Terrible service. I brought a pair of pants for cleaning and mending and a jumpsuit for hemming (not lined). They couldn't give me the price for the tailoring since the seamstress was not there so I left my clothes and they called me with a price. They were charging me $47, which is ridiculously high, but I agreed to it since my clothes were already dropped off there. When I went to pick them up, the day AFTER they said they would be ready, not only were they not ready, but the lady at the counter couldn't find my clothes. I had to stand there for over 15 minutes while she searched for them to finally find them stuffed in a bag by the register. I spoke to the owner to let her know about my experience and, even though she apologized, she also came with a bunch of excuses and didn't offer anything to remedy the situation (she could have offered a discount for all the trouble). I was looking for a new cleaners to try and would have been a new, loyal, customer of theirs but definitely not going here again. I'm big on supporting independently owned businesses but not when they don't appreciate their customers and their business. read more

I moved into the area about 1.5 years ago and needed a new dry cleaning spot for my suit ($17.50) and a few dress shirts ($5/shirt). Drop off was quick and easy--give them the close and they print you a ticket. On pickup, they take credit card and have NFC payment options. When I dropped off my dress shirts they were pretty dirty, so I was very happy when they came back clean, pressed and looking new. My suit was also returned in great shape. The only minor downside for me was the turnaround time, which is was about 3 days (dropped off Monday morning, pick up time was Thursday afternoon). I'm used to faster turnaround times, but to be fair, I didn't ask if they could expedite. Overall my experience was great and I will be coming back! read more

This place offers bad customer service to say the least.... My wife took a dress to get it tailored and they did not do a good job. When my wife went back to get the dress properly tailored one of the employees had the audacity of confronting my wife about it as if we were at fault for not properly tailoring the dress. This is a Very Clean Facility. There's usually Management or Janitorial Staff on the Premises at all times, (which is great If You should ever have an emergency)... Prices are waaaaay too high and for a 3 day pick up!.... My sport jackets look good but not $10.50 good! I paid $57 (fricken paycheck) for 4 jackets and a full suit. I literally dropped them off on my 15 min break so I didn't even looked at the final price, the guy (Apparently his name is Sam) was nice at the beginning he said he'll give me 2 off and I was like cool! When I picked my clothes up I told him his prices were way too high and he got all kinds of mad and told me they do a better job than any other dry cleaner. He even told me to go somewhere else if I thought the prize was too high!!!! omg I know right!? He didn't have 10 dollar bills. Okay I'm just being picky now! SOOOOO funny story... I was in a bind because my usual cleaners were not open after Thanks Giving. I had 2 weeks worth of Laundry in my car. I dropped it off and told her Laundry, Heavy starch. I pick them up and my bill is $52. She charged me $4.75 per shirt telling me they were oily so she had to dry clean them 1st them she laundered them i.look at the ticket and its marked Golf Shirts. She didnt give me my order until unpaid her $52. She is a crook and kept talking over me. I NEVER authorized her to double clean my order. DO NOT COME HERE. SHE IS A FN FRAUD. read more

After a problem with their machine, I had to pick up my suit and take it to another cleaner for rush service. Staff contacted me a day or two later very apologetic about the situation and offered free cleaning for my shirt and suit. I had another wedding to attend to the next weekend and they honored the offer; clean suit and no charge. Machines break down, stuff happens but they were able to make it up to me. read more

I just moved to Whittier and was looking around for a dry cleaner. I dropped of a couple of dress shirts and got them back with cuffs that were still dirty. I dropped off a second set of shirts just to make sure they weren't having a bad day. I guess I took too long to pick up the second set of shirts because the owner, I'm guessing Sam, called me on a Saturday morning to yell at me. I thought he was kidding when he started raising his voice, then he said he left me ten voicemails to pick up my shirts and screamed, "Are you going to pick them up or not?!" I never received a single voicemail from this jerk, let alone ten. Within 20 minutes I was in the cleaners where this guy again yells that he left me voicemails about my shirts. I simply told him give me my shirts, paid my six bucks, and left. I'd warn you to stay away, but if you have a thing for mediocre dry cleaning and harassment, this is definitely your place. Next time I get yelled at by my dry cleaner, I want at least leave with a dress shirt that looks like it was actually touched by a dry cleaner who knew what he was doing. read more

