I was traveling for work and wanted to find a healthy place to eat that had easy pickup. This place was great! The food is very healthy and was super easy to order online. It was ready in 15 minutes, and was ready on the pick up shelf.

Very impressed by both staff and food. Got there early and they were nice enough to let us wait indoors 15 mins before they opened. The service continued to be excellent, quick, regularly asked how we were doing and just very professional. I had the make your own breakfast with scrambled eggs, avocado, beans, sweet potato and bacon. Everything was good, especially the bacon and sweet potato. Will make it a regular stop.

Amazing array of gluten free choices! Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was very helpful even though they forgot about my salad during my second visit and I had to wait another 15 min while they prepared it. But it happens!

I find it expensive. Food that is simple and doable but you pay more if you eat out. Avocado toast with egg. Good but pricey. A with-it place with lots of seating. Service is friendly.

Service is slow and can get backed up. However food is tasty and I like the detox juices. Lots of seating so great for a work meal or just coffee with friends. Big fan of the little juices you can get. Also premade grab and go but just hard when service is slow and can't go. Reasonable for price and great quality. They also have a rewards service membership so can get rewards. No parking available.

This is my first time here and was really amped up after reading all the reviews. We were really craving for some yummy soup on a cold rainy day. We ordered the Thai butternut squash soup which sounded great going by the list of ingredients. I ordered online on their website and for the first order you get 50% off. But the thing is you don't get the sourdough bread free that dining people have indicated. Not sure if dine in folks get it for free but whatever. No biggie! I went over to pick it up. The entrance was a little confusing to find if you walk on harbor street but I found it. I picked up my soup and I told them I carried my own paper bag which they were pleased about. I was happy that they acknowledged my effort to save the planet. The place is bright with nice glass windows and plenty of room to socially distance. I brought home the soup, heated it as one should and started eating it. It was under seasoned. So I added salt and pepper. The flavors didn't really hit the spot. But I'm willing to give impact another try because their bowls looked really good and maybe that's what they're known for. A slightly disappointing start but next time they will win me over!

I was in the neighbourhood looking for a cafétéria for a Quick breakfast. This place has a very convenient location in the RBC waterpark building and offers varied options for breakfast, coffee and tea. Besides, there are huge patio (indoor loll) and indoor space. It would be very suitable for a group meet-up or gathering. The food is healthy and fresh..( too healthy lolll that's why I only give four stars in this case) worth a try

    My boys loved their toast.

Food tastes very healthy and good. A little bit pricey but everything was delicious. I liked the small toasts and their juices. My son also liked their salmon, I wish it had a bit more flavor like lime or lemon but it all tasted very fresh and healthy which is what we were looking for.

Yummy Thai food with fresh ingredients…read more For two people we got the papaya salad w/dried shrimp, Khao Soi w/shrimp, and pad gra prow w/crispy pork. We ordered medium spicy for the papaya salad and it only had a slight kick. I wished the salad portion was more as it was gone pretty quickly. It comes with shrimp chips, pork rinds, and 2 small bundles of rice noodles. The dried shrimp in the salad was very chewy though, which made it a bit less enjoyable. I ended up picking them all out. We ordered spicy for the pad gra prow but it wasn't spicy at all. I think you can ask for the Thai chilis/ Thai chili fish sauce thing on the side but we decided we were fine with no spicy. Unfortunately the crispy pork was not crispy at all and was also very chewy. Overall it was still delicious! The Khao soi mightve honestly been the least favorite, but it was still good. It is on the sweeter side. The egg noodles were cooked al dente and had a nice chew. Sometimes when I get Khao soi it ends up being too heavy or creamy, but the curry for this one was thinner and easy to eat. The shrimp was the best part - super fresh and bouncy. In the end I thought the portions and quality were good. The service was also super nice, and it was impressive to see our waitress cover so many tables. The restrooms were also clean.

