My 1st archery experience was spectacular. Albeit, I didn't hit the bulleyes after 1 hour worth of attempts. You make an appointment. Sign some waivers. Watch a quick simple video. Get some tips from an instructor for 2 rows and you're off shooting arrows. Kind of the best $20 spent doing something therapeutic. It was a bit warm, even with the A/C or huge fan running. Kind of funny to see who takes charge of calling, "Clear!" For us, it was between a quiet young girl and an older Asian commando type. My quiet quirky friend, not the alpha type tried doing it, but it wasn't clear. [facepalm moment]

A Truly Outstanding Experience at Impact Archery! My fiancée and I had an absolutely incredible experience with Charles, the owner of Impact Archery. After purchasing her a new bow, we called the shop to see if we could get some professional help assembling everything and getting it dialed in. When we showed up an hour later, Charles immediately put his lunch aside, cleared the workbench, and got straight to work -- talk about dedication! From the moment we walked in, Charles was friendly, personable, and unbelievably knowledgeable. He made us feel right at home, getting to know us and even sharing his own stories while he meticulously built out the bow. He took the time to let her choose all her favorites - serving colors, peep size, and every other detail you could imagine. Nothing was rushed, nothing was overlooked. Once the bow was set up, Charles brought us back to the indoor range and spent focused, one-on-one time making sure everything was perfect -- draw length, poundage, peep placement, sight tuning - you name it. He fine-tuned everything with an expert eye until it was shooting beautifully. Then he gave us time to shoot on our own and make sure we were 1000% happy with the final setup. Honestly, we had so much fun working with Charles that we didn't even want to leave. The passion, care, and professionalism he pours into his work are truly unmatched. We can't wait to come back to Impact Archery to shoot with Charles (Owner), Tracy (General Manager and Private Lesson Instructor), and the rest of their fantastic team. If you need anything archery-related - beginner help, expert tuning, or just a welcoming place to shoot -- Impact Archery is the place to go. Highly, highly recommend!

Waited a long time for an employee just to come out and see what we wanted and then got an attitude and wasn't very friendly when my husband was asking questions about a compound bow. Like this is not how you make sales and this is not professional. if you want someone to buy your equipment then maybe you should be more customer service friendly. I had to walk out of the store because I was gonna get very disrespectful because the guy just absolutely is not friendly. The guy acted like it's an inconvenience to have customers in the store.

My wife and I, along with our friends, have come to this place multiple times. Every time we come, all the staff have been truly amazing. They have all taught us something new about archery each time. We love how patient and awesome the staff are, even when we are sometimes slow on learning the new techniques. All the staff we have dealt with seem like they love this sport and are passionate about teaching it to everyone. I am so glad we started off with Impact Archery. They have made me love this sport, and I can't wait for Impact Archery to customize a bow for myself and my wife If you are even at all interested in learning about this sport, please go check this business out. The staff is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and they will help you learn.

My boy Tracy got me right!! had a last min archery cow elk tag & he got me ready for it! had me practice my shots & even found me the perfect bow!!

This place is very underrated. I loved it!! My friend and I did about an hour of shooting after a quick safety video for only $35 each. It takes a lot more skill than I ever thought. The group I was in was small. Just one other couple was with us. I would love to do this more often, and really get comfortable with a bow. If u have your own equipment you can have a hour of range time for $15, I believe. Open from 10am to 8pm.

Hi. My daughter & I are interested in learning archery but have no idea how to get started. What do we do initially?

I would recommend making a reservation on our website for our shooting experience. It is under the "One hour lane and equipment rental". After that maybe we can discuss purchasing equipment and lessons and memberships. Does that sound good?

