Skinny Pancake just not all that good. Crepes are very thick and dry, not like I was expecting. Choco Monkey (Nutella and banana) was overly sweet, way too sweet. The Johnny Crepe (bbq pulled pork, onions and cheese) was good flavor wise but the crepe was overcooked on one side and barely cooked on the other. It arrived about 7 minutes after the other meals at the table after I had to ask where it was. I think the cook forgot it. Not even sure of it was a cornmeal crepe, seemed like the same consistency as the sweet crepe. Overall a little slow for a Saturday around noon. I went on one of their first days of soft opening so obviously they are figuring out the kinks. I didn't realize it was 50 percent off until I got in there and ordered more..the people are very friendly but you can tell they are nervous which makes sense. The managers there that are just there for the soft opening seem very knowledgeable. The place gives very Vermont vibes, it's cute. The poutine was way too congealed and the cheese and gravy were not spread all over. The chicken tenders kid meals wasn't very much and the chicken was hard to chew through. My chicken Caesar wrap didn't have much to it but the wrap was good but the real winner was the chicken bacon ranch crepe. It was delicious and had a lot of filling. I am traveling for business and I wanted to grab something local for breakfast. The skinny pancake looked like it would be it. I walked in and the lady behind the counter told me to pick up a menu and have a seat. I was under the mistaken assumption that it was actually a full service restaurant. I sat there for 20 freaking minutes and nobody said anything to me. It wasn't until I saw other Guests picking up their menu and walking up and ordering that I realized I was an idiot. It was supposed to be doing the same thing. I was embarrassed and felt like absolute crap. My stomach was turning with hunger this entire time. I'm leaving a one star review because I think it's terrible that they were no signs explaining this and nobody came up to me. I didn't have a chance to try any of the food. The whole place has a I don't care attitude. If you're not from this area, how the hell are you supposed to even know this? I would not recommend. Went here for the first time today. The staff was pleasant, the restaurant was clean and cute. The food was flavorful, I got the pesto chicken my sister got the bacon, and my dad got the bbq chicken, all delicious. Although the portions felt a bit small. The main reason I'm not giving them 5/5 stars is because of the prices. They were astronomical, $70 for 3 crepes and 3 drinks. We mention we want a booth so they give us a table number we order and sit. Breakfast is served; it was awful. I asked for scrambled eggs loose they were so dry if I wasn't so hungry I would have tossed them. it was like a flat dry I guess a crepe place only know's how to make flat things even their scrambled eggs.
