The burn-in on some of the monitors, the broken sound, buttons that don't work or are "sticky stuck" leave me irritated when those same machines go unfixed FOR MONTHS! In certain situations I've clicked the service button and ask them to fix it and they do nothing! One particular situation I couldn't get the denom to change, when I called for service she said that you have to click ABOVE the denom button, WHAT!? who knows to do that? And guess what, I was just out there recently and IT'S STILL NOT WORKING PROPERLY! The restaurant/s food is meh. Lastly, they are tight with the freeplay, giving you small freeplay amounts every couple of days so that you have to go up there frequently to get your free play. read more

Look I'm sorry, but they're slot machines are so tight. I'm enjiy gambling and I usually win often. Now last year I did pretty good at Ilani, but for some reason this year, I'm not sure what they've done with their slot machines , because they are not paying whatsoever . Truthfully even my VIP handler, said wow you're really getting beat up out there. I've spoke with dozens of people on the floor with the same story. I think they need to realize that they need to loosen up their machines. Eventually, people are gonna start going to other venues.. You're not the only gig in the state of Washington! Nice and clean casino located right off of I-5 in Ridgefield. There's plenty of parking available, including a parking garage. They also have hotel rooms if you want to stay overnight. There's quite a few restaurants and bars inside, some sit down and some fast food. Sit down restaurants include Michael Jordan's Steak House, Line & Lure, and Rock & Brews, just to name a few. Fast food restaurants include Smashburger, Chef Jet and I.Talia. There's also a Starbucks inside the main entrance. The casino floor and restrooms have always been clean during my visits. The complimentary beverage stations are always stocked. The cocktail servers are always nice and there are plenty of servers walking the floor. Don't hesitate to ask for complimentary bottled water while you're playing. The cocktail servers usually have a few available on their tray. Their momentum rewards card is free and it helps you earn free play and food. You can also get discounted room rates. I booked the deluxe suite. Checked out, and got a charge for room damage 2 days after I checked out. I call them to ask why. They told me an artwork fell off the wall and they have to replace it. I told them nothing was wrong when we checked out. They told me there's nothing I can say to do to prove otherwise. I asked for photo proof and this is what they sent me... it literally shows a picture of an "artwork" against a chair in a room I don't even know if it's my room. Love that this place has a lot of room to move around as opposed to a stuffy bar somewhere. There's lots to do and many places to grab a bite to eat or something sweet to eat. Some of the restrooms are getting pretty smelly and you can smell them when you walk by them. The bartenders rock here. A Coors light draft will cost you 8 bucks for a 16 oz beer. The cheapest beers is a Coors light bottle at $6.00. Randy, Jenn,Amber, Cassidy, Brenda, Spencer, Scott, Mark, Tom, Valerie, Mondo and Nick are great bartenders. First of all a couple staff deserve a shout out: big burly guy w/beard who checked my very elderly parents the first night after a long couple of hours of night driving gave us a room that was the best ever: ceilings were so high and my parents were swooning with the happiness of being on the top (15th) floor. This was a special trip for them from the Midwest so that made them feel special right away. Dark haired Lisa who was warm and cheery this evening and didn't blink when I asked for a couple extra bottles of water so we all could take our meds morning and night. There's a great corridor we walked through from the hotel to the casino. Absolutely loved the visuals. They're back lit and glorious images of the natural beauty of the area. It invites a kind of humility and awe at the same time. Permitting us to see some of the culture artifacts of the tribe is an honor. The casino floor is wonderful because there is no smoking. That makes a huge difference for the health-conscious. Signage is clear and large enough for older eyes to read. Really appreciate that. And the machines are a great mix of new and familiar ones so there's a sense of welcome rather than alienation for newcomers like us. We ate at the long house with the dining credit that was earned after playing. When it was time to get ready for bed we were able to call down and a shower chair was brought up immediately to help prevent falling. We actually returned to stay a couple nights later. This time it was a room on the lower floor but it was a quarter unit so it was very quiet. Both rooms had wonderful views. It's a really nice hotel and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Everything is very contemporary with lighting fixtures that are thoughtful and the best part is that there are outlets everywhere. Absolutely everywhere that we would need them like next to the bed to charge our phones, on the counter to charge other things. It's very smart design. The only thing that surprised us is there were no Keurig pods despite there being Keurig machines for coffee. There is a great refrigerator in case you need to store snacks medicine and food. But no microwave so just be prepared. Showers were great, maybe the water could be a little hotter, but the space is fantastic and everything was very clean. I want to shout out to the awesome humans that are down at the car receiving area. Holy cow are these gents, one in particular, hospitable and thoughtful and understanding and nothing less than exceptional customer service. And they are the first experience we have of the venue so it was amazing to have such understanding help when it took us a few extra minutes to get our bags out and orient elderly parents, etc. I'll come back and fill in the names of the staff that were really notable. But just wanted to put this out to say we really appreciate being here. Definitely plan to come again. read more

