We wanted to try something new and immersive, so we booked our visit online for the 6pm time slot on a Sunday night. This location is inside Stonestown Galleria on the 1st floor next to Target. When we arrived, it was around 5:30pm and the mall was super busy. Parking is always a challenge here so if you plan on visiting, plan on arriving early. We checked in with the lady as soon as we walked in. She was very friendly and helped us get started. We put on these hats with sensors on it. You can adjust them to fit your head. There were several rooms inside and it's very spacious. There is a bathroom inside Gamebox so you don't have to walk all the way to the mall's food court to use it. There are several games to choose from: Batman, The Floor is Lava, Squid Game and you can play up to 5-6 people (I think) I could be wrong so please check the website. We booked to play Squid Game for 60 mins which cost me $104 for 3 people. The game was challenging and it was that day when I learned that I wouldn't last in a real Squid Games challenge (lol). I loved the fact that it was interactive. You will get a work out playing this game. My hubby, my son, and I had so much fun! Cant wait to go back!

We went here for a 10 y.o. Bday party and had a wonderful time. It was easy to book online. The staff was super nice! We paid for a party package, which I'm glad was a deal because they didn't end up having decorations and the cupcakes were generic from a store. The kids devoured the pizza though, and there was plenty. They made sure that I could just show up with the kids and leave without having to worry about anything which is amazing! The kids had a BLAST playing the Box Party for the full hour, with games such as milking cows and climbing trees. It was so fun (and quiet outside the Gamebox) to watch as an adult too. Other parents can't wait to come back and play with their kiddos and obviously the kids gave rave reviews. Parking was ample at Stonestown, and the facilities were kept very clean, including the bathrooms. This place rocks!

Definitely a lot of fun!!! Check in was easy. Explanation of rules were just ok, it takes a while for you to figure out the huddles but once you get it you got it. I like how everyone got a turn and you got to play solo and as a team. Definitely a great activity for team building or fun times with friends and family.

Fun experience. Booked online. Don't forget to take advantage of the Yelp discount. Checked in and signed a waiver. You can bring in outside beverages but they also sell some basic drinks in case you get thirsty. They will bring you to your room and give you instructions on how to navigate. We did squid games. Between the 2 of us. The competition was fierce. Don't have super high expectations as it wasn't super high tech. Make your own fun and try to come out at the top lol. Would I come back again? Once was enough for me but I can see how some peeps might become regulars.

Although he is a great friend of mine, crime is something I will NOT stand for. Stealing from such a great park is not fair to employees and paying customers. His steals consisted of four keychains, three from The Flash, and one from Batman, all of these keychains combined cost a grand total of over $30, which is simply an outrageous amount to steal. You'll have to sign again at the register, but it will save you a bunch of time when you arrive. Ok...for our experience. It can feel a little overwhelming when you first arrive if you haven't been there before. Having people walk in, with their own helmets, acting like they own the place will have anyone unsure where they should go or do when they first arrive. The staff make it feel very welcoming and friendly. After I finished check-in, I felt like the people with their own helmet. Tyrez helped me at check-in. He was patient, professional and friendly. When I say patient, I mean PATIENT! I had four kids with me and when it came to head covers alone, he got everyone what they needed even though I had to prompt the kids multiple times to come to a decision. We got there, but it was rough and Tyrez was amazing throughout! He even explained everything to me so that I wouldn't be caught off guard by anything and wouldn't end up frustrated...or at least that is how it felt. Next, know this. When they are running adult races, it's loud in the track area. Because I work safety, I have my watch set to alarm me when the sound exceeds the OSHA permissible exposure limit. It went off a lot. So, I measured the sound. It can get above 100 decibels. That's loud. Not as loud as a rock concert or fire truck siren, but it will make it difficult to have a conversation. You may want to consider ear plugs...or ear buds with noise canceling. The races are run very efficiently and they alternate between youth and adult groups. One safety feature the do great is that they are never on the track, together, at the same time. Safety seemed like it was well managed. When impacts happen, they throttle down the carts, to ensure everything is safe. One note though...and I see this as a huge positive...they let you RACE! Yes, they pay attention and focus on safety, but they don't scold or stop because of a little inadvertent contact. I was truly impressed by the balance they maintain there. In my group of four, two were a little scared and didn't race all the races we purchased (I bought the SpeedPass for each and it seems like a really good package for first timers), but they were amazing at helping me re-assign them to the others in our group. Luis helped me there and again, he was patient with me and helped ensure we got everything transferred correctly. He also answered all 5,000 of my questions throughout our visit. No, not really 5,000, but there were a lot. He was amazing! If I had any criticism at all, it would be for the game area. Many of their games weren't working because of a network error. It was disappointing for me, but it hit the kids hard. They should have someone dedicated to that area as it was never empty while we were there. I would imagine that having all working correctly would result in increased revenue. Overall, we had an amazing adventure there today and Tyrez and Luis were part of the reason why. Their track team was the other part...I just wasn't able to get their names. If you're looking for a new adventure, this is an amazing way to spend a Saturday!!!

