I contacted Cardinal, which proposed replacing the dead compressor as well as a few other small but aging parts in my otherwise excellent existing system. Upon receiving the compressor, Pablo the managing technician, came over an did the technically challenging tasks of retrofitting the heat pump to work with the new compressor, installing new parts to rejuvenate the system, and waiting patiently for the system to optimize before turning it on. Overall, wirking with Cardinal allowed me to save my existing system, while making improvements at the same time. This saved me several thousands of dollars and preserved an HVAC ystem I already liked.

I really valued his expertise and guidance as this home was built by the original owner in '59 and he did some weird stuff. I feel like I can now sleep in a safe house because he brought it up to 2026 standards. I've had him back for rewiring of an outdoor shed that had no power. He and Ronnie got it all up and running. RL and his crew installed my new Navian boiler/hot water combo. The original boiler was still going but barely. This new system is state of the art and all of their plumbing work is museum worthy. They never cut corners and stayed until work was complete. This was a major job because all new wiring and venting systems had to be added. They saved me money by pointing out my air conditioner was good and should last at least another 5 -10 years and didn't need replaced at this time. I attempted to call the plumber to verify this story because I thought that toilet water was classified as sewage. I thought maybe the pipes might be too thin or a new toilet was needed to prevent further leaks. I just want to keep my baby safe, and it doesn't seem correct to just mop up overflowing toilet water leaking through the ceiling and then eat crumbs off the floor... The plumber did not call me back, and the manager just stated that "according to the order there was never a leak in the ceiling". I'm just so frustrated with the lack of communication and lack of concern for the health and safety of their customers.
