The provel cheese blend on this Imo's Pizza....really makes for a special kind of pizza. A very crispy cracker type crust...is the base that has that certain oven scald taste. Came here for Mothers Day after being out of state for 3 years and they did not disappoint! Plenty of seating and a few TV's showing local sports. Had the hamburger and onion, pizza, and a pepperoni pizza, as well as their toasted ravioli, hot wings, and deluxe salad. They were quick to bring out each item and everything was piping hot and fresh. If thin crust pizza with their trademark provel cheese is your thing then this is your place! Thanks guys!! read more

I guess I just don't get it.... I love Pizza all kinds of Pizza: New York, Chicago, Detroit, California west-coast name a style; whether it be thick or thin or in the middle, Hot and Soicy Pepperoni with Jalapenos and Garlic or Mild and sweet with Canadian Bacon and Pineapple....I'll generally eat it, but not this time... for the first time Evar, I throw in the towel and say Bleh! They literally lied about a pizza being on its way just to let us know an hour after it was supposed to be delivered. They couldn't even call, they had some random door dash driver call me to explain that they just wouldn't make my order. Won't even answer the phone so I can get some answers. Very frustrated..only get imos when in town, but prices have skyrocketed beyond stupid. $32 for an xl pizza and it was just a average pizza I could get from Pizza Hut or domino's for $7.00. I had a hankering for St. Louis pizza. Unfortunately it wasn't what I remembered. The pizza was over cooked and the cheese was dry because of that. It was burnt along the edges as well. I normally love Imo's and am hoping this is a one time occurrence. The staff was cordial. I have no complaints from them. Even though it was lunch time, there were only a few tables occupied and the rest needed to be wiped down. I had to sit at a larger table because the smaller ones were all dirty. I cannot go higher than a 3 star rating for this meal shared by me and my husband. We love St. Louis style pizza but could barely taste the Provel on our veggie pizza. It had good flavor and a nice cracker thin crust but it was somewhat burnt tasting in spots and just not too impressive. We got the second smallest pizza they offer and before adding a tip it was almost $18. The primary topping was sliced tomatoes. It was certainly not an eighteen dollar pizza. I did notice (after ordering) they seem to offer quite a few specials that would have helped on the value here...for a few more dollars we could have ordered a Dinner for Two with salads and drinks included. I would have appreciated the counter staff tipping us off to any specials, but I suppose signage should have been enough. If and when we return, I'll check out those options before ordering. Given the very lackluster atmosphere here and overall blah of the food and service, I think it's overrated and overpriced. I'd try again someday and/or visit another Imo's location to see if it's better or different. read more

I went in to Imo's about a week ago, craving a pizza for my mid-day lunch. I was greeted by a man in a 1320 racing shirt, and from that point on, I knew he was cool. He told me about everything they had, from their toasted raviolis to their pizzas made by a man in Seattle Seahawks hat. I ordered a lunch special with an 8 in. pizza, salad, and drink for only $9. I must say, I very much enjoyed it! Definitely recommend 11/10 read more

On a trip to Springfield, we stopped by for dinner. The eating area was clean, the staff was friendly, and the pizza came quickly to our table after ordering it. This Imo's location is good as far as the pizza is concerned, but the two MAJOR down sides is the high prices ($17.50 for a 14in two topping thin crust) and the consistently rude staff. If you're willing to shell out that much for a 14inch pizza, it tastes good. Every time I call to order and come to pick it up, I'm treated like I'm wasting their time. There's too many instances of rude staff to customer interactions that I've had/observed with both locations to even list. Now that I'm realizing how many other awesome pizza places there actually are in Springfield and how much further my $20 will go, I'm resigned that my previous time here will be my last. read more

Great pizza. What I love most about Imos on W. Republic Rd. Is that when the Battlefield location closed they expand their delivery radius so we could still get Imos delivered. This is by far the best delivered pizza place in town. When you are in a rush or simply don't feel like making dinner then I suggest you try Imos rather than the "big 3" in Domino's Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. Imos is clearly a better quality product than the above. Keep us the good work! read more

Great food, a little pricey but you get what you pay for, worth it when you have the munchies though. They have a perhaps too generous delivery area, delivering from Battlefield Missouri to Ozark Missouri - but delivery times are rarely more than 40 minutes despite that. I dont live far from this location so it never takes more than 20 minutes which is perfect cause i cant be asked to feed myself. Sometimes though i like to mix it up and order a 2 Liter with my pizza for delivery. Ill wait with my screen door propped open so when the delivery driver arrives and knocks on the door, my hundred pound pitbull will try to run out to greet him. The driver almost never lets my dog out of my house. Five stars for that. I respond in kind by telling him shes a scaredy cat and would never hurt anyone - we exchange money for services rendered and part ways, i retreat to my living room to smoke illegal narcotics and eat st louis style pizza delivered to my front room, and the driver to save some other poor souls life im sure. I finish my evening by calling the store and complaining about my order being 2 hours late and weave tales about how the driver was super rude to me and especially my dog in the hopes that ill get a sick store credit for some more delicious imo's pizza! - Sam A. I can't say much about their pizza. I have tasted frozen pizza's better this this. Only saving was the mozzarella balls, ravioli and cinnamon bites. The cheese didn't taste real, and the crust was kinda tough. I live in this area, so I chose this place. I will choose Big Slice from now on. Don't waste your money on this pizza, not worth it! Over priced and not very good! We got it to go and picked it up at their requested time... Pizza tasted and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. On the pepperoni, I had 1 1/2 pieces of pepperoni on a total of 4 pieces..The Hawaiian pizza had very little toppings too...What toppings were on it were covered in sauce and cheese, I guess to hide how very few toppings were on it... Sad that Papa Murphy's has them beat by a long shot, in price and quality. The crust would've been good if it had been made fresh, but was tough and mushy from apparently sitting.. I had to wait over 20 minutes for my food that I preordered and people kept walking in and getting their food and when I asked they said to wait. Finally someone else had said something and they had my food that had been ready since before I came in. I don't recommend they have good food but horrible service. read more

I spent almost 30 minutes trying to place an order, but I'm guessing since they just kept hanging up the phone that they don't take orders within the last hour of being open. So rude. Ordered my pizza and said it would be 15 minutes. When I got there, I called for them to bring it out and they said they would be out in a minute. We had to wait 20+ more minutes and when they brought it out, they claimed they were super busy and it takes 45 minutes or longer to make pizzas. Asked the kid to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. I don't believe he was. He didn't even apologize or anything.
