Moving, like many others, is one of my least favorite things to do. I've had a range of experiences with different companies (ranging from positive to truly the worst). Going forward, iMOVE will be my first call. Igor and his team were the absolute best. They were respectful and highly communicative -- and arrived right on time! They worked extremely quickly and efficiently, but also took special time and care with all of my more fragile/expensive belongings. I had some heavy packages in the lobby of my new apartment, and they even helped me move them upstairs when they were done. These guys deserve all the tips. Mia was also wonderful to work with from start to finish -- she was friendly, professional, and responded to all of my questions in a timely manner. The administrative portion (eg. requesting quotes, payments, etc.) was seamless. They even checked in and asked for feedback at the end of the move. And in addition to the service, the pricing was extremely reasonable. The whole experience was above-and-beyond, and they took so much of the stress/anxiety I usually have around moving. iMove is a great company. We are a small non profit that moved locations within NYC. We ended up choosing iMove because of a combination of price and positive reviews, and we couldn't be happier! First of all the move itself, and the team of guys led by Michael was really great. Super professional, and really on time. They gave us an 8-10am time of showing up, and they were there at 8:05. We did most of our own packing, but there were several large items, and also fragile items that they wrapped and packed very securely. The whole job took about 6 hours, and it went very smooth. Really excellent work. And also the customer service was exceptional. Sofia would answer any email within minutes, and everything was very straightforward; no hidden fees or extra costs not listed in the quote. I found working with iMove to be very pleasant; I always felt like they were doing as much as they could to do a great job. We hired IMove to complete our big move from NY to GA. From the very beginning IMove was great. Marlo came out to my house to inspect the items I was moving plus we had a storage unit. I was given a fair price. Sofia and Maya were very responsive and accommodating. The day of the move Omar abd his team were fast , professional and excellent at handling my many boxes, bags and bins. They even produced a miracle when they packed my 15" foot truck with items for my storage. I was astounded they were able to get everything. They drove 2 trucks to my new house in GA. The crew was so nice and efficient, they had the trucks unloaded in a few hours. They were awesome. iMOVE NYC was very fairly priced and the people I dealt with prior to the move were all responsive and friendly. They made sure that the pick up time would comply with the Landlord's time specifications, Movers Omar and Lotfy called up to tell me their ETA. When they arrived they assessed what they were to move so they could bring up enough covers and Dollys etc for the furniture. They worked with precision and in sync with each other and covered everything very well. When they arrived at the Drop off location there was one flight of stairs. The estimation is very reasonable and best part I got a flat-rate deal. Mia is quick to reply and answered all my questions. She was patient with me with all the back and forth with my move in date. Moving is already an incredibly annoying task so when I started my search I decided to go with a local company . The initial process was seamless and getting a quote and paying the deposit was easy. I had to add additional stuff to move , change of address and sooooo many questions ! Everyone that responded was super helpful and the turn around time for answers was relatively quick ! We were so impressed by these movers. We needed to change our moving date at the last minute. They responded promptly and were happy to accommodate us. They were very nice and courteous, they came when they said they would and they packed & then unloaded everything so well.
