First off I don't do these reviews very often but in this case I felt compelled. I went into Imperial dental with gums that were seriously inflamed because I was stupid enough to cut the front gums with scissors. I was a grunt in the military and I learned to compromise when necessary, but in this case I was just too lazy I called Imperial dental and they scheduled me for the next day. For the next three out of four days I went to the dental office. During that time they treated my gums, prescribed medication, and did a full set of x-rays, They also performed root canal on two teeth and capped the two teeth that I thought might be goners. During those three days I also had my teeth and gums deeply cleaned with both standard tools and advance tools such as lasersvtreatment It seems like they did more than that but I can't remember at the moment. Dr. Kim and of her staff, including the front desk, are all incredibly awesome. All of the above procedures were done nearly painlessly. Of course pain did follow after the procedures but Dr. Kim also prescribed medication for that. I was so impressed with Imperial that I will never hesitate to go to the dentist again. Prior to that I was a complete coward when it came to the dentist. Dr. Kim and your staff which includes a very nice woman whose name was too pretty for me to remember, I thank you tremendously. I and my family have been patients at Imperial Dental for three years now. Our service has been excellent. The practice offers a wide range of options for dental care, which includes cosmetic work, but there is not a hard sell involved. I am surprised at some of these reviews. I appreciate the thorough discussion of available treatments the practice offers. We receive regular basic hygiene, and they have done a terrific job with dental cavities, crowns, wisdom tooth extraction, and whitening. I have enrolled my son in their post-orthodontics, and I am considering the othodontic Invisalign Treatment. As I get older, I am finding my teeth moving and tightening in spots. I am too old for braces, so I am grateful that Invisalign (orthodontic treatment without braces) is available here. My recent oral hygiene treatment was the most thorough done anywhere - scaling by the dentist, and cleaning & polishing by the hygienists - excellent! I recommend this clinic highly. If you don't want more than the basics, just indicate that, but do yourself a favor and get the benefit of excellent hygiene and educate yourself about your cosmetic options. - Barbara C. from Yucaipa, CA read more

I have never been one to write reviews but today I am going to. I literally just downloaded yelp to write this review. I am so happy with my daughter's visit today I have been previously seen at another dentist in January and still to now waiting for a referral for my daughter, this is 10 months later...anyways today my daughter was having extreme pain from her cavities that were now infected I called around and tried getting in at a few other "more affordable" places for an appointment and they couldn't get me in until November. Imperial got me in today did two extractions on my daughter to settle her pain and I didn't get charged a dime when my previous place was asking for an arm and leg with a toe. The staff was amazing and very sensitive to my daughter and her anxiety with her mouth pain, we waited about twenty minutes initially after checking in to be seen which I didn't mind considering I called and got the appointment 30 minutes prior and they were working us in. I am surprised by the other reviews listed. I also noticed there are quite a few good ones that are filtered, I think for a site to be legitimate all reviews should be available. I saw the oral surgeon most recently to have all my wisdom teeth taken out and it was so fast I thought I still had my teeth in there! I recovered relatively quickly and went back to work after a few days. Prior to coming to Imperial Dental I had not been to a dentist in years, I was petrified to be seen! The dentist Dr Yap made me feel so comfortable and explained every procedure as she went. Marly the hygienist did my cleaning, I had never had a good cleaning like that before it involved a laser procedure which cost a little bit more but I can tell my gums are healthier since then. The entire office is very professional and is always friendly, they even remember my name when I walk in the door. I have already recommended some of my coworkers and will be bringing my 4 year old in soon for his very first checkup. read more

I was really impressed with Maria D. She helps out with the insurance and estimates and prices. She spent a lot of time explaining all my options to me. I brought my insurance book with me and she looked through it with me and helped me and my husband pick the best options for us. Since we did not have all the money in the world to spend (who does?) she helped us find the most appropriate ways to cut cost. The entire staff was very nice and friendly. They asked several times throughout the procedure if I was ok. Same with my husband. They also explained what they were doing while doing it, which makes it all a little less scary. I was given a movie to watch, which I thought was nice since I had to wait for my crown to be made that day. The only problem was the wait. They got bombarded with customers I guess. It was a Friday. And I was basically stuck there all day waiting in the chair. I assume that this was just a one time situation. read more

DO Not GO Here at least without Calling Another Dental Office first!!! I made an appointment for my 87 yo mother. (Imperial could not quote teeth cleaning prices without seeing her first). After being seated we're told a regular clean is $246- dollars (no x ray-no doctor). But... if we want to buy insurance for $119- the same regular cleaning-(not deep, no xray no doctor) will be $125-= $244- PS: Afterword just down the boulevard I found a (5) star dentist where teeth clean/x-ray/Dr. visit is $180 total. After first visit cleanings are $99-. Imperial takes advantage of clients by getting them in first and then pushing there stupid insurance/ pricing where you end up paying more than a regular dental office. SHOP FIRST! PS: Receptionists are a bit sullen and unfriendly probably from having to deal with their company's rip off policies and sh*t company culture. read more

