I was just getting a trim, but she was so meticulous and asked all the right questions so I would get what I went in for. Sometimes you'll get hairdressers that try to point out the flaws of your last cut, or things that need to be fixed, but Blue was very complimentary and sweet. After she blow dried my hair, I realized I should have asked for more to be trimmed off. I felt so guilty, but she was so kind and immediately offered to trim more. After she was done, it was perfect! This salon feels really clean, modern, and airy - plus it's in a great location. Make sure to ask for Blue, she's the best.

I went in for a spiral perm with clear reference photos and left with a result that did not match what was discussed and was assured was possible. Within weeks, the curl continued to fall out, and at this point there is very little curl remaining--even with styling products; what a loss of $460! After multiple attempts to follow up with Pamela Coryell the owner and Piage their "perm specialists", I did not receive any timely responses from either. When Pamela did finally reply, my concerns were dismissed and the outcome was blamed on my "hair canvas", including claims that my ends were lightened and too porous. This is simply not accurate--my hair is NOT colored, and I have had previous spiral perms which held well 8+ months and have matched the spiral perm look requested. To be certain I was not off my rocker, I had another salon in evaluate my hair that very same week I got the perm, and they confirmed the perm did not properly take, did not reflect what was asked for and they said I should be refunded. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability from Salon Technique. Instead of acknowledging that the service fell short, the responsibility was redirected onto me the client! I requested multiples times for a refund and was denied and the only offer sent back was that I could return and re-perm little ares here and there with no promise that they would take! UNBELIEVABLE - I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision. My experience says beware and do not go here. I expected professionalism and accountability, and unfortunately this salon does not hold to this level of professionalism. UPDATE 4/25/2026 JUST RECEIVED A SPIRAL PERM FROM Avy The Curly Girly at a different salon in Fullerton and I got EXACTLY what I asked for (see photo) and to boot... for way less! He is accommodating to any request, open to suggestions, and even giving advice on what looks best. This tells me that he doesn't just provide simply what the client wants, but is willing to go above and beyond in providing input to best fit the needs and expectations for whoever sits in the chair. He has truly made it a safe space to converse, as his friendliness and his willingness to share or listen has made time fly. Won is hard working to go the distance to give me what i've wanted, no matter how challenging the appointment is. He handles through every detail with patience and care. I will continue to visit, feeling confident and happy with myself! :) He is definitely my go-to!

Recently, I wanted to get my hair cut by her again but she gets booked so if you want your hair cut by her, book a good amount in advance!! Instead, I booked with Alice. Her english seems to be a little limited but I didn't mind at all, she was very kind and I just played her a video showing the haircut I wanted. I got a long layered haircut with some curtain bangs, and cost me $130. I only complain a little because I'm broke lol but otherwise I suppose it was worth it, because it's one of the better haircuts I've gotten in my life. Also, my hair was extremely long (butt length) but Alice handled it well and was also able to finish the haircut in about an hour. Incredibly patient, always wonderful, never needed more than a description to know exactly what I wanted. One thing to know going in is that Ashley keeps it real with you. Once you understand that, you realize it is actually one of her best qualities because it means she is completely focused on your hair. I moved and tried to save the drive. My hair paid for that. I rolled the dice on a local salon and asked for a soft natural look on my dark hair. They bleached 80% of my head. Went back to fix it. Came out looking like a tiger. Orange, blonde, dark brown, black, all at once. Went back a third time. Left fully orange. My hair was nearly beyond repair. I reached out to Ashley. She had me come in for a consultation on a Wednesday, saw the damage in person, saw my inspiration picture, and was shocked. We booked that same Friday. She blow dried between every round to check the tone. Never rushed once. Fed me her favorite Korean snacks and got me completely hooked. By the end of that night she nailed it. The color, the softness, the health Not many stylists can lift naturally dark hair, correct that level of bleach damage, and preserve the hair all at once. That is a rare skill. Went in for a magic perm + cut since over call she told me it'll be $250. She asked how much length…read morethe cut so I asked for a slight trim but she ended up chopping a large portion of my hair (make sure she cuts the RIGHT length u ask for). The perm procedure took place (slightly different from the traditional, normal straight perm process since she did the neutralizer step while my hair was soaking wet dipped in their washbowl.) She also cut my wet hair while it was still soaking wet immediately after rinsing my hair post the breaking bonds step, instead of blow drying and flat ironing it (other places cuts ur hair while its dry). After she blow dried my hair after the final rinse, she charged me $270, different from the price she gave me at the start of the process saying "haircut itself is like +$30." I won't ever be returning due to this scammy malpractice *** update below: I told her that I prefer English but doesn't mean my Korean sucks which would cause miscommunication in the pricing. I was never communicated in either Korean or English that the price was an estimate, I was given a solid price no range or the word "about" was used during the call. I was never informed before the service that there would be extra steps in the service due to my hair condition - this should have been communicated before so I can decide whether or not I'd be able to pay the extra $20, instead of receiving upcharge price after all those additional "steps & curls" which I never asked for. The curls could have been done with a curling iron myself after the cut + perm, I never asked for permanent curls. I never had a single bad of this experience at any hair salon. I am honestly hoping for a hair undo and refund/my money back if possible
