This place will never be the same after Dr. Mahajerani sold her business! Ever since she's been gone, I feel like I see a different dr. in there every time. I just don't get it--how come there's such a huge difference between optometrists?? I guess I was spoiled before cause I thought everyone was like Dr.M, but OH NO. I think either they are not honest or do not understand the business. I am starting to agree with Anthony and Carrie. I went to this place with my wife and she wanted to change the optometrist, close to our new house. She usually does research but I don't how she figured this place. Anyways, I followed my wife and decided to go there and I asked about my coverage and willingness for contact lenses. Immediately I am told that I can maximize my insurance coverage if I go for glasses (of course optometrist make more money that way too). Since my previous optometrist gave me 4 boxes of contacts, I asked if I get 4 boxes with them , plus eye exam. Answer was, this year insurance coverage has changed so I get only 1 box. I knew my insurance coverage was same as last year so I declined and stepped out. Next day, I get call from them that ACTUALLY they would give me 4 boxes. They did not understand the insurance very well. I would have gotten 1 box if my prescription had changed. At this point I was very confused and mad. Why prescription change would change 4 box to 1? It is not like it would have changed drastically. There was no explanation from their part either. Anyways, I figured I'd stick to my old optometrist. I have whole lot of doubts about these guys. read more

I went to Oakridge to go to Dr. Holberts and was unable to get in for an appointment so I was shopping when I came across Image. I immediately greeted and offered to be provided an appointment right away and was assisted in finding some lenses. The optometrist was very cordial and explained everything. When Naz helped me with the purchase afterwards, she went through all the pricing with me so there were no surprises. They got me in and out quickly and were personable and friendly. Horrible place. Don't go here. I gave them my old glasses to be updated with the new prescription. They told me 7-10 days and it has already been over a month and still no glasses. I have an infant at home and have to put in my contacts every time she wakes up at night. If I would have known how horribly long this place would take, I would never have gone to them. Not to mention, the Dr still called me Ma'am after my third followup visit within weeks if each other. Overall, the worst experience ever! read more

A group of really professional and helpful people. I needed a form filled out (the form readily available on the internet) and had forgotten to bring it to my eye appointment at a "chain" vision center right around the corner. Because having the form filled out with the eye exam was a crucial item (for me), I asked the "chain" if they could print one out. They told me they could not. So I knew of Image Eyecare and that they would take walk-ins, I took a chance. "Of course," they would run off a copy of the form, and "Yes," the doctor would perform the exam. The exam was thorough and the doctor was friendly and informative. I left with my form and am waiting for my new Versace eyeglasses to come in. I am most excited to experience the new "Transitions" technology that works even inside the car and is polarized. I was visiting from Massachusetts and lost my only pair of contacts today. After calling a couple of places in the area to see if any of these places could help me, I got in touch with the good folks down at Image Eyecare. They were, by far, the most helpful. I was able to get a new pair of contacts with the least amount of red tape possible. They were very accommodating and made sure that I received the best service. If I lived in the area, I would definitely consider making this my go-to place for my optometry needs based on the wonderful experience I've had. read more

Dr. Nguyen was absolutely wonderful. She clearly explained each process, easing any nerves I had from having only one other eye exam somewhere else that was an awful experience. She was so patient in answering every question I had. She was very kind and thoughtful in her explanations of what each test meant and what is necessary versus recommended for me moving forward. What a great place!!! I had not done my eye exam in so many years and when I went to Image Eyecare Optometry I was so pleased with the service of the staff and Dr. Mahajerani. Dr. Mahajerani maid me feel so comfortable and was the sweetest doctor ever. She took her time to explain everything clearly to me and listen to my needs. I recommend everyone who needs an eye exam to schedule an appointment with Image Eyecare. It does not matter if you do not have insurance, they are very considerate and recommend whats affordable. What i found so nice is that they did a free eye exam with the purchase of my glasses. i made an appointment on a sat morning and waited for an hour and still had not been seen by the doctor, and all that the front desk can tell me is that the doctor knows i am waiting outside and she had no idea that the office would be so busy that morning...why did i even bother making an appointment if they are letting anyone walk in. so i left, and soon i received a text message telling me i have an appointment that afternoon...seriously?? i dont think i will ever come to this place again. read more

I switched to IMAGE EYECARE after many years being a patient of a famous chain. I am so glad I made the change. I am being treated as if they know me for years. everyone is very freindly and Dr. Mohagerani is very exprienced, patient, and explains everything in details. Their staff are helpfull in choosing the right frame ,and i was pleasently surprised when they found and recommend a frame that looked great ,and was less expensive than the one I had in mind. they really took care of me . I will recomend them to all my freinds. The thing I liked the most is that they are open seven days a week,and conveniently located in Oakrige Mall,and I can pracically walk-in any time after work and evenings. read more

Messed up ln my prescription: Only the most important thing to an eyeglass wearer. They claimed they can't cancel the order or refund my money. They up-sell features like a used car lot. They threatened to call security because I voiced my concerns. No customer service to speak of. Avoid this place at all costs! They trick you into getting more testing while in the examination room. read more

My friend and I stopped in this store. I needed some new sunglasses and had just gotten a perscription from my doctor for bifocals. When looking nobody came over to help me, only later to get a shout from the desk. I did had several questions, but after a while walked out. As a consumer i have a choice in where i spend my hard earned money. The sales people should get up and come to me for assistance. No manager around that I could observe or I would have asked. The workers at the desk would rather chat than help me. We decided to check out Sunglass Hut. I bought 2 pairs of awsome sunglasses and they carry a much larger selection. Now I will go back to my doctor office to ask about my perscription bifocal questions, but not this place. read more

I just had an emergency situation needing a new contact. They took care of me immediately. Not sure a better eye care staff exists.

I walked into Image Eyecare and was greeted by a young lady behind the desk. I told her I wanted to purchase glasses and had my own prescription from another doctor. The other lady introduced herself as Karen and said she will help me find the perfect pair of glasses for me. Karen was very honest and did not say everything looked good on me and I really liked that. She was very professional and friendly. This is the most fun I have ever had picking out glasses. I also had the opportunity to meet the Dr Nguyen. Karen called her over to get an opinion on two pairs of glasses. She was very nice and did not mind giving me a few minutes of her time even though I did not get my exam there. I ended up buying two pair of glasses and will return next year for my exam and glasses. I also saw a person come in who did not even buy there glasses there and ask for new nose pads and needed there glasses refit. A young man came out of the back and helped this person and after the repair he said there would be no charge. Image Eyecare has great customer service and I will tell all my family and friends. read more

On a Friday last month, I hurt my left eye when doing some packaging work. At first I felt just a little bit of pain and thought it would be gone soon. However, on the following Saturday, around 7 pm, all of sudden I started losing my eyesight. My wife called several eye doctors, but only Dr. Nguyen at Image Eyecare Optometry answered, all the others were either closed or nobody picked up the phone. On that day, Dr. Nguyen was supposed to close her office at 7:00 pm and it was almost 6:55 pm when we called. But she still told us that she would wait for us. We arrived at her office around 7:15. Dr. Nguyen was so nice! At first, I was thinking she might just tell me everything is fine and let us go quickly because it was late. But indeed she did a thorough examination on my eyes, told me what the problems were with my eye, and gave me treatments and prescriptions, it was almost 8:00 when we left her office. My eyesight fully recovered several days later. If it weren't for her, much worse things would happen to my eye. Thank you for saving my eye, Dr. Nguyen! read more