We always have a good time at ilani! The soda machines on our visit yesterday were well stocked with plenty of cups in sight. We played several of our favorite machines, but were horrified to see 1/6 of the machines were down and in a huge unsightly pile in a corner, definitely not the most pleasant or encouraging sight. We went in the middle of the day on a Tuesday and table games were pretty limited with $25+ a hand buy ins primarily. We also had no free play or offers which was a bummer. The worst part was the women's restroom on the side closest to the parking garage; so many stalls were closed down for maintenance, toilet paper all over the floors, and not a paper towel in sight in the women's or the men's rooms. We love the EV parking in the garage though, so overall it gets 4 stars from me! read more

Ilanie is Consistently Clean, Great Atmosphere - But Very Tight Slots to tight. We've attended a couple of lovely events at Ilani, and it's always been a pleasant experience. The property is spotless, and the rooms--whether a suite or a standard--are consistently comfortable and well-kept. The rewards program is GREAT, and we really enjoy the overall atmosphere. We typically play an average of $15-$20 per bet and visit about three times a year. Each time, we've been treated well by the staff, and we'd definitely come more often if it would even let us play. We have family nearby. That said, we do visit casinos to gamble, and in our experience, Ilani is much tighter than ANY other casinos we've visited across Washington. We live in King County and travel to three (3) other casinos in the state, but Ilani hands down pays out the least in our experience understanding of course that someone has to be winning. :) While we enjoy the amenities and a few events, the gaming side hasn't been rewarding for us at any time and even scared to spend more than one night at a time. read more

Was just hoping to hang out and play for a while but the slots grabbed my few hundred so fast we only stayed for a hour or so. Skip Blackjack altogether. I can't speak to their other games, but I'm done with Ilani after my second visit yesterday. My first visit in 2024 was fun and I won a couple hundred bucks. From random interval dealer rotation to the shill / plant / fake / cooler player that wouldn't shut up, clearly they're intent on busting you out with brutal efficiency. It just so happened this plant arrived when a sharp dealer took over, constantly talking to him while all other players including myself were quiet, this guy gave unsolicited advice. I politely told him "no thanks, I'm playing my hand" and he backed off. His giveaways were too comfortable talking to the dealer, using technical terminology heavily, regularly tipping the dealer. I've never experienced such a "player" before so should have listened to my instinct and walked away ASAP. Betting $25 here and there and losing but lo and behold when he was ready to bet it all he happened to hit Blackjack. This isn't my first time losing and I understand the house edge thus why I normally don't care when I lose. But this seemed to be too perfect of a setup. Tons of machines, lots of newer ones since my last visit here, and plenty of variety as far as game types go. Besides slot machines and card tables, there are multiples restaurants, eateries, and bars. There are several reserved spaces such as the ballroom where artists often perform, and a large area where the casino will host events such as the craft ale festival and holiday market I attended last month. read more

For the second time in less than five days, upon sitting down at the relocated TOM'S Watch Bar, now adjoining the Ilani Sportsbook in Ridgefield, Washington, I was informed that I had to purchase some type of food or beverage. I responded clearly: "I cannot be forced to purchase food or drink from any establishment in the State of Washington. While you may reserve the right to refuse me service for various reasons, you cannot mandate that I buy anything from your menu." This was met with a threat: "Well, I will send Security over to talk to you, then." Disappointed, I replied, "You're free to send them over. I will be right here." Shortly thereafter, two Ilani Casino security officers approached me. I immediately clarified that I was fully aware of my consumer rights, and as a patron, I cannot be compelled to make a purchase. For context, I regularly accompany two mature-aged friends to this location, both of whom are Platinum Level VIP members. I also hold a players card, albeit at a lower tier. I communicated this to the security officers, who had been summoned to enforce Tom's policy. I explained to Officer Bryan that I was not attempting to be difficult or create a scene. Bryan shared that he had dietary restrictions himself and understood my position. The conversation with both officers was respectful and pleasant, despite the actions of the initial hostess/server. I expressed my disappointment that the hostess/server had threatened me, and that management chose to involve security rather than address the situation with professionalism. I hold 35 years of experience in the sports, entertainment, and hospitality sector, and found this approach unacceptable. After the security officers departed, a different server approached and attempted to enforce the policy once again. I explained that there was little on the menu I could or would order, and asked if any alternatives might be available. Unfortunately, there was nothing on the food or beverage menu that met my dietary needs. I started with a glass of water and a lemon wedge. Despite being asked twice if they could bring me anything else, I declined both times. When I returned the menu to a young man greeting customers, I said, "There's nothing on this menu I would order." He asked bluntly, "Why not?" I explained that I have dietary restrictions. He simply walked away. Be prepared if you visit the Ilani Sportsbook expecting the same welcoming hospitality it has offered since opening. My review is purely about the casino; I've never stayed at the hotel although they do generously offer me comp nights all the time. I really have nothing to compare it to because I've never been to any other casinos other than Las Vegas and am new to this reservation land casino thing, but this place is awesome for what it is. Valet parking is super cheap so you save time, the casino is clean, staff is fine, and it's easy to get a player card. I like that the non-alcoholic drinks are at stations around the casino that you can just go up and get yourself rather than waiting for an attendant. I've yet to try any of the restaurants but there's a good variety of foods to choose from whatever your taste might be, and this is the only place I've ever seen a Michael Jordan steakhouse lol so at some point I'll have to try that. Overall, it's a pretty awesome casino kind of out in the middle of nowhere. And personally I've always come out on top in slots so I think the payout is fine lol read more