Visited on July 3, 2026. We visited Gilroy Gardens after spending quite a bit of time researching…read morethe park and reading about its accessibility accommodations. Based on what was advertised, we expected a welcoming, family-friendly experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't what we encountered. The issues started before we even entered the park. After paying for parking, we were directed to a distant lot and faced a long walk to the entrance. Despite large crowds, there didn't seem to be any staff available to answer questions or help direct guests. We had purchased tickets online ahead of time to make entry easier, but ended up standing in one very long line where many guests were confused about whether it was for prepaid tickets, security, or both. It eventually became clear that everyone was funneled through the same process. The lack of organization made for a frustrating start to the day. The security screening also seemed inconsistent. Some guests were told to throw away drinks, while others brought in large meals and glass containers without issue. Clear and consistent policies would go a long way toward reducing confusion. Once inside, we stopped at the Welcome Center to inquire about accessibility accommodations. The process was surprisingly minimal. We were handed a paper pass and told to take it to each attraction. Based on the information on the website, we expected a more thoughtful and supportive system. At our first ride, we were given a return time and told that if we were more than 15 minutes late, the accommodation would no longer apply. That policy felt unnecessarily rigid. When we returned at the designated time, we were directed to wait at the exit gate in a crowded area where guests were constantly passing by. After everyone else boarded, staff seemed confused about our return time and had to figure out where to place us. One of the most disappointing moments involved a mobility device that staff would not recognize as an approved accessibility aid. Despite explaining its purpose, we were told only traditional wheelchairs qualified. The interaction felt inflexible and lacking in understanding, and it significantly impacted the rest of our visit. Later, we headed to Water Oasis and struggled to find a family restroom or accessible changing area. Restroom lines were extremely long, and the area itself felt overcrowded and poorly managed. There was very little staff presence, nowhere quiet to sit, and no one available when guests were cutting lines or creating issues. There was no space for my child to play and no occupancy limit of any sign. Not fun or safe for anyone. After less than two hours, we decided to leave. Before exiting, I stopped by the Welcome Center to share feedback about our experience. During the conversation, the employee assisting me appeared to smile or suppress laughter while I was explaining our concerns. Whether intentional or not, it came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I was told a supervisor would come speak with me, but no one ever showed up. What made this even more frustrating was seeing a large group of employees gathered near the exit saying goodbye to guests while assistance inside the park was so difficult to find throughout the day. I understand that no amusement park experience is perfect, and I'm not leaving this review simply because the day didn't go as planned. My disappointment comes from the gap between what Gilroy Gardens advertises and what we actually experienced. Accessibility is more than handing out return-time slips. It requires well-trained staff, reasonable flexibility, accessible facilities, adequate staffing, and a genuine commitment to helping all guests feel welcome. We invested time, money, and a lot of anticipation into this visit, and unfortunately left feeling disappointed. Based on our experience, this was the least accommodating amusement park we've visited. I hope Gilroy Gardens takes guest feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements, because there is a lot of potential here. As it stands, we won't be returning.

Our grandson was very excited and the first thing we did was attend the puppet show and saw "The Magic Tea Kettle". After that we let him wander around and explore the park and he loved the Dragon Slide and went on multiple times, rode the Merry Go Round a couple of times, the Jolly Trolley before it got busy, The Alice in Wonderland tunnel, Clocktower Slide, Willie the Whale, Ching Lung the Happy Dragon, The Three Little Pigs (but one was missing), The Jolly Roger Pirate Ship and the Ansi's Magic Web, saw the donkeys, ducks, tortoise, chickens, goats. We also ate lunch at cafe and shared chicken nuggets, chicken panini sandwich and chicken quesadilla which were healthy and delicious!