My husband and I were looking for a local dentist and he called many in Yucaipa. When he called Imperial Dental, the girl on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. We have both been there numerous times now, and have not had a single complaint. I have a severe fear of the dentist, nut they are gentle and professional. I have met with the dentist, hygienist and orthodontist and they are all great. The front desk staff is wonderful and I have never had to wait more than about 10 minutes. I would highly recommend them. I don;t understand all the reviews saying that they try to upsell. I have never had that experience and my husband hasn't either. They have given me gifts for starting my orthodontic treatment, such as an electric toothbrush specifically designed for use with braces. They are great and I hope they get some better reviews. read more

The car salesman of dental practices. Be ready for a lot of BS and shady tactics. This office tried telling me that my bridge was not covered at all under my insurance and that I would have to pay the full price out of pocket. When I returned home I called my insurance company and they informed me that it was covered, just not for the material they were quoting me. I asked the lady at the front if I had other options and she insisted that my insurance would only cover a partial denture and not any bridges. I switched offices out of disgust, and I've attached the new quote from the new dental office. It's a price difference if $3500 for the exact same work and exact same material. Be very aware of these guys. They will con you into anything they can, like needing laser treatment for your cleaning. read more

Wow!!! Thank you all for "the heads up"! They deserve to lose business for their shotty workmanship and unethical business practices. Complaints can be filed with the dental board of California. If the leading dentist and basically the main shareholder, does not fire those undesirable employees of his, he will not only lose a lot of business but may be facing a Class Action Lawsuit! It is Best, you heed the warning and read the writing on the wall. Reform, in the "Best Interests" of your Dental Practice and particularly in the "Best Interests" of the Yucaipa community or suffer the consequences! Our famiy was looking for a new dentist and Imperial Dental came highly reccommended by a friend. I called and got the whole family set up and an appointment was made for the next morning. Our son has had a calcium deposit on his front tooth for years which gave him a complex other dentists told us there was nothing they could do. Today was the best experiance with a dentist we have ever had. They were able to correct the calcium deposit on his tooth. Our son walked out of the office with the biggest smile on his face. A smile he was afraid to show before, but not anymore. All the staff are extremely polite and understanding. Wow, these other reviews are terrible. In my experience so far, they've explained anything they're proposing to do before they start it. I will not book or agree to anything which is not covered by my Dual Choice coverage. I am taking it one step at a time. Be sure to state what you're willing and able to pay for. Other than that, I found Imperial Dental to be helpful, really concerned about my being comfortable. Maybe my opinion of them will change, but I thought they were particularly efficient, and as I said checked with me often to see if I were uncomfortable during their procedures. I realy hate dentis cause they hurt, but I love Imperial dental, I wish I could have found them sooner. They have helped me so much and so on top of everything. When I needed a referral for anything they got it out that day and called me with in a week with an appointment.They are also so pationt with me. I tried imperial dental for the first time after trying several other dentist in Redlands and being very unhappy with them. Their office was very clean and the office staff very nice and professional. My dentist Dr Rolle, his assistant Cherina and the dentist hygienist were all pleasant and very professional. My deep cleaning went well with no pain as did the new crown they put in. After several failed attempts with other dentist to correct my issues Dr Rolle and his staff solved the issue. read more

Normally I'm not a review writer, but for the first time in my life, I'm super happy with my smile. I ended up chipping a front tooth! So I called and they got me in next day. The dentist gave me ALL options that I had starting from cheapest to more expensive. I was not pressured to choose either way. They were super friendly. When I left, I had a better smile than I had originally before chipping the tooth. I highly recommend them if you have a similar issue going on. read more

I haven't seen a dentist for 6+ years. So scared to go. From walking into the office Martha at the front desk was welThis place is truly amazing. Sara is so sweet. Did all my X-rays and was in the room. Kept me calm. Lindsey was very kind and gentle while probing my gums. The dr. Was so nice and explained everything easily. Great dental office! I see Dr Chokka he talks to you, never hurts me. I didn't go for 20 some on years before that because they always hurt me. I got a crown in one day that feels like real teeth, I had 3 in one day and a root canal. I went in at 9am and left by 4pm it took all day but I didn't have to come back. The office takes my HMO insurance and fees are pretty reasonable. I also got a nightguard to help with my teeth grinding. I recommend this office! read more

Wow! I went there today and didn't think that at all. The staff was all very nice and friendly and explained everything that I needed, and answered all my questions. Believe if I didn't think I needed anything I would tell them no thank you. I believe that their openness to make you aware of everything anything that their have to offer is being mistaken for a sales pitch. I can't say enough about the positive experiences my boys and I have had here. Dr. Silvers and Dental Hygienist Sade are who we are seen by and we absolutely love them. They explain each process prior to doing it. They make sure we are comfortable and ready. With my insurance the cost are reasonable and they still offer a payment plan. I chose Imperial Dental Practice as our dental office because my husband had to have his wisdom teeth removed. The dr. was amazing and my husband was completely satisfied with his work. The staff there are great. Martha is very helpful when I call the office to schedule an appointment for my husband or myself. She goes out of her way to accommodate our needs.