My review is directly related to my gaming experience here. Restaurants and hotel are outstanding. I play slots not tables. I noticed visiting that many slot games were shut down and not avaliable. I also noticed there are slot games that rotate they are demo models. I played a demo model that shut down midway through my transaction. I was frustrated and talked to floor staff that seemed uninterested in helping me with my situation. I went to the 360 Bar and asked a bartender if I could talk to someone. A floor manager;nice lady, came to address me and I showed her the machine I was playing. She asked if I had a voucher either entered into the Machine or received as my time was illuminated that I could not produce do to the slot machine shutting down. I chose just walk away. She was very kind. Tonight on Memorial Day Monday evening I was playing a slot that I chose to max credit at $9 a spin. Vegas style machine. It shut down and went black screen for 10 seconds mid game and rebooted apparently. I chose to leave. The slot machines state that if for any reason there is a malfunction it is not the casinos responsibility. I really don't care if I win or lose. I just want to have a good time. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I've gotten ignored while standing directly in front of a cashier at a restaurant. I've had a gas station cashier tell me that I can go somewhere else when I asked if there's pay at the pump why I still have to walk all the way in to "see cashier" in the rain, I've been misgendered over the phone by VIP services and hung up on and accused of "yelling" at him when trying to get my problem resolved rather than actually help me. And it all seems to stem from their younger Gen Z workers who apparently can't understand that VIPs spend a *lot* of money here and expect to be treated better than the way they treat us. If you are miserable and don't like your job, go elsewhere, but don't take it out on me. I'll go spend my money with people who actually appreciate it and treat me better. This review is for Rock N Brew restaurant. I arrived at the peak lunch hour. The restaurant is massive and I was surprised how empty it was. After my experience I have a better understanding as to why. The hostess that sat me never welcomed me or smiled. It was obvious that she did not enjoy her job. Once seated I was greeted by the server within a few minutes. She was friendly and proceeded to take my order. I ordered the Ultimate Burger, fries and a soda. The soda arrived in less than a minute and the burger and fries arrived in less than 10 minutes. The burger is charbroiled which brought out a really nice flavor. I requested that the meat be cooked medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The fries were freshly cooked and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I asked for ranch dressing for the fries. The ranch dressing was disappointing. It was watery and didn't even coat the fries. Overall value rating is 2 stars. Charging $26 for a burger,fries and a soda is insane for a casual dining restaurant. No wonder the place was empty during the peak lunch hour. Overall food quality rating is 4 stars. This last trip to Ilani was to celebrate my 61st birthday. We were really excited to make our journey to Ilani to experience some fine dining as well as do a little gaming and finally have a restful night sleep. When we arrived, a nice young man came out and opened up my door and helped me get our of the car. What service! Our rooms were comped as part of their monthly give aways for guests and as part of my birthday gift from the resort in general. We checked in about 12:30 PM. It was great to see Rhonda and Ronda again as they checked each of us in last time. Rhonda has been my go to person at the desk the last three years and she does a wonderful job. Always a smile and she remembers you if you've been there before. While my room wasn't ready, I was assured they would text me once it was. In the meantime, Dean took my bags and stored them in the bellmen's room. First disappointment...no one texted me to tell me my room was ready. About 4:45 PM I ventured back to the desk after several hours of gaming hoping my room would be ready. It was. And, it apparently had been for some time. Second shift forgot to get me the message. Upon entering my room, I found the previous guests had likely been smoking in the room. After calling the front desk, they offered to move me. Had my friend not been right across the room from me, I would have accepted. But she was on the gaming floor and I didn't want to create a headache for the desk staff. One nice and very polite gentleman came up to spray the room with some Lysol. The majority of the smoke smell was in the bathroom...likely because of the fan. Funny, I can't quite get that smell out of my nose. The front desk did the best the could without my moving so I was very happy with their response. Next, we had dinner at Bella Vista. BEST MEAL EVER. Our server was amazing and the discounts received for my birthday made it possible. Filet and Lobster. Dinner was amazing with great views from the 15th floor. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience. The menu selections are excellent with something for every discerning taste. The wine list impeccable the entire dining staff crew at the top of their game. Next, it was off to see the LaLa's, a burlesque show. While it wasn't exactly what I expected...the three guys in front of us blocked our entire view...even from the screens, we decided to leave after the third song. Seating was tight and when seated between some rather buxom bottomed ladies, it wasn't not comfortable. Still....we HEARD the show was great. Back out to the floor we went for more gaming. I'm happy to say we are now investors of Ilani. But we won very little. The payouts are slow to come and we found by only betting fairly high bets could you really win anything worth bragging about. Bonus rounds were hard to come by. Did we have fun? Absolutely. That's why we went...for fun. So if you expect to hit it rich, this casino will disappoint. Fun is the winner alone. Before our departure, we made a reservation at Line and Lure...a wonderful seafood dining establishment in the casino. Bruch is filled with delightful choices from seafood, to prime rib, omlets and eggs benedict. Our reservation was for 11:15. Upon arriving, we learned the only seats available were near the entertainment (never quiet enough to enjoy breakfast conversation) and the tables were tall and higher than the norm. My friend is rather short so we said we'd be happy to wait for a regular table in the back. They told us they would text us once the table was read. An hour went by with no word so my friend decided to check on our table. For whatever reason, they showed we'd been seated and completely had no intention of texting anyone about a table. My friend was quite upset but I took it with stride. Let me next say this...JULIE THE MANAGER IS INCREDIBLE. Having already dealt with me for a previous issue nearly two years ago, she still remembered me and I felt bad sharing we had yet another challenging experience. Julie is a consumate professional. She and her server Katy took great care of us. Throughout the meal, I watched Julie doing everything from clearning tables, to picking up items off the floor to serving food and beverages. In speaking with her server Katy, we learned she'd followed Julie to this establishment. What I witnessed wasn't the average duties of a manager. I witnessed the exemplary skills and teamwork of a LEADER. I'm a HR Manager and seeing the entire team working together...no job too far below or above, all doing what they could to get the work done. That was my lasting impression and it wow'd me. Thank you Ilani Resort. While we had some disappointing moments, we truly had a great time. It wasn't about the challenges we experienced, but more about the way your team handled them and themselves. Dinner at Longhouse restaurant. Absolutely the worst Chirashi sushi I have ever encountered by far. Rice was cold and very under seasoned. Fish was not of suitable quality for sashimi and was very poorly cut (some pieces were poke-sized bits, others were obviously suffering from freezer burn, and species selection was terrible - low cost product). They made no attempt to address my concerns - I had to order vinegar and salt to try to season the rice myself to ty to make it edible, but they only provided some bottled sushi vinegar in a small dish and did not even give me any salt. Chirashi price was $28 and green tea was just a cup of luke warm water and a tea bag for $5. Wait service was also not good. Waitress ended up comping the ea and reducing the price of the Chirashi by 25% but still atrocius for what was provided. read more