Three sangrias may have been consumed before happy hour wrapped up. No regrets. Tragedy struck when I discovered my beloved Cobb salad has been removed from the menu. I pivoted to the katsu chicken salad, which was fine but couldn't fill the Cobb-shaped hole in my heart. My mom, however, was thrilled with her Mediterranean salad. The ambiance was lively as always, and our server was friendly and helpful with solid recommendations. The food was good, the vibe was great, and we made it to our show on time. It says a lot when the nicest place that I could find in the area was a Joey's. Anyway, I sat at the bar and had a calming beverage and ordered their fish tacos. The bartender was very welcoming. All the ingredients in the dish were good, but somehow the salad and the tacos did not taste that great... the ratios were all off, a bit too much gloop and really unharmonious. A shame, because they had everything to make this a good dish! But, it's a Joey's, so my expectations are low. The place was an oasis of calm compared to the cacophony of Yonge & Dundas Square outside, so they're still getting 4 stars out of me!

It said established in 1919, so we thought it's a good sign it's been in business over a century; although not this location specifically. Their history in the 20th century was that they started in Berlin, Germany in 1919, but they were a Jewish family who ended up immgrating to Israel in 1933, opening their store there, and expanded locations throughout Israel. Their history in Toronto & North America (including some in the US) is much more recent since opening in 2017. Unfortunately, my closest is New York City; none in Maryland or DC area. This location is in busy downtown Toronto. We sat outside on their big patio area as the weather was warm and could enjoy the view of the buildings, people, cars, etc. Server was friendly answering our questions. I ended up getting an egg benedict with salmon in a croissant. It was creative and delicious take on egg benedict. The only issue was it was messy to eat in the croissant, but I didn't care as it was so delicious. My girlfriend got a Belgian waffle with blueberries, whipped cream, etc. It was unique and very good & sweet too as I tried a bite. Overall, this was a 5-star experience with great food, service, & atmosphere.

Service: It was not great. We sat for a while and no one took attention (we were outside and they were busy but no excuse for them -- they should do better). We had folks come in and out and were somewhat nonchalant and not attentive. Food: This was the great part of the experience. - Berries and Granola with Greek Yogurt: My brother in law got this an he devoured it and said it was great. - Farmers Breakfast: My wife got this and she LOVED it. She went back to get their Halwah Latte (which she said was just OK) - Egg white Omlette Skillet: I customized my food and it was good -- for reference I've had better only because the cheese was feta and it was unclear that this was the only option as I don't love feta. Also I'm pretty sure while I asked for egg whites there was normal egg (i.e., eggs). If you order egg white make sure the server hears you. They screwed this up for me. This is why I'm giving it three stars -- I could have made a stink but didn't think it was necessary to do so. All in all -- I'd recommend this spot to folks but don't go there thinking the service will be great.

Usually when I visit on weekdays either around lunch hours of 1-3 or after work 5-8, there's only 1 person ahead of me. Basil Box has a special place in my heart. I've been visiting several of their locations since they first started out in Toronto. It's one of my go-to spots when I need something that feels like healthier fast food. Most of my orders turned out to be terrible combinations full of regret that were totally my fault. For one order, I asked them to cover my BYOB in Thai Chilis, not realizing how spicy it was, and spent the whole meal crying inside their store while their staff looked on. During my most recent visit, I was lucky and realized maybe Peanut Sauce is the key to the BYOB. I got their Tofu curry walk in daily special for ~$11. It was so good, I was really surprised. The portion was enough to stretch to a 2nd meal. Although weirdly the rice hardened so I ended up throwing those leftovers away...:( Their Thai iced tea is OK. I feel every other BBT spot makes it better. Theirs is a bit watery. I tried their new satay fries. It's just fries seasoned with some satay seasoning powder (if you add on an egg to your dish, know you're literally getting a sunny side up egg with that powder on top). I thought it was too salty, and had to drown it out with other food items. They have a partnership with Wong's ice cream so I definitely recommend trying those pints out. Lots of different seating, good if you're alone or with friends. It's also relatively quiet; you could probably get away with studying or working remotely here.
