The last time we were there, there was a large, noisy party of about 20 people in the front. We ordered and then waited for the large party to be served before we got our food. My husband received the wrong dish. We believe that the waitress misheard him. He didn't send the dish back because we had already waited awhile. The dish was still good, however. read more
