I've been utilizing the cleaners since I've moved to Whittier about six years ago. Never had any problems. I'd also like to add that I am doing a five star review for them because we forgot to pick up some very important dance uniforms Saturday before they closed. I went into recon mode, trying to find out how to reach somebody to see if they would make an exception and allow us to pick it up on Sunday morning because we needed it for church. I hunted them down on Facebook and even hunted down one of the employees lol. Much to our relief someone hit us back and said that they would gladly meet us on a Sunday to pick up the important items. Took 2 hats to get a emblem sewed on, and the hats were ruined. The hats have a certain shape they came with, after i picked them up the hats were bent in, dented and almost looks like they were stepped on. Horrible sewing service, DO NOT BRING IN ANY SEWING JOBS. read more

I came in to pickup my suit jacket and I was very disappointed in the quality or lack there of. Worst alterations done by any seamstress I have ever encountered. Never, I repeat Never bring a Men's suit for alterations. This lady ruined my 100% wool suit jacket. They do not know what they are doing when it comes to this type of work. Removed material from the jacket that did not need to be taken. Used the wrong hem lines to bring the coat in. Stay away from this place if you're having your suit taken in. Zero Stars. Took 9 days to hem one pair of pants. Pick up was today after 4pm. I was hoping to pick up at 3.. nope still weren't finished. First, this lady looked annoyed when I dropped off my pants. I felt as though she told me it was going to take a long time in order to detour me from leaving the pants. There was a young lady translating for me who even laughed when I agreed to the far away date. As if the older lady was hoping I would go away but didn't. Don't waste your money here. I have used this cleaners on and off for a few years and their service was not great but tolerable, specially because they are the cheapest cleaners in the area. In the past they lost items and made excuses or wanted time to see if it "turned up" but never took accountability, again based on price I over looked it. but the service just continuously keeps getting worse. It appears to be a "family" business but that is prob the problem, this family doesn't care. Based on recent job, I need a dry cleaner regularly and increased my business with them, this just made their lack of quality too hard to take. Double/triple lines on my slacks and more recently destroyed 4 ties. Which I took back and they said it was because they used the presser, leave them and they would iron them. picked up next day, little improved still not wearable. got told it must be the material? then why did you press them and iron them? I've been a customer for about a year, really no issues besides one pair of dress pants stained and another pair of dress pants ironed too long in one area (ok, no biggie..small human errors over a year of service). I took my wife's dresses to get them dry cleaned, when we received them...two of the three dresses were damaged & the other wrinkled. When I took them back - to show them..the owner (a gentleman) with a beard & small tattoo on one hand - very rudely told me that I didn't use their services and he didn't recognize the dresses. I don't even have words to describe this man's actions...$100 bucks a dress & you're telling me I didn't go to your business!! I would have more respect for a small family business, or ANY business if they just owned their mistake (I wasn't looking for cash), but just give me a valid reason as to why your technique ruined two dresses...instead the guy told me, I didn't go there!! read more

I brought my beautiful red satin dress to be dry cleaned. I pointed out that there were 2 subtle stains. I asked if they could be removed. Luisa looked at the spots and said yes we use a special cleaner that removes stains. When I went to pick up the dress I saw that the stains were worse plus there were a few more stains on the dress. It's obvious that whatever they used was not safe for my dress. They took no responsibility for their actions. They husband n wife I take it, had the nerve to say they didn't do it but I could leave the dress and they would clean it. Why in the hell would I want to leave my dress with such ignorant people. Our local dry cleaner. Super efficient and great service. They're always so nice when we come in. They charge a flat rate of $2.29 for each item of clothing. Items are usually ready the next day. Items are always fresh and great when we pick them up. Stains are always taken care of. I'm glad we have such a great neighborhood dry cleaner. read more

