Honest and reliable. I get a great vibe from the owner, he's not trying to pull a fast one on people. I needed my spark plugs replaced on my fr-s. Skips and Toyota wanted over $1100 because it's a box engine. MCD did it for 1/3 of the price. Also, I sent my buddy here to get his car looked at because of a weird noise. 5 stars all the way. I came in for an oil change, pricing was very reasonable & competitive compared to other local shops. I usually do my own oil & filter change but this was my gf's car & I didn't have the time to go buy her car's filter cap adapter. Car and I where in and out within 20-30 minutes. Luckily they weren't super busy so they took me as a walk in. I didn't have to kill much time, just waited by their garage door; fast when you have the right tools haha. Fastest oil change I have ever had in my entire life! By the time I got inside to ask about also replacing a brake light, they were lowering my car and backing it out. With any car service, I always worry about the pricing as people tend to increase the price and services based on the customer. I called Huy to get an idea of how much the 100K service would be and was blown away by his response as in my lifetime, I'd never received such an answer from an auto shop! He asked me to bring in my car and would see what needs to be done vs what's on the manual checklist, and that you should only pay for what needs to be done. Though I'd been going to him for my oil changes, this made me a forever believer that in the auto business, there ARE good hearted, non-cheating people, and I found it in MCD Auto! The only downside to recommending them to others is that they may not have availability for me anymore! jk jk.... but no, seriously, whatever your auto needs, PLEASE just go check them out. The nicest and most honest mechanic in the Bay. I recommended him to family and everyone that asks. He's checked my sister's car on three different occasions free of charge when Mitas basically made her think her car needed thousands in repair. I found him originally because I was quoted $2,500 for a few different sensors including an O2 sensor for my 96 Infiniti by 4 different shops. I went to him and he said half of what I was quoted by surrounding shops wasn't even necessary. Sure enough he did the job for $550 and the engine light went away and it passed smog.