I have been coming to this establishment for at least 6 years. It is close to my home and a good place to go when it is too cold or too hot outside. I have an established line or credit for which I can use E-check to draft from my accounts. It is really sad that I cannot use kiosk/ATM machine to obtain money using my titanium, card. They consistently invite me to see the cashier to obtain funds, The method incurs a $6,00 fee if I get less than $500.00. {they stay broken) I would like to have the casino fix their equipment on the kiosk/ATM machines, The supervisor would not waive the fee even after I explained the situation. She was less than concerned about my objection to the fee and shrugged her shoulders when I mentioned the dilemma to her. The supervisor was a very pretty, short Asian woman today. I never had much desire to go here but a family member wanted to go to a restaurant here for their birthday and we ended up in the casino afterward. I was almost scared, definitely attracts a certain element of people that are not very classy. The flashing lights and noise all over, I couldn't deal with this for long. This establishment is absolutely disgusting. My grandfather, who has dementia and a gambling addiction, has been spending five thousands of dollars every month at this casino. The ATMs in the casino charge him $45 every time he gets money. If you look at his credit card statement he will get a $100 bill from the ATM 5 times in a day. You can easily see based on his transactions that he is addicted and incapable of making financial decisions I called the casino to try and get him banned, and they did absolutely nothing. This casino has no care for the people who bring in all of their money. They are taking advantage of old people.
