I was the guest of honor here a few days ago for my 70th birthday celebration. My wife and I invited approximately 55 guests, about 5 that had needs for gluten free foods. I really could not imagine a more attentive staff, as they were always greeting us with smiles. They never balked at any of our requests for special assistance with anything. The food was amazing as well as the experience. In the meantime, KT and I look forward to enjoying a lunch or dinner at Teresa's in the near future. i have been to their sister restaurants a few times, so when i saw there was a teresa's a bit closer, i gave them a try. i came here to dine in once, and tiago provided excellent service throughout our meal. since then, i've ordered take out from here a few times, and the service is always above and beyond. oysters were good, burrata was good. margherita pizza was good, would have preferred more basil. the spicy rigatoni was good but not at all spicy. drinks were okay, kind of watered down. oysters 7/10 burrata 7.8/10 margherita pizza 7.2/10 spicy rigatoni 7.3/10 rum & coke 4/10 pineapple coconut margarita 7/10 the ambiance is more casual at the bar, and more formal in the dining area. the food is great, service is excellent, and it's a solid choice if you're in the area. ambiance: 4.2/5 food: 3.6/5 drinks: 3.8/5 service: 5/5 teresa's ristorante: 4.1/5 read more

We used to love this place . We have tried and tried 4 times now and one time for lunch . Forget about it . It has gone down hill so bad over the past two years . Last time there were mice running around the bar and I know it happens to best of them but let's just say figures. Went to Teresa's recently with my family and had a different experience. My family all got pasta dishes that looked and were really good. I decided to go with the steak frites. Asked for my steak done medium and it looked like they just walked it through a warm room before they put it on the plate. There were also only about 6 little pieces of steak on the plate. As for the truffle fries, they were better off serving them in a bowl with a spoon with how soggy they were. Service was outstanding though! In all, I guess stick to the Italian. read more

It was disappointing. For the six of us including a round of drinks, two appetizers, 2 bottles of $50 wine and our meals was more than $600 with tip. The restaurant on a Thursday wasn't 50% full yet our service was slow. Dinners arrived with appetizer plates still on the table. The dining room was brightly lit (too much so) and was recently completely renovated. The food was average at premium prices. Calamari was flavorful. The burrata with prosciutto had a nice piece of burrata, a strange chopped tomato on the side and the prosciutto had chewy hard pieces that made it hard to enjoy. My wife's Marsala was disappointing with the chicken dry. The veal Parmesan was overcooked and burned on edges. My pork chop work vinegar peppers was drowned in a sauce. It was a healthy cut of pork cooked medium that was flavorful with roasted potatoes sitting in the sauce/broth - not like most chops cooked traditionally this way. The short rib pappardelle lacked the flavor of slow cooked ribs likely because it was drowned in broth. The two stars is a function of the value of the experience. I debated 3 stars, but the value did not meet the standard. read more

We have been wanting to visit the new site since they moved in when Strega moved out. Sylvan Rd, Woburn inside of Cummings Park sits a great addition to the Woburn restaurant scene....Teresa's Ristorante! After a long day, we stopped in for a quick bite. Upon arrival, we pulled up to see the parking lot full. It was a Saturday night, so we figured it would be busy but not as busy as it appeared. We were lucky enough to get high top by the bar, which was perfect for us. 3 beautiful tv's showing the Bruin's/Canadiens game and a decent size bar in the center of the room with chandeliers above! A very nice setting.....we were part of the high tops sitting around the main bar. All of the seats at the bar and at the high tops were filled, as well! We were quickly serviced by our waitress and we were able to put our full order in (drinks, bread and main dish). The waitress was very nice and we could tell she was busy and doing the best she could. We ordered 2 pizzas. One cheese and one white pizza with mushroom and arugala. Both were personal size. As I said, we were just stopping in for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Both pizzas were excellent. The service was A+ and we definitely plan to return for a full dinner soon.....ideally before Christmas! I've been a frequent flyer at Teresa's in Middleton, but hadn't felt much love as time goes by--pork chops and vinegar peppers are their best dish. BUT the new Woburn location brings a lively vibe and hopping bar scene in Strega's old digs. I think they've even upped their game with food selections and preparations in the classic Italian style. We were there for a birthday celebration and servers were aware of the birthday girl, who got a flaming candle atop tiramisu at the end of dinner. Julie our server was spectacular as was manager Matt (who fixed a slight mix up with a bunch of similar looking chocolate martinis delivered to wrong folks). Matt remade drinks and even comped the round, which nobody expected. Great customer service for sure! Everyone loved their entrees and desserts. I particularly enjoyed the panna cotta. My husband and I went there the other night for the first time as we usually go to the one in Middleton, and it was fantastic! We had great drinks and the food was delicious, including the fresh warm bread and oil they served at the beginning of the meal. Teresa's in Woburn maintains the same high standards for outstanding service and fantastic food. This is one of three Teresa's and the newest located in a former steakhouse. It's a big restaurant with lots of table and booth seating in the bar area and another large dining room. I appreciated the greeter's flexibility in seating us- a party for 4. We ended up in a booth in the bar area. The booth was tight for 4 people and I would have preferred one of the larger rounded three bench booths for us. Cozy dining. The restaurant is very nice inside and the bar would be great for 2 to dine. Our server was friendly, responsive and attentive throughout the meal. We had: chicken piccata, shrimp scampi, pollo milano and spicy vodka rigatoni with chicken. Each was fresh, tasty, well prepared and the portions were plentiful. We had a 630 reservation and got seated at 6:55. out of the six appetizers two were not available and out of the eight entrées three were not available. Slow service for appetizers and entrées, despite the dissipating crowd, caused much waiting time. Watching White staff, we received a message. They were tired and wanted to go home. Our appetizer, should have been hot, arrived tepid. Our main courses arrived hot, but we found the fish overpowered with plate full of risotto.. during our meal, we witnessed waitresses, wanting to vacuum and tidy up as many guests left by then. There seem to be arguments between the staff of who had the vacuum and who had the other materials needed to clean up. Perhaps it could've been not in front of customers and had a more private conversation about it? Again, we felt unwanted.. perhaps they need to refrain from making a 630 reservation when they close at seven, as the staff, with body language and words, let those patrons know that they needed to hurry up their meal and leave? read more

