I REALLY like this place!! Both of my daughters purchased their wedding dresses here. We've been to other places first, but both times ended up with the final dress here. The prices are really good. The inventory is fabulous. The people working here are very good, kind, and patient. They offer free little bottles of water and some candy. Some other places actually offered a bag of snacks which is REALLY nice, but those other places have more expensive wedding dresses. This place gave a small bottle of champagne which was a nice touch. They have a small selection of flower girl dresses which I didn't see the first time I was here. I don't think I saw any bridesmaid's dresses or mother of the bride dresses though which is unfortunate. Clean restroom. Plenty of free street parking. read more

I called looking for a very specific dress, with a very specific vision in a very small time frame. Lulu, the owner happened to answer the phone. She was so knowledgeable and moved mountains to get me in that same day even though they were booked solid. I drove from South OC-it was well worth the drive. The dress I was looking for happened to be in stock. Not all boutiques carry it or had availability, Upon arriving, she and the stylist were on it and had it ready to go. Ironically, we found an even better dress for an even better price! I can't rave enough at how great of an experience it was. They are super honest, very knowledgeable, thorough yet quick (in a great way). Alterations are done in house. They will create whatever you want and better than you imagined. The lady helping us - I don't know her name but she's the one that models the dresses on social media - was such a delight! Not sure how this place has such great reviews. The place was very nice I will give them that and the ladies that greeted us walking in were nice too. The issue was with the stylist and maybe we just got a bad one.. the biggest complain was she wasn't listening at all! Kinda funny because she made a comment stating " some people shouldn't be stylists" lol yeah she definitely fit that.. Very "I know what's best for you vibes " we showed her pics of what she had tried on else where that she liked. But she was not listening ‍ she also didn't assist my sister with putting on the dress, so I got up and tried too then I was told I wasn't able to help or touch the dress. So I responded with "Every where else we've gone they have assisted" she still didn't help but stood outside of the room. The vibe was off from the very beginning, she tried on 3 dresses which were ugly and not her size and definitely not what she was looking for. I don't remember her name but I'm glad that we had had an amazing appointment the day before elsewhere so we knew it was just bad customer service and that was not the place for us and again maybe we just got a bad stylist. Not sure but most definitely won't be going back. The area in Whittier was nice though, we shook off the disappointed feeling by having lunch and drinks at Kalaberas which was 5 stars .. lol read more

My daughter purchased a wedding dress from Illusion Bridal. The dresses were beautiful and the service was nice. The dress was delivered to the store in June and the alterations were completed a couple of weeks before the wedding in August. My only concern was with the communication of the alteration fees. We were originally quoted a much lower price for the alterations we requested. We were then asked to return a couple more times to complete alterations. We were never advised that the alteration fees would increase. When it was time to pick up the dress they charged us about $1000 for the alterations. My recommendation would be to include the alteration fees in writing so that everyone is on the same page and there are no misunderstandings at the end. I've noticed Illusion Bridal was the go to spot for a wedding dress & tbh I wasn't happy with the limited options they had with what I had in mind. I tried on different dresses just to see if I may like any but I was drawn back to the slit dress but was not overall "ecstatic" about it. My goodness, where do I begin with this review. First off, just pick your dress here. Send all your friends and family here. My WIFE (omg! I can say that now) came across this little boutique while in Whittier and she told me about it. The timeline was cutting close and I hadn't found any bridal boutiques to go to so my wife made an appointment for me to try some dresses on. I called a few different bridal stores and some didn't have appointments or their dresses started at minimum 5k..absolutely not in my budget, however, Illusional Bridal was starting at 1k...ooOkay, now we're talking. I came in with my sister and Julia, the absolute queen, helped me out. I told her my style and she picked out some dresses for me to try on. Julia was absolutely so sweet and helpful and I did not feel pressured one bit to pick something I didn't like. After trying on about 3-4 dresses, I picked the dress I absolutely knew would be the one. Julia placed the order for me and rushed it since my wedding was literally 3 months away. Julia also helped me find the perfect veil. Literally my dream veil. My dress arrived in store within a few weeks and Julia and her mom, Lulu, helped me get fitted. Lulu is literally the cutest and she fixed up my dress in a matter of two fittings..It fit perfect too! Come wedding day, my wife's goodies were looking amazing in THAT dress and I looked cute too lol. I came here because my friend had gotten her wedding dress and I had bought my bridesmaid dress here. I already had in mind the dresses I liked and was hoping to find the one. I came by myself because I didn't want to come with a large bridal party and made an appointment online. Another bride came with a large bridal party without an appointment and they helped her "because they thought it was me." I waited about 25-30 minutes to be helped and it was by a lady who was the seamstress. I don't think she paid attention to what I wanted. She basically got "stuck" with helping me. It just wasn't a pleasant experience, which is sad because I live in the area and was hoping to get a dress here. read more
