They have an interesting twist with their sour beers...bourbon! There's a few on their menu along with IPAs and stouts. The drink pictured is their cherry ruby sour. I thought it was pretty good. I appreciate the indoor open seating and the availability of outdoor seating. They have doors they open on nice days. When my girlfriend and I visited, they hosted a local craft show. After a visit to the zoo, definitely stop here for an after drink!

I like this place as it is local-ish for me & they rotate their selection often but I had this sour a few days ago(3rd time) that was outstanding! I'm not a big fan of sours but I will give them a try depending on which fruit they consist of so the one in question was called Passion Fruit Blanc(Foeder Aged-Brett Berliner Weisse). It was so refreshing, as if they had just tapped it. The fruit notes were very tasty & the aroma alone sucked me right in. On the weekends, there are food trucks staged & u can get a bite while u booze. Service has always been great so far so expect the bartenders to be attentive which is no problem at all. Only 4 stars cuz the layout of the place is weird(L shaped) but I will definitely continue to return and enjoy their libations. Cheers!

The bar had everything come in waves so everything was fresh and hot and not just sitting in a hotel pan over some sterno. Food was delicious!! Split the pot, raffle prizes, great beer (maybe brew more than 3 beers that aren't IPAs? That's just one mans opinion) every seat in the house was taken, but it wasn't overcrowded at all somehow, props to the layout. Never had to wait for the bathroom or at the bar to get a drink, really solid operation. We sat in the bar area, but they have a really cool living room vibe kinda area in a room off of the bar area (fireplace, 60s/70s furniture) that I could definitely see coming back to for a date night or post-dinner drink. Great spot, will be back!

They always have a crowd and that's expected because there's not many other great places besides this. A lot of beers to choose from. There's a pretty great variety and they always rotate. Beers are the main thing of course. It's got a pretty surprising amount to choose from. There's a lot of these on tap. More in cans. Pretty great variety. A lot are IPAs but there's a few others. It's about $8 a pint. Kind of a lot but they make smaller batches of these. Best one we had of these was the Hazy In The Name Of. This is a New England Hazy IPA, a classic style. Made with citrone and nectaron hops. There's notes of citrus, lime, passionfruit, and peach. Has a few things to munch on. It's about $7 for the Knotty Pretzels. Comes in a big bag. These are a great combination and big enough for sharing. For sure there's lots of great beers. It's actually open daily which is especially rare for a brewery to be honest. They sometimes have food trucks.

Honestly, this feels like the kind of place you go to hang out and enjoy a few great beers especially on a summer day after chasing around a toddler around the La Grange water fountain and neighborhood. Overall, a solid spot with a great vibe. I'd happily come back, especially to explore more of the beer menu.

We sat outside and the menu looks like it has a lot of options. We ordered a couple drinks - a beer that wasn't anything special and a martini that had shimmer in it. I took a sip and instantly regretted it - tasted like a mixed drink I made at a highschool basement party. The alcohol burned my throat and it was like the cocktail components didn't make sense. I took one sip and never sipped it again. We ordered cheese curds and a burger which came out in 5 minutes after we ordered which was odd. Felt more like a fast food joint. The cheese curds were heavy and greasy and the burger was pretty good. 1 appetizer, a burger, 2 drinks cost us $67, kind of wild in my opinion. Our server seemed like she wanted us gone too as it was the end of the night. Disappointing experience, don't plan on returning.

It's a pretty nice looking place and there's not a whole lot of room. This place usually isn't that busy though. Mostly because it's not as well known. We came in and tried some beers and snacks. It's about $7 for a pint. That's not bad for a small craft brewery like this. Best one was the Baltic Porter. This had coffee and dark chocolate aromas, with fig and raisin notes, and it was quite strong. A heavy beer at 9.8% ABV. There's bar snacks like cashews at $4 a bag or like that. Come here if looking for a brewery that puts focus on beers and not games. If looking for a brewery where the main thing is beers, this is it. There's only a few snacks but you can bring food in or get it delivered or whatever.