But her politeness at addressing the matter at hand was kind of appreciated. I searched for a new cleaners when I moved to this area, I tried out 7 different places all underwhelming, I found this place by accident and they are the best. I love the early 7:00am opening hour and sometimes there is someone there earlier, for the very convenient early drop off. The evening close at 7:00pm is also very good. The quality of work is very good, They do not operate their machines on Saturday, I hope they consider this in the future. I travel alot for business and appreciate and will pay for the tight turn around time. I also presented them with several pants, jackets and shirts for alterations and they all came out perfect, by my promise time at a fair price. I have used this dry cleaners in the past and found them perfectly reasonable. Apparently, their prices have changed. Maybe due to the pandemic, I don't know, but they have really gone up. I took 2 sheer panels in to be hemmed. That's it, just hemmed. When I picked them up, it was $30.00. I was completely shocked! The lady said I should have been given an estimate when I dropped them off, she was sorry. Now the hem job was perfectly good, no complaints there, it probably took 20 minutes to do. I think I will check out other dry cleaners next time. If you go here, get an estimate 1st! read more

I had a bad experience with another dry cleaner and was looking for a new one. I shop here locally and came across this place. I was very concerned at first but gave them a try. So far I have been very pleased with the quality of results and the service that I have received. It has been worth the price. I am extremely particular about my clothes. They have done a great job here. They come out fresh, clean, smell good and they get out all the stains. They even got out some very old stains from a vintage jacket that I had bought and cleaned it so well it looks like new from the store. Talk about quality! My clothes have been coming out beautifully done. The ladies there are also very nice, pleasant, professional and they listen to your requests. As far as the negative responses that I have read, I have not seen or experienced that behavior, and I hope that I don't. No business owner should conduct themselves that way. I am not the type of woman or customer that would tolerate that kind of treatment ever. I am Italian and Latin and believe me I will squash it and deal with it in a minute. I have tried many Dry Cleaning places from Downey to Whittier. Market cleaners is by far the very best. Very friendly and professional. I called at the last minute this past Tues. Needed to have some clothes cleaned by today. The owner said sure no problem. Noon time they would be ready. And I always request that all my pants to be hung not folded. If you care about getting your garments back in original condition I would not suggest coming here. If you're ok paying a very high price to have things ruined, you just may have found your new cleaners! We brought our comforter that was about three years old here on a Friday and the following Monday got a call that they needed to see us. My wife went there to find that the comforter, which was once red, was now yellow. Needless to say, my wife was not the happiest woman in Whittier so I called "Sam" and spoke to him. He made every excuse in the book, even blaming me for him ruining the comforter: - it didnt have tags on it with directions (wait, you only know what to do if something has tags on it? This is a comforter, not a NASA space engine) - in his 24 years he's never seen anything like this (don't care, I care about my comforter you just ruined...plus after 24 years of experience you still need tags with directions on it?) - he was willing not to charge me for the water and chemicals of his my comforter spoiled (mighty kind of you) At the end of the day I settled for a check for about 1/3rd of what it's going to take to replace with a like comforter. I had an easier time working with merchants in the Grand Bazaar in Instanbul - and those guys were less combative, too. read more

Actually, this is ZERO stars. Terrible work, very expensive and horrible service. They screwed up my very expensive pair of jeans. They made one leg longer than the other. I returned it so they can fix it and they never called me to tell me it was ready. When I walked in, the person (some female) standing there eating saw me and as soon as I told her my name became very defensive and gave me some silly reasons why one leg was longer than the other. She took zero responsibility. I just stared at her and asked her if I can now take my jeans and she laughed at me. I told her she was very rude and unprofessional and she continued to laugh at me. I told her I would never return and she continued to laugh at me. Please do not go there.
