Took my son to this location. I usually never have a problem with the Balltown road location. The…read morewoman up front told me to put a mask on my son (even though they're optional). So we did. The check in women had no personable skills. Her customer service wasn't very nice. Then, we get walked into a room that had crumbs on the table. Obviously it wasn't wiped down, prior to us. The nurse came in and scared my son with the swab stick, told him she was swabbing and he would gag. Scared the crap out of my 6 year old the way she said it. He opened his mouth she attempted to swab, he moved and she said, "don't touch my hand in a rude voice". Unbelievable, the staff here. The dr came in and she seemed personable but only comment was that her hair wasn't groomed which made sense why the cleanliness of the room wasn't made important before arrival. I do not recommend this location at all.

We went to the Urgent Care in the early afternoon after my 2-year old son cut his chin, It was…read morerelatively minor and a clean cut, but would need to be closed. I checked into the Urgent Care Center and then waited over 2 hours in the waiting room before seeing anyone. They did not triage anyone who registered, it was just first-come, first-served. People with sore throats were seen before my son, who was bleeding all over the place. When we finally got into an exam room, the nurse (who was less than friendly) washed his chin and told me that the doctor would be in soon. A few minutes later, a PA shows up and proceeds to tell me that she can't glue his chin because the tissues were too swollen and would need to be trimmed (in my opinion, probably as a result of waiting so long), that my son will need stitches and that she doesn't do trimming or stitches and there was no doctor in the office. So, after waiting ~2 1/2 hours to finally see any medical personnel, they tell me that I have to go to the ER instead. If they actually did TRIAGE when I first got there (like any other Urgent Care or ER I've ever been to), they could have referred me immediately to the ER and I could have saved a lot of time and money since they also billed me for doing absolutely nothing but telling me I needed to bring him somewhere else. (On a side note, the Ellis ER got us in and out in about 30 minutes). I would avoid this Urgent Care, there's a total lack of process or organization and the staff is less than friendly. I guess it's ok if you have a sore throat or congestion, but beyond that, they seem incapable of taking care of minor medical problems that shouldn't require a trip to the ER.

The front desk staff was fine. The tech and the PA were both friendly and listened. My situation was simple, and I was out 10 or 15 min after I arrived.

She's an outstanding provider. She treats the mind, body, and soul of each patient rather than just their diagnosis. This is a great quality to have as a doctor and it makes a huge difference. I would recommend Internal Medicine & Linda to anyone. I was nervous changing providers but switching to Linda is like a breath of fresh air. My old doctor does not even compare to Linda. All of the nurses at this location are excellent as well. Being a nurse myself I always expect for the nurses to be exceptional and at this location they are nothing less than that. I was very happy with my visit and my experience. They also have an online portal that you can sign up for and review all of your labs, appointments, make/change/cancel appointments, request prescription refills, etc. Wicked convenient. Instead of making a thousand phone calls all of the information you need is just a few clicks away. I took away one star because the parking isn't optimal.