After paying, you fill out the waiver forms on a tablet, secure your stuff in the complimentary school type lockers and you're ready to go. The pre-game screening shows you what to expect from your VR headset and weapon. Afterwards you enter the room and they load up your headset, vest with your VR Rifle attached. The equipment was comfortable, functional and I didn't have any issues. The Warhammer 40K game was 30 minutes long and it was Fantastic. Let me give a brief summary of Warhammer 40K: Imagine the darkest, most over-the-top sci-fi you can think of, then dial it up to eleven. That's 40k. It's set in the far future, like 40,000 years from now, and humanity is basically fighting for its life against everything. The galaxy is just one giant, brutal warzone. The core of it, revolves around the Space Marines. They're genetically engineered, surgically enhanced super-soldiers. They're basically humanity's ultimate weapon, created by the Emperor of Mankind. You and your team play as Space Marines on a mission that got me sweaty by the end of the game. The visual really played on my senses as my fear of heights in this virtual world was kicking in. The aliens that were swarming us kept the heart rate moving and the boss alien we had to battle was a blast. $50 (all in price) per person is probably the most I'd pay for this experience. At the end, you get the final game standings emailed to you along with a 30 second video clip that shows a side by side of what you were seeing in the game vs you in the actual world. Very cool and something to post on your IG story. We'll swing by here again if we come across games that really call to us like Warhammer 40K. Enjoy!

We didn't have reservations. I know not a good thing in Vegas. We were there for my buddy's Birthday. When we got there the clerk said that there was a game starting in 15 minutes but the people who reserved it was for the robot game and not the zombie one. We were disappointed but since we were here we decided to play. We stepped away and came back. The other worker waived us into the room and explained that the group didn't make it and we would be playing the Outbreak game. What luck. He went over a training video on the VR items and how to use the weapons. Then we were lead into the gaming room. It was a large room almost like a warehouse size. SO we had all this area to move around in. The VR headset was tricky lining up at least for me. If you didn't have it square on your eyes it wouldn't be in focus. I finally got it on correctly. The gun can be used as a shotgun or an assault rifle. I stuck with the latter. Reloading was automatic which was good and bad. It was slow but you could press the reload button on the bottom of the rifle. Hard to get used to but quicker. It was really neat. When you got close to a wall or a person a wall of red triangles popped up so you know to move away. The game was a story and easy to follow. It was weird doing VR. It looked like you had to climb a pipe and possibly fall. The guy had to tell us through the headset that you are still on a flat floor and to remember that to move through the obstacles. I had so much fun and I didn't time it but seamed pretty long of a game. I would love to do this again. Definitely make reservations. A must.

Thomas Fuller As far back as the Stone Age, archery has been present. It's one of the oldest of sports and it's supported by the ancient artifacts that have been preserved and found. Prior to man using a gun to kill and destroy other objects and people the use of a bow and arrow was used. The word archery comes from the Latin word arcus, which means bow and arrow. In fact, in an archery game the arrow can fly twice over again than what a cheetah can run. We have all these facts about archery. Why should one care about archery today? We don't hunt any longer? We have guns to shoot our enemies and kill our food? If one forgets their past history, like what is apparently happening today all these things are forgotten. Even if your not hunting, which I would never do. Taking an animals life for sport is wrong. That's just my personal preference. Im not going to hunt any humans either? But we need to keep the past alive here in the present. The staff here are very well trained in the skills of archery. Maybe not for hunting but just to keep the skill alive. Most of the staff are on the younger side as well. They build bows here for all price ranges. And can even teach you how to use your bow properly. While the bow and arrow was mankind's first weapon of choice and advanced technology. In many American Native cultures the bow and arrow symbolized an embodiment of magic as given through the spirit world. These days the bow and arrow has truly evolved. The compound bow is what we ended up taking home vs the recurve bow. The compound bow allows the user to draw with more control and less weight as you use it. The compound bow is truly better at accuracy than the recurve bow. Most individuals start on a recurve bow and graduate to a compound bow. The consistency of the compound bow might seem more complex it's easy to master with practice. A good shooter is known for their aim. Archery is in the love of watching the arrow fly and hit the target. Now focus your mind and let the bow be part of you. Aim and let go and watch the arrow fly to the target.
