My Mom and her new car!
    Lisa W.

Scott was amazing! I called the dealership when looking for a vehicle for my Mother. Her husband had passed and they had a leased vehicle in his name. Budget was a big concern. We got a great deal and Scott made my Mom comfortable which was most important to me.

Good price for an oil change.

Professional sales staff and friendly atmosphere. I got a very good deal on a used vehicle and would shop there again.

Always great customer service! I have a dealer in my town but it's worth the trip to be treated like a person not a number.

No, the Escape is not even close to a Tahoe, which I loved, have I told you how much I love the Tahoe, but it's not the worse car ever & it will work for 2 years.

The salesman said "The office girls have gone home for the night, so I can't change it right now. Go ahead and sign this one and we'll just correct it in the morning." I clearly must have forgotten to wash the word "STUPID" off of my forehead that morning. When I refused to sign it, he miraculously was able to find someone in the office to correct the paperwork. Looking back, I should've just walked out the door, but I was younger and less wise then. Proving that I am indeed stupid, I took my Ram back there three times for service. The first two issues, a transmission failure and lifter replacement, were covered under warranty. Both repairs were questionable, but since it was under warranty, I'll admit that I was less skeptical than I would have been had I been paying for the repair. The third time was for a complete front-end suspension replacement to the tune of $1100. When I picked the truck up, the problem still existed and was VERY noticable. I asked if they'd even test driven the truck after the repair and they insisted that they had. How they didn't notice the wild wobble is beyond me. Anyway, the problem turned out to be loose lugnuts on the right rear tire caused by Penske not proper tightening them after they'd installed new tires on the truck the day before. Diagnosing loose lugnuts on a rear tire as a front end suspension problem *could* have been an honest mistake, but it's enough to keep me from going back. I've run into other people in the area who have had similar sales and repair experiences with Crandall, so I'm inclined to believe that shady business practices are the norm here.

I brought my Charger in because there was a squeaking noise coming from the back end. From the very…read morebeginning, I was pretty unimpressed with the service department. I waited about 8 hours and got no call back about the car. The staff there took no initiative to make sure I was kept informed about my repair status the entire time they had the car. When they finally did call back, the woman giving me the estimate was just frankly telling me prices on stuff and told me they needed to do a ton of work totaling over $2400 on the car. I was given a "well that's the price" attitude when I questioned the costs. The service manager (Lisa) was better. At least she had the power to bend on the prices a bit. Just like every other aspect of a car dealership, prices are negotiable. She did go above and beyond to make sure my mess of an estimate was taken care of the day I brought the car in. The next day was absolutely wasted. I wanted to come up and look at the steering components and brake pads they wanted to replace. I drove 7 miles to get there, and the same woman from the previous day didn't bother to inform the mechanics that I wanted to look at stuff. When I got there, the car was assembled in the lot and I had basically wasted the effort in driving up there just to be strong-armed into saying "yes, do the repairs" without reviewing the parts they wanted to replace. I made them promise to save the brake pads for me so I could take a look at them after the fact. They also were talking about replacing 16 lug nuts. I told them to replace the one that needed it, and no more. The parts came in the next day (day 3 at this point), and I waited all day for a phone call that never came. Finally, I decided to call them up about 30 minutes before closing, and I was told they would call me right back. I got a call at 5 minutes to close saying "Your car is ready. You can come pick it up tomorrow." That's funny because I wanted to pick it up TODAY. I asked if it was at all possible to pick up that day, but apparently it's too much to ask for her to stay 5 minutes past closing on a Friday, considering I could have been up there a half an hour before if she had just called me back when she was supposed to. When I came back in the morning, they grabbed my paperwork and took it to the cashier. I was almost $200 over the estimate. I had to go back to the service counter to figure out what happened. They had ordered, replaced, and billed me for 16 lug nuts at roughly $150. I had to sit there while they corrected it. It was work I hadn't authorized. They also just completely forgot about the trunk strut I wanted replaced. So I left the place with another broken thing I'd asked to be repaired just not done... And they didn't give me my brake pads back, so I wasn't even able to review the one thing I'd ask to review. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the repair work was done well. Customer service is basically non-existent, though. I miss Crandall. They actually gave a crap.

I called the dealership and made an appointment to come in on Saturday to have it taken care of. Marco, the general manager, met me and told the service manager to fix whatever was wrong, no cost to me. The vehicle didn't have a warranty on it (which I was aware of) but they took great care of me. My wife is due for a new vehicle soon and we will be going here to get it. Customers for life.