I just picked up my winter sweaters. I'm very upset because they stretched out my favorite new cashmere pull over sweater that cost me $99. They also stretched out a second cashmere sweater, but that one was under $40 and doesn't upset me as much. I made sure they were aware it was cashmere and was to be dry clean. I believe they must have laundered it because when looking at the receipt, it says "laundry." I wanted to give this family owned cleaners my business but they failed. I had a graduation to attend so i whipped out the old sports jacket and only pair of formal slacks that I own from the closet. I took the clothes In looking like they were stored in a slinky and when I got them back everything looked and smelled great. I even got the crease on the slacks fixed up. Been going here for a few months and I could say is that their service is not the greatest. These last two drop offs have ruined two items that had been worn once each. The first was a black dress shirt I wore to a family party, that I had worn only once, dropped off and when I picked up it was stained with white streaks all over it. Forgot to bring it back when I dropped off my last load. This week, a brand new light brown sweater I had worn once and brought in due to a dirt stain in the back, was stained with what appears to be Clorox, when I picked it up. Brought both back in to show the gentleman working and all he said about he black dress shirt was, " that's strange." And when I showed him the stained sweater, he said that that stain could not of happened there because it's like Clorox and that they don't use those chemicals on their clothes. In other words, it must of been my dumbass who stained it. I assured him I wore it once and it was nowhere near Clorox when I took it off. Just looked at me and said there was nothing he could do. Had a bag full of clothes I needed to get cleaned... yeah, I'll be taking my clothes elsewhere!!!!! Dry cleaning is okay, just can't beat the price of $2.25 for most items...only catch is you pay up front. The bad is the customer service is not the greatest. When I go to drop off/pick up, a lot of the time, there is no one up front, so you just have to wait until someone sees you from the back. I've been coming here for years then my clothes started to smell like mildew so I stopped taking my clothes for a few months, I decided to give it another try I spoke to the kid at the counter letting him know the reason I stopped going, he informed me that they are now the new owners and had fixed the machines. You get what you pay for at this place. Yes, it is probably the cheapest in town, but your clothes never really feel clean from this place. I also have to agree with other reviewers, there definitely was a horrible stench that was left on my clothes. They really smelled like pee- my husband ended up taking the clothes back and they told him there was something wrong with the machine. Okay fine, things break down- but do u really have to send the clothes back to the owner, and not say anything about your machine/smell. Another day, one of my blouses had about 3 small holes, don't really know how, but I'm sure those weren't there before. I believe that this place should have a sign in front that says... you get what you pay for. ...LOL I took my black and white jacket there, my first clue should have been when the guy asked me, Have you ever had this jacket dry cleaned before! I said yes plenty of times. I thought I would give them a try because a friend saw their sign. Well...Low and behold....when I pick the jacket up there is a note on it that says "We tried and tried but could not get this stain out" WTH? My jacket had a big YELLOW stain on it. I had to throw a nice Michael Kors jacket away. When I took it to another cleaners they told me that it was damaged and they could not get the stain out...a $175 jacket ruined for $2.10! The note they put on my jacket should have read, "We put this stain here and hope you are stupid and don't notice it". ROFL In answer to their question on their sign "Are you paying too much?". Had to give this place one star because I could not write a review without one. You get what you pay for is correct, little price for even smaller customer service, knowledge and accuracy. I brought in 3 shirts at 8am and was told they would be ready after 10 am the next day. WOW REALLY? I asked, and was pleasantly surprised by the guy reiterating the time. Sweet!....NOT! Went in at 10:15am only to be told that the shirts would not be ready until after 4pm. What? But you told me it would be ready after 10am. "No I didn't, was his response. Why would I show up after 10 if it wouldn't be ready until after 4pm? He swore up and down he did not tell me this. I asked to speak with his manager. "I'm the owner" was his response. Really?! He told me that one shirt was ready if I wanted it now. Why would I take one now if I had to come back anyway? Returned after 4pm. Same guy gave me my clothes and this time apologized for maybe saying it would be ready after 10am. He seemed sincere so I thanked him and took my clothes. Following week I take in a woman's jacket, a mans sweater and three shirts. Was told it would be ready after 4 pm the next day. Went in after 4 pm the next day and was given my clothes by a teenage girl. Went home and took the clothes out of the plastic cover to hang them up. While hanging up the jacket, I noticed a strong mildew smell. It was coming from the sweater and shirts. Was it me or was I just imagining the smell? Took it to my son and had him smell them. Yep, mildew! Took the clothes back and told the teenage girl and young guy there that I had just picked these up not 15 mins ago and noticed the clothes smelled like mildew. Girl smelling the clothes: yes it does smell like mildew, young guy smelling the clothes: it smells fine to me. Perhaps he was used to the smell? Girl offered to do them again at no charge and they would be ready after 4 pm the next day. Guy states they do not use water so how can it smell like mildew? Funny thing is that the jacket didn't smell like mildew. Girl told me it was probably because it was white and put into a different batch. She was right. Thank goodness for small favors! I told the guy I didn't bring my clothes in smelling like mildew. Oh they didn't? Was