Bread was delicious! Tuna Tar Tare was great as an appetizer! Lobster Fra Diavolo was good and had a ton of lobster! Ravioli and Meatball was great. My kids got the cheese pizza and a side of fries. They both said the fries were crispy and delicious but neither was a fan of the pizza saying it was very oily. They both tried to use the parchment paper the fries came in to degrease it but ultimately scraped off the top layer. The service was ok. Our waiter admitted he has only worked here for 3 weeks but Overall the atmosphere and food were decent...no comparison to the Middleton location which is a 10 but if you're in the area and hungry I would recommend. read more

Haven't been back to Teresa's for a while and decided to get takeout because the baby was in a cranky mood. I was extremely disappointed with the food. Chicken cutlet and chicken Milano were lacking flavor and the accompanying fusilli was terrible as it was undercooked and soggy. No wonder the bar had the majority of the patrons. Teresa's Ristorante opened this week at TradeCenter 128 in Woburn, in the former Strega Prime Steakhouse space facing Route 128. Teresa's has their other sister restaurants in Middleton and North Reading. After seeing the digital billboard for Teresa's Ristorante along Route 128 Southbound over the weekend, I decided to stop in for dinner before heading to an event. I made a reservation online beforehand too. The place has a modern atmosphere with the cocktail bar and lounge to the left upon entering and an upscale casual dining room straight ahead with tables covered with white linen table covers and linen napkin wrapped silverware and a glass wine bottle wall in the back. There is light vocal music playing over the speakers. Upon arrival, I was promptly seated in the dining room and given food and drink menus. The dinner menu offers a variety of Italian and American dishes and pizzas here at higher moderate pricing. I reviewed the menu online and already had an idea what I wanted to order. The server arrived with a glass of ice water it offered me a complementary basket of bread and oil with spices. The pieces of bread were soft and chewy, great for dipping in the spicy olive oil mix. I started out with the Mussels in a Lemon Cream Sauce ($17 plus tax) which came out hot in a bowl with 22 mussels (small size) and a thick slice of chewy ciabatta bread to soak up the sauce. This was pretty good, though my other starter choice was the Calamari which looked good at the next table. For dinner, the Steak Tips ($29 plus tax) served with 2 side choices (I chose truffle wild mushroom risotto and roasted cauliflower). The steak tips entree was a respectable portion of food which had very tender slightly sweet BBQ grilled steak tips, which were melt in your mouth great. The side of truffle wild mushroom risotto was dense and soft with plenty of mushroom slices. The roasted cauliflower was also nice and firm too. After I was done, the server convinced me to get dessert saying the tiramisu, creme brulee and pannacotta were made in house. I decided on the Pannacotta ($10 plus tax) which was a cool cream dessert topped with fresh blueberries and strawberries in a strawberry sauce. I asked for the check after I finished all of my food. The check was $59.92 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food I had was great, the service was professional with the courses of food being served efficiently and other staff helped out bringing me new silverware and napkin and refilling my cold water. I would return again for the Italian food. The pasta dishes served to the next table were also good portions. read more

