I especially love visiting during the winter months when the weather is cooler. It's the perfect time to slow down, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and have a little picnic with the kids. There are plenty of peaceful spots to sit, relax, and watch the peacocks walking around. The grounds are always clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. When you buy your tickets, you can also purchase bird food. We fed both the flamingos and the peacocks, and while it was a fun experience, here's my little tip--don't feed the peacocks from your hand unless you're ready for a pretty strong peck! I learned that one the hard way. There is also a small café, guided tram tours, and on weekends they often have live music, especially in the evenings or during holiday events. Around Christmas, the gardens are beautifully decorated with lights, making the whole place feel even more magical. If you're looking for a relaxing day surrounded by nature, Flamingo Gardens is definitely worth a visit.

The tram runs every thirty mins, definitely suggest taking that- learned all about the park via tour guide. Upon checking in, there are bags of animal food for purchase. So fun for the kids to engage with the flamingos etc. The animals who are roaming free aren't actually part of the garden, they are wild. So get ready to see some amazing ducks, flamingos and peacocks roaming around. We loved seeing all the different birds, alligators etc.

The music was on point and the crowd definitely leans younger, which made it super fun and lively. Everyone was dressed up and ready to dance. I also loved that they had food trucks outside perfect for grabbing a late night bite between drinks. Parking wasn't too bad either. There's street parking nearby, but I'd recommend getting there a little earlier since it fills up fast on busy nights. Overall, such a fun, upbeat vibe and perfect for a girls' night out. I'll definitely be back!

The outside area has a very backyard type five with a ton of different types of seating, including picnic tables and seating along the edge of the bar. It also has a ton of trees with lights and music as well as TVs with an outdoor bar that's inside of a van. The indoor bar is also very trendy with a disco ball type ceiling and DJ playing on certain nights of the week. The indoor bar also has a ton of room to order drinks and they have a really cool menu as well. I really enjoy the relaxed vibe at this venue gives because it doesn't rush you and make you wanna leave when the music is playing as some places get way too loud. I cannot wait to go back to rhythm and vine again soon because it was an enjoyable experience.

Karin the Edible Gardening Gal was referred to me by Marando Farms owner, Chelsea Marando. What a great thing to happen to me. I had just begun to grow my own food, and had no idea what was involved. Karin quickly got me up to speed and taught me everything she knows. We have the best time laughing and she never tires of my mistakes. We just simply, correct it. When I tell her I want to grow something, she allows me the space to try, even if she knows it will not work. She says, "the only way to learn is to try, and sometimes you fail, but sometimes you don't". I love that about her, because that's the sign of a true teacher passing on their wisdom, but allowing the student to find their own way. I just planted my raised bed garden at Marando Farms, for the third season, and Karin was right by my side, guiding me. What a great gift she has been to me and my edible gardening life. Thanks Karin.