his response. WOW REALLY? Went in after 4pm to get my clothes. Just the teenage girl was there this time. She got the clothes off the rotating rack, placed them on the hanging bar and lifted the plastic so I could smell them. Seriously???? They still smelled like fricken mildew! This time the teenage girl got an attitude and said that it must be the chemicals since they don't use water. Duh! Isn't that what the young guy stated just the other day? Can't think of anything clever other than that? She then took a stance and stared into the air while saying, I honestly don't smell anything. At least take me out to dinner before you screw me! Never again with this place. I left the cleaners across the street to try and save a buck. Not worth it people. Go elsewhere where the business is honest and they have waaaaay better service than this place! Funny thing too, I saw another woman picking up her clothes and walking to her car while holding the clothes up over her head. She smelled her clothes and made a face as I was driving away! Well I gave you guys a shot again and again you failed. My girlfriend brought in 9 pairs of slacks, belonging to me, last Friday and was told they'd be ready after 4pm the next day (Sat). Guess what, only one pair was done and you were closed Monday. So she went back Tuesday morning and they still weren't done. WHY do you keep promising items will be done by a certain time and fail to meet the deadline? This is how a business reputation gets ruined. Brought my clothes in to be dry cleaned last Wednesday (05-24-17) cam the next day to pick up not ready. No biggie so I came Saturday and still not ready. The kid told me that they never got cleaned. Still sitting in the bag where they tossed them the day I dropped them off. So I come back Tuesday since Monday was Memorial Day and still not ready. Never got cleaned. I took my expensive 7 for all Mankind jeans here to get hemmed and I asked for the original hem. When I picked up the jeans I noticed the hem had been cut off and folded over which is not original hem. He said that's how he interpreted original hem, I asked if I had paid more for what I asked for and he said no they are both $8 and he said he could give me back $4 and then didn't give it to me. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. I have been taken my clothes here before but this is the first time that my clothes had this horrible stench to them. I had to have them dry cleaned 3 times!!!! This will definitely be the last time i bring my clothes here! Not only did they smell bad one of my blouses had more stains then when I first dropped it off. The second time I came to pick them up the blouse had discoloration and the stench was still on all clothes. Third time I came to pick them up the stains were removed and so was the discoloration but the stench was still on all my clothes. The owner try to blame the smell from the chemicals that they use. LOL. I've been to other cleaners and my clothes have never smelled this bad. Like other reviews I guess I'll pay a little more and take them to a good Cleaners!!!! First of all I dont like giving low stars because I know how hard is to be a business owner. I hate when people give 1 star for simple mistakes. How ever I feel i will make the owners a favor by addressing and issue that, if they dont resolve, it will affect their business dramatically. We have been customers for over 3 years how ever lately the clothes have had a really bad smell. We took back some clothes we had just received and when we picked them up, they still smelled really bad. Here is the thing plain and simple, I understand things happened, machines or circumstances sometimes cause issues......but when you bring this to their attention, you get nothing but bad attitude, sarcastic comments. This is unacceptable! I see the reviews and Im not the only one stating this fact!....the clothes have a bad smell. I've been here almost two dozen times for dry cleaning. They seem friendly and professional, the price also seems pretty fair. They promise to give you your clothes by the next business day after 4pm-- they circle the day and time for pickup on your receipt. They've never been able to give me all of my clothes when I pick it up the next day, but I can't complain too much because it's always one item. They always "weren't able to finish" one shirt (I have nothing fancy, just cotton button-ups). The excuses rotate and they never fit the description such as it being light colored (nope), or it having a stain (nope). I normally wouldn't make a big deal about it, but now it's gotten to the point-- "which shirt will I not get back this week?" If you really want all your clothes at once, pick them up 2-3 days later. You might just be missing your favorite shirt if you don't wait longer, despite them telling you it will be ready. It has happened a lot to me, they don't offer compensation or credit for the item or anything. I understand the occasional mess-up, but consistently not being able to give me all my clothes is a different story which has started to frustrate me. Overall, they do a decent job, the price is decent, they're friendly. They promise the next day, they circle the next day, but don't bet on them being ready when they say they will. If I lived closer I probably wouldn't mind coming here despite this issue, but I live a little farther now, and driving out to pick up one shirt or not seeing my shirt for 1-2 weeks until I go back to do more dry cleaning is becoming a nuisance. read more