To start, the service was slow, and it took a considerable amount of time for our food to come out. And to be honest, I was disappointed in the quality of the food for the high prices you pay. Where do I begin? Everything was perfect. You can't beat perfect. Started off with an arancini. They cover it with sauce, so I thought it was a big meatball, but holy heck, this thing was sooo good. The rice inside was a wonderful al dente and the flavor could not have been improved upon. I wrongly assumed at this point that this would be the highlight of the the night. Enter chicken parmigiana with pappardelle pasta. This bird was perfect. And by perfect, I mean frickin' perfect. Thin, but not too thin. Really big, but not too big. And the flavor was nothing short of a symphony in my mouth. Hats off, Teresa, you did it, girl. But the pappardelle was their secret weapon to really win me over. They don't say on their menu that any of the pasta is fresh/homemade. Most places don't have fresh pasta, and those that do, charge extra for it. Now while I can't say with absolute certainty this was fresh pasta, I'm pretty darn sure it was. It had the texture and flavor and chewiness you get only from when it's freshly made. And they didn't upcharge or mention fresh anywhere. Unbelievable. Nick, the owner, came around introducing himself to everyone, making it very clear that he wants to know if we have anything short of an outstanding experience. At one point, I was marveling at the chicken parm, and he bolts over to make sure nothing was wrong with it. Quite the contrary, good sir. Meal concluded with my wife and I splitting the most heavenly salted caramel gelato that you could have convinced me traveled the speed of light from a piazza in Rome a minute earlier. Considering inflation and how good the food was, I thought the prices were very reasonable. Our waitress, Marissa, had a great personality, was prompt, and if something was running a few minutes later than expected, she apologized when 99% of any other place's waitstaff would not. She also recommended the Pollo Milano, and my wife loved every single bite. I only wish we took more pictures. We CANNOT wait to go back. read more

Had dinner on a Thursday night, one person in the party is super sensitive to noise and lots of activity. Theresa's accomodated my request with a booth out of the way of most of the traffic. Appetizers were arancini, octupus and caesar salad. The octupus was the star - tender - which is not easy to achieve, well seasoned and served with baby potatoes and green peppers. Entrees were the short ribs, the cod and the chicken with broccoli. All good. I always find restaurant food to be oversalted -- happily, my dish, the chicken, was not, and the lobster risotto under the cod -- I would go back just to get a bowl of that risotto! Our server was terrific, and I'm looking forward to another meal at Theresa's. read more

The service was so so. The ambiance was nice. The food was horrible. Meatballs had no flavor to them and were very soft and mushy . I had the tiramisu for dessert and even that was terrible. No flavor and very wet. I wasted $179.00 on really bad food for the price you pay. I would not recommend this place! read more

On Aug 28th me and my team from Santander decided to grab a few apps and drinks after work since the place is right around the corner from us. We had 2 other friends join us as well our bartender Jeremy was great. As the night goes on I happen to choke on a piece of their thin pizza and since I don't have a thyroid due to having cancer prior I stepped outside to not make a scene of me choking. The manager on duty "Alex" apparently tells the bartender to cut me off because I was "drunk" and I was throwing up. She never once came to check in when me and my colleagues stepped outside to make sure I was doing okay. When trying to explain the situation to her she was unprofessional, unpleasant and very disrespectful. She never had a right to assume something she wasn't sure off, plus I shouldn't have to go to the extreme of expressing my health issues to a restaurant manager that clearly doesn't care whats going on in the restaurant. Instead of her assuming I "was drunk" she should've stepped outside and ASKED if everything was okay or at least have some curtesy to see what was going on. Neither the owner or other manager wanted to meet in person about this horrible incident I experienced at their restaurant. The best thing they could offer was a gift card. What a joke. Lol. No wonder the place is always empty unless they sell out for an event. The restaurant is consider high end when the customer service is not even close to being that. No need to go to the north end of the Boston area for good Italian, it's right here. Staff was very friendly and the food was great. The owner Nick even made it a point to come to our table and speak with us to be sure our experience was good. The red sauce with the arancini was great(and turns out an old family recipe), the carbonara and cacio e pepe were seasoned great. The tiramisu was everything you want with great flavor and texture. The food is always outstanding. The service and ambience is absolutely out of this world. The he pizza and chicken piccata is amazing ... All the food is amazing and great portions. The deserts and drinks are always wonderful. I highly recommend this place. The one on Rte 95 I did not care for. I'd rather not share the reasons but I am sure they k ow what they are because they are running it. But that being said. The Middleton one on route 114 gets a 5 star ! The managers and hosts and hostess do a great job. I've had 2 coalitions for one, my brother and 2 one of my parents and in both events the service and food was again. 5 stars. read more

So our first time here and probably won't return. Not overly Impressed. The calamari appetizer was not edible- it was soggy. Our waiter was very helpful and brought us mozzarella sticks as a replacement (they were yummy). Main course, my wife says her steak tips were a little over done. My mother says she does not like the napkin color but her broccoli chicken ziti was alright. Not nearly as good as cafe Luigi (RIP). The wife just commented water refills would have been nice. This was my second time at Teresa's and I wasn't disappointed. I attended a function at Teresa's recently and the food and service was outstanding, so my wife and I came back. To start, I had the Arugala Caprese Salad and my wife had the Gorgonzola Apple Salad. For the entree, I had the Rib Eye and my wife had Steak Frites. Our meals had generous proportions and were sumptuous. The waitstaff and manager, CJ, were outstanding and attentive the entire time. Service was very slow, 15 minutes seated before someone came over....there were only 2 other tables with people and a few people at the bar. Ordered mozzerella fritto, a glass of wine and a coke....mozzerella came out before the drinks and was cold and not cooked...cheese was not even warm. Ordered chicken marsala and a small cheese pizza...marsala sauce looked like thinned out brown gravy with no taste, there was ham in it that looked like low end processed ham from a deli. Pizza was average. Mozzerella fritto was taken off the bill and it was still over $70.....definitely not worth it. read more
