I love going to this imos! They always make my food just how I like it and the staff is always quick to get my food out. I tried the cauliflower pizza for the first time last night and I definitely will be getting it again. I may even like it more than the regular crust!! The red hot riplet wings are definitely my favorite since they started selling them and will be getting them a lot for the duration of them being here!

"When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore." That is my Yelp tagline. When I heard St. Louis has their styled-pizza, I knew I had to make a pitstop. What I ordered: 10 INCH PIZZA LUNCH SPECIAL - One-topping Pizza, Side salad or garlic bread, and a Drink - So what makes a pizza a St. Louis-style. First, it must be thin. Second, it must be in square cuts. Lastly, must use gooey Provel cheese, a processed combination of cheddar, provolone, and swiss cheese. For under $13.00, I thought this was a good deal. The pizza was unique in cuts and the type of cheese used. The layers of cheese covered the pepperoni, and hot steam left the pizza upon each bite. Did I enjoy the dish? Yes. Did it outdo in terms of first impression and the smell taste compared to a New York-styled Pizza? No. Although I enjoyed trying this dish, I think I prefer my cheese to be mozzarella.

Medium thin crust, 1/2 sausage, 1/2 pepp

Ed and Margie Imo started their pizza journey as a young married couple, devoted Catholics in St. Louis, who every Friday nite would wait until after 1130 and go pick up a pizza after midnight. Lightbulb. What if someone brought the pizza to our house, wouldn't that be great? Now it's the name synonymous with "St. Louis style" pizza, and starting from one lowly shop in 1964, with the innovation of home delivery, to over 90 stores in three states today. It's a thin, crispy crust, and thin is my fave, but this redefines the category, with a pie crust even thinner than say, a saltine. St. Louisans prefer a pie with a mix of cheese, perhaps a pinch of cheddar, giving the finished appearance a yellow hue, and a unique flavor. Imo's uses "Provel", which is a mix of cheddar, Swiss, and provolone, with a low melting point, and produces a "gooey" melt. It's not used in many other places in the country. Imo's sauce is home-spun, rich in flavor, and the chain is hot on 'wall to wall' toppings. It's a legend that I had never heard of, even tho I have previously lived in St. Louis. I went at the urging of my scientist brainiac friend Brett, who hails from the city of the Arch. It was worth the journey. Imo's right from the oven is terrific. And cheap. A 12", two topping, which is medium at most pizzerias, was less than $11. Outstanding.

The last pizza I ordered there was the worst pizza, ever ordered from them. I decided to try again Large pizza, garlic bread and salad.. Again pizza was cold, not the Imo's standard I was used to. Barely any cheese the garlic bread was soggy and stuck together. Salad was lettuce with some cheese. Will not order again.

St. Louis Style pizza. Sausage and pepperoni with provel bites.

We are from out of town. We wanted to try St. Louis pizza. We were referred by the guide at the Arch. We ordered for delivery. They said it would be 2 hours and it was around the corner from our hotel. We cancelled the delivery order and changed to pickup. The pizza was ready when we got there and cold by the time we got back to the hotel. The pizza was ok. I couldn't really taste the difference with the provel cheese. It tasted like mozzarella. It was an experience. I can't say I would want it again.

Not sure why I keep giving this place a chance. Every time something is wrong or just yucky. Who in the world thought it was ok to send out these nasty extremely burned breadsticks?!

Love this Imos. Still giving a 4 star because of consistency over the years but lately there has always been a mistake. This is the second time in row...

There were other people there. The hostess and waitress were very hospitable. I ordered the lasagna with a side salad, and my wife ordered the chicken modiga. We heard the portions were big, and that is the truth. My serving of lasagna was about 4 inches square and about 3 inches tall. Multiple layers of pasta and meat and other yummy stuff. I ate about half and took the other half home. My wife's chicken modiga was also huge. She got two breaded chicken breasts and a pile of pasta. She ate about half of one chicken breast and brought the rest home. The chicken breast that she started eating was great. Nice breading. Nice lemony sauce. The next day we reheated our leftovers. We each got some lasagna, and we split the chicken breasts (I got the whole second one and she got the one she started on the night before). The lasagna tasted as good as the first time. This is what I noticed on the chicken breasts. The whole chicken breast tasted like it had a rubbery side to it. I suspect that particular chicken breast had freezer burn on the one side. The other chicken breast was perfect. I had my wife try my chicken breast and she agreed, kind of rubbery. I don't know if this is a one off thing or if this happens often. As I stated this was my first time there. That is why I am taking one star off for my review. Other than that chicken breast, everything was great! I will eat there again. I highly recommend the lasagna.

All of the above, went well. Food, service, & ambiance were more than satisfactory…read more Highly recommend.

But it ended up being one of the best parts of the experience. That single table creates such a unique, intimate atmosphere. Instead of feeling like just another customer, you're treated like royalty. The service was incredibly accommodating, warm, and personal. Honestly, the people working there didn't feel like employees--they felt like family. And then there's the pizza... WOW. The cheese is something you'll never forget. It's rich, perfectly melted, and absolutely delicious. Every bite had incredible flavor, and the crust had a memorable texture that showed how much care goes into crafting each pizza. To top it all off, it's very affordable. Amazing food, outstanding service, and a one-of-a-kind dining experience without breaking the bank. 5/5 -- I'll definitely be back!

We ordered for delivery, so I can't comment on service or atmosphere really, but my family who lives there said it's basically carry-out only, so I don't guess I missed much, lol. It was a very busy Saturday night and we got a huge order. It took over an hour for it to be made and delivered, but they did warn us about that wait time, so nbd lol. It came at around the time they promised, which is what matters most! My husband was excited to St. Louis style pizza and there were lots of pizzas to try. They arrived hot and fresh. I was still pretty full from our earlier dinner, but I tried one slice of what I belief was the margherita pizza. The cheese was super gooey, the crust was nice and crispy, and the olive oil base gave it a nice and rich feel. Good pizza! Everyone else was happy with their slices too. I will say the toppings are generally covered by cheese and so if you don't know what was ordered you might wind up with a bite of something you don't like (as was the case for my heat-averse aunt who got a big mouthful of jalapeño on one of her slices). Easy enough problem to avoid though! Grateful for local place that could feed a bunch of hungry people! Give Leo's a try. My family in St. Louis definitely enjoys it, as did I!
