When my Silverado threw a code, they got it in right away. The truck was 1,000 miles out of warranty. Milnes took it upon themselves to contact GM who agreed to cover 80% of the cost. Avoid this dealership at all cost. I bought a 2017 Ford Escape from them and they knew it had issues and their pathetic warranty they gave me didn't cover any of them. The night I bought it we took it for a test drive with the salesman that sold it to me and I smelled gas the salesman said it was cause it had sit for a bit before I bought it and said if there were any issues that the warranty they gave me would cover it laughing my ass off because it didn't come to find out it had a mouse nest and they said that was the problem well it wasn't after they supposedly removed it I still smelled gas well I took it to my mechanic and he found out it had a broken valve cover so there warranty wouldn't cover it so it cost me $238 dollars to replace it because there sister store is a ford dealership they wanted $150 + $778 so I went to my mechanic cause $238 is way better than what they wanted Milnes only gave me $119 of what I paid for the repair then I thought the transmission was going out well it wasn't I took it to Ford dealership they found out that it had a bad coil and plug's needed replaced there was $149.99 to get it diagnosed I went back to my mechanic it came out to cost me another $165 because Ford dealership wanted $668 to do it there so again I chose my mechanic it was much cheaper so I've had my car a little over a month and it's been in the shop most every week for something or another also when they cleaned the supposed mouse nest the loaner they gave me was a beat the hell out of Jeep that was nasty dirty when I would hit the smallest bumps in the road it would feel like I hit a tree it smelled so bad and in my opinion was unsafe to drive. So all together I paid around $16,500 for my car which in my opinion was about $3,000 over priced for all I have gone through with it I also now found out the front strut needs replacing and that's expensive I can't afford to get it fixed right now. It's hard to pay for repairs on a vehicle constantly and payments and insurance when you live on a fixed income. Also the salesman that sold me the car got extremely extremely rude with me so nasty that when I left I was crying I asked to deal with somebody else and the let me talk to somebody else twice then put me back with that jerk.I mean I had my car 2 days and already was scheduling with repairs to get it fixed it's been in the shop 6 or 7 times since December 26th to February 1st. So if your looking to buy a new or used vehicle do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unless you like being taken. I wish I could put no stars this dealership is absolutely terrible..... read more

Would not recommend having your vehicle serviced here. GM has a policy if a vehicle is certified used and if it needs to be serviced while under that warranty then GM will provide a loaner/ rental at their own expense. This dealership has had my car over a week and all but refused to offer me a loaner. The service manager seemed to want to avoid it all costs and stated that it would come out of their dealerships pocket. If this dealership is so concerned with their budget maybe cut the cost of your service manager and pay someone younger half his wage. Never cut costs when it comes to customer service. The end result of my experience here was getting banned from getting serviced here again. Does not take much apparently... I didn't even go off. Terrible customer service though so I wouldn't come back even if I weren't banned. read more

Me and my fiancé bought her vehicle from Milnes around the same time last year. Originally when I bought it the paperwork got screwed up and my interest rate doubled. I addressed the problem and they fixed it the best they could and I appreciated it. Its been in the shop multiple times throughout the year. Its had the transmission replaced, alternator, power steering pump, and the timing chains. It was very frustrating because the transmission was slipping a month or two after we bought it. I have kept my patience thrpughout the years and the hundreds of dollars ive spent at milnes when I noticed my oil to be low. I took it in November 20 and was told that day it needed pistons. So mike from service got in contact with my warranty company and I told him to keep me updated. I did not receive any sort of update. I called the following Monday November 26 to see if there was any update, and was told they were going to send an adjustor out to confirm that was the issue. and if the adjustor determined that wasnt the issue id have to pay out of pocket for the engine tear down. Which was okay I gave him the approval, it was really bothersome he didnt call to ask me, when it sat there for a week with nothing being done. so throughout the week I called mike and he was having problems with the adjustor, mike said the adjustor never came out and Thursday I asked him if my engine was torn apart and he said yes. so I thought well the adjustor has to be out soon. My fiancé gets a call Monday December 3 morning from the service manager so I call him back and he proceeds to tell me that his heavy tech walked out on friday, and that he was not going to be able to fix my car. I thought to myself crap my engines all torn apart and nobody can fix it. he then tells me I can drive it to another dealership for them to work on. and I asked if my engine was torn apart and he said no, I also learned that the adjustor did come out but they were not ready for him. So we ended up picking up the car and taking it to another dealership after it sat at Milnes Chevy there for two weeks with nothing being done to it. they have dried out my patience. And after being lied to I will not be bringing my vehicles or recommending anyone to go there. read more

