The owner didn't mention ay additional charges. When I went to the shop , the owner told me I need to pay additional $40 dollars for oil recycling which is not mentioned on the groupon website. I told him I can accept the charge and I need the receipt with the $40 additional charge to follow up with groupon about it. The owner said I am not interested in the deal anymore and asked me to leave and get a refund from groupon. I also noticed the owner increased the break fluid flush price on groupon from $160 to $240 after I left the shop today. It's a really bad experience for customers that the owner can change his mind and reject the service. Update for owner's review below "a vehicle that is directly not covered in the advertisement" , groupon adversisement doesn't mention any special vehicle price. After the owner told me to charge additional $40, I was confused and later accepted the charge while telling him to get the receipt for reference then I can follow up with groupon. After that, the owner refused to do the service. I guess the owner don't want his practice to be exposed to groupon. The owner could have listed the additional charge on the groupon website in the beginning to let customers be clear about all the cost. " TheThe individual came in with a vehicle that is directly not covered in the advertisement. That alone is huge, because a lot of places make you feel rushed or like you're being talked over--but not here. They were upfront about pricing, didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary, and got the work done quickly without cutting corners. You can tell they've been doing this for a long time and actually care about their customers and their reputation. What stood out the most to me was how honest and straightforward they were. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but this is definitely one of those places. If you need a smog check, repair, or even just an inspection, I would 100% recommend giving them a shot. I'll definitely be coming back here for anything I need moving forward.

I got to speak with Sal during drop off. He took a look at the wheel and said that while the damaged looked rough, they would be able to make it look "pretty" good. He was straight forward on what they could and couldn't do in terms of reshaping the lip and matching the paint. This was an understatement, when I came to pick up the wheels, I could not even tell where the original damage was. These guys worked magic. I did end up finding some spots that had some minor paint pooling when drying but they were quick to schedule a follow up for touchups. I got to speak with Francisco for a bit as well and he was also great to work with. If you have expensive forged wheels that need repair and want a shop that offers fantastic repair service, great communication, and very reasonable pricing this place is it.

However, I trust AAA and have been a member for quite sometime so I took my car in to be inspected at their Tully Road location. To make a long story short and after testing my car with lots of fancy diagnostic tools they told me I needed $3,924.07 in repairs including front and back brakes. Huh?! I asked what is "needed" rather than "recommended"? He quoted me around $2500. I politely told him I would go to my regular mechanic to take a look. I've been going to Tai/Tran at White Road Auto Service for decades and he has always been the most trustworthy person. Being a good old fashioned mechanic he looked under my car with a flashlight and deducted I needed my front brakes resurfaced. Then he checked under the hood and said I needed to top off my oil. Total cost $234.91. That's a difference of $3,680.16. Who do you think is going to be my forever mechanic?
