I cannot say enough amazing things about our first experience at Imagix Photo Studio with Michelle back in December 2023!! It was the first time my little family and I had taken professional in studio photos and the process couldn't have gone any smoother. Michelle had exceptional communication from the start, and was extremely understanding the day of our shoot, as my daughter was 6 months old at the time. We texted to let her know we were going to be arriving a little late, and she was very sympathetic of our situation and the fact that we had such a young baby at the time. She worked with us, and made sure we still had enough time to get through all the poses, and we didn't feel rushed at all (even though she had a client coming in for the next appointment right after us)! From the start of the shoot we noticed the most beautiful backdrops for Christmas, and her studio was very clean and professional! Michelle was very welcoming and friendly upon our arrival, and gave us a few minutes to get our daughter fully ready with finishing touches to her outfit. She walked us through how the process worked and how many poses we would be doing. Michelle was EXTREMELY helpful when it came to helping us with exactly how to pose for every single picture! Which is amazing because my husband and I always struggle with posing for pictures lol! She did wonderful with our daughter as well who was very tired and fussy that morning after only having a 10 minute nap on the car ride over. Michelle was able to get her to smile and laugh for pretty much every picture, and we were so happy with how she was able to capture our baby girls big bright smile! She made the process super easy, fun, enjoyable, and very memorable! It was such a smooth and efficient process that didn't take too much time, which was perfect since our baby girl was so young. When we came back the following week to review our photos we were absolutely OBSESSED and loved every single picture!!! So much that we even added on more photos to our package lol we basically purchased all of the photos! The quality, color, lighting, everything was exceptional. The pricing is also affordable and worth every penny. We also purchased Christmas cards that came out beautifully! Our family and friends loved all of the photos just as much as we did! We feel so grateful to Michelle that we now have these beautiful and special memories to look back on with our daughter in the future! We're so excited to come back and take pictures for Holiday 2024! We even have a session scheduled to take 18 month pictures of our baby girl. I'm so glad we found Imagix Studio. We wanted to take promotion cap and gown photos of our kindergartener. Called and was able to set up a same day appointment. Once inside the studio, I noticed many different props. We chose the cap and gown, of course, along with a bow tie to finish the look. The session went smoothly, and the photographer interacted very well with our kindergartener. She was able to get so many good NATURAL smiles. We took my daughter's high school Senior photos here and Imagix Photo Studio was amazing! Michelle the photographer took so much time to make sure she got a great shot, she smoothed hair, fixed garments and was patient getting a good smile. It was obvious she cared about getting a beautiful photo. We chose the Senior package which was cap & gown and another outfit. Michelle said she has some cap & gown to rent, but we just purchased the cap & gown on amazon and it was under $20. There were a lot of different backgrounds to choose from. The same day, Michelle had the sample pics ready for us to choose! Then a few weeks later, we went back to pick up the final prints. We also ordered 2 digital prints. We did find the photo studio a little hard to find, so give yourself a few extra minutes before your session. It's in a strip mall but parking was no problem. Seriously, the photos are beautiful and we cannot recommend Imagix Studio enough. I also thought Michelle was very friendly and we felt comfortable through the whole process. A++ read more

Gonna make it short. My 18 month had some photos done during Easter. Just one outfit that she wore. The back room has lots of cute props and backgrounds for Spring. My kiddo did pretty well considering she was skipping her nap for this, and we had a lot of real cute photos. We took photos on Friday, and were able to choose what photos we liked on Saturday, and then the following Saturday after we picked them up. I think the photos were a bit blown out since her dress was light blue and now it looks nearly white, but otherwise they managed to pull out some real cute poses by distracting her with shiny Easter eggs and she also enjoyed lounging on the baby couch that was there while they prepared different sets. 5/5 would photo shoot again. read more