I've been dealing with this dealership and service department for over 6 months. Every issue I had to take my car in for ended up in having to take it back to be redone (they didn't do it right the first time, or made it worse) The service department was terrible, never had the parts and didn't fix the problem properly, they promised to call me back (that never happened). They had my car for 2 months waiting for parts and still didn't get the parts. The manager stated he would fix the issue, he never called back. I had to call every time to get an update on my car. Then his solution was to get me into a lease which was more than my current payment. The customer service, and service department was terrible. I have never dealt with such terrible service, and will never go there again. After talking to other customers while waiting its not just me. What a disappointment to spend so much money and time investing in a car to have this happen. I would give them negative stars if possible. read more

I took my Trail blazer in for a recall while it was at the dealership my cargo cover came up missing and my battery was switched out for an older battery. When I contacted the dealership and talked to the service manager John about what had happened he refused to make things right and told me he was done with me. I have never been treated so bad. I brought the Trail blazer from Milnes and they were great but be very cautious if you use the Service Department. I bought my very first car from here a month ago! I wanted something affordable and was nervous because I didn't want to be up-sold. The experience I had here was so warm. Joe Janssen was my salesman and he showed me a few cars and we test drove a couple. He was able to negotiate with me and literally put me in the vehicle that fits my personality. After a month, I'm still satisfied and the excitement of being a first car owner hasn't wore off. Milnes is a very friendly dealership. I was able to meet the manager and he personally shook my hand. The finance manager made the awkward process of money talk, easy! I drove 3 hours to check out cars here after my friend had bought his car here and recommended Joe. I wish I would have read these reviews before I gave the dealership business purchasing a very expensive truck here. Like a few others I have had nothing but problems with the service department and finally the owner Brooke Milnes. We purchased a 2017 Chevy Silverado special edition here - the purchasing process went pretty smooth but once you have the car/truck they forget who you are. We have had many issues with the truck and it has never been resolved. I get multiple notifications on the dash computer but the service techs never can seems to figure it out. When we purchased the truck we were sold the extended warranty because I drive a lot and according to the service department that warranty doesn't cover anything. I was told that they would have to get repairs approved and they may or may not approve it. We have been dealing with "reduced engine power' warning and the truck will not accelerate - they told me they cannot find anything wrong with the truck - even though OnStar has sent critical service emails and I have taken pictures of the dashboard messages. My turn signal has been saying it fails and the service department said its working it just blinks fast - nope no turn signal. I received a critical error stating that the "steering is reduced drive with caution' in the middle of my commute to work. I called and brought the truck in again and was assured they would find and fix the problem. They did not contact me but when my husband called they said they had fixed the problem and we had to pay 30.00 upon arrival we received a bill for 75.00 when questioned we were basically met with no explanation. I wanted to know why it was one thing over the phone and a different in person. I paid the bill and we were told Brooke Milnes would contact us the next day. Well today on my commute to work not only did the check engine light come on but the "reduced steering ' "service trailer brake" and "no parking assist came on" . Not only was that infuriating but the "owner" Brooke Milnes called and was the rudest , most condescending person I have ever had the pleasure of talking to. I work in customer service and she apparently missed everyday of class. She never asked about the car or the lack of it being able to be repaired , but instead accused us of harassing her service department - I guess asking why they can't fix the truck they sold me (brand new over 50,000.00) is harassment. Then she told us good luck finding someone to fix it. Wow - I was taken aback by her attitude - never ever would I recommend this dealership or service department. read more

I had a terrible experience at Milnes they had a used 07 escalade for sale so i called and talked to the internet sales manager Mike he gave me a few specifics and said the truck was in excellent shape and told me he would give it an 8or 9 outa 10 rating so i drove 5 hours to see this escalade in excellent shape so when I arrived only to find an escalade in terrible condition and the rims were so eatin up they needed replaced along with the truck being filthy and unkept on the inside so i was very unhappy and basically the sales man coulda cared less so my advise dont buy from milnes thanks read more

I bought a certified 2011 2500 pick up truck in June 2014 the very next day the check engine light came I took it to the nearest GM dealer they've been informed me the vehicle had been submerged in mud for six months this truck sat at the dealership why they tried to fix the problems I finally got the dealership to take the vehicle back when I stated that I would call the local news media about selling A flood vehicle under a bogus title, I recommend everybody steer clear of Milnes Chevrolet. read more