Told my boyfriend to retake his first passport photo picture because I didn't like how the the first person from a different place did it. They used a point to shoot camera with lighting that made his face look very oily. He didn't really mind, but we still went to a different location. Made an appointment at this location (Imagix) and came in a little late, but they still let us in. Just from walking in, we can tell this was already better than our first spot. During the shoot, she used a DSLR with good lighting set up. She told him to change his posture, fix his hair, etc. Took about 5-7 shots and had us choose which one we liked better. As you can tell from the top picture (Michelle from Imagix) vs the bottom picture (diff location), that it looks a lot more professional and better. We got our pictures done by Michelle from Imagix. Dirty, cluttered and smelly -- The last thing you wanna say is "CHEESE" because you already smell it in the air. Went in for PASSPORT PHOTOS, Walgreens is better for half the cost OWNER, Michelle: Rude, indifferent and unprofessional Takes forever to text back to schedule an appointment. Has a nasty passive-aggressive attitude in person. Not a talented individual; floods pictures with light. Treats certain people better than others. After she took my pictures, I asked her to display them on a monitor instead of the little screen in the back of her camera so I could get a better look. She refused even though she had just done that for the client before me. STUDIO - Though it's big, it's beyond messy. There's no area to fix your self up before the pictures. If you want a mirror you need to go to the nasty restroom all the way in the back. She laid a dirty slab of cardboard as a background. When she says "smile" it's almost a joke because the whole set up is so uncomfortable and gross. This place DOES NOT bring the best out of you. It was all a waste of time, when you walk in (if you make it that far) trust your intuition upon first impressions. read more

My mom and I went in for passport photos after work. It was near closing time and I felt so bad, but the photographer/owner was so kind. Even though we didn't have an appointment and we walked in later in the day, she was still professional and still put in all her effort to make our photos good. She took the time to fix my hair and took multiple photos to ensure we looked good. She offered to stay late so that we could come back and have our photos the same day, but I would've felt too bad, so I came back another day. But the lady that helped us was very accommodating. It was hard to pick which poses to go with for the package we selected, as the different shots all turned out really well. I was a new resident in the Bellflower area back in September 2023 and was in need of some passport photos ASAP for my Japan trip. I did not want to get them from Walgreens and thankfully I stumble upon this studio on my google search. Words can not even explain how happy I was to be back in this place!!! Back in junior high, my friends and I loved coming to cerritos to take Imagix photos together. We have sooo many photos that we've kept over the years and it's always been good memories that we are constantly bringing back up or posting on ig for each others birthdays! I'm getting married this year and my friends decided to surprise me with a photo shoot session and I literally had so much fun recreating some of our old photos as well as creating some new ones. Imagix was SOOOO easy to work with as always! I love that she knows exactly what to do with posing us and is constantly helping us adjust our head or hair or arms so that everyone looks good and that the photos come out as perfect as ever! I love all of her backdrops and switching from one to the next was so quick and fluid! To top it off she has so many different types of seating and props you can use for a themed shoot, baby shoot, graduation shoot, family photos and so much more! I literally love how our photos came out and I can't wait to come back! I called CVS and Walgreens to ask about their passport services but the automated system kept redirecting me. I had to call several times before finding out the price and how long it would take. I used Google Maps to search 'passport photos' and this location popped up. I called and asked about the prices and hours -- was pleased -- and drove right over. I was greeted by Michelle; she's friendly and accommodating. After paying she asked if I needed the form and she gave it to me for free! Next, she takes me to where she'll be taking the photos. She helped create the perfect image by making a few adjustments before taking the pictures. Once we were done she said it would take approximately 25 minutes. I had an absolutely great time taking photos. I was in a pinch and Michelle was able to squeeze me in. When I arrived she was incredibly kind and showed me a variety of packages. They had some pre-made for students and others for other occasions so if you're not quite sure what you're looking for they make it easy. I even made adjustments to the package after I had taken some photos. If there was any confusion or changes that I wanted to make, Michelle was wonderful and accommodating at explaining. She listened and understood what I wanted, but also demonstrated what she knew looked best for the most optimal photos. The photo process was very relaxing. I'm not, or feel like I'm not, very photogenic; however, Michelle guided me throughout the entire process. She was very attentive to even the smallest drift of my clothes, head, shoulders, or hands. We go to Imagix for our family portrait almost every year. For the first Christmas after I had my third baby, we took our family picture and framed it to hang on our photo wall. The portrait has all my kids (ages 4, 2, and 10 months old) smiling and looking at the camera. It came out so well that every time we have guests over we get huge compliments! Michelle is really great with kids, she had lots of toys to entertain my kids during the photo session. She is so patient, professional and makes the photo sessions fun and enjoyable for the kids and us. We took the portrait in her previous location and have been to her new location on Pioneer and Artesia blvd which is so beautiful. She is very skillful in enhancing the photos to look even nicer.
