Someone said Fenix does mechanical and carburetor work and might be able to evaluate the condition. 6/7, I met the operations manager, PREPAID $750 for an evaluation of the mechanics, & was told the info would be ready in a few days. 2 weeks later they sent an inspection list with items they thought needed attention. I asked that the information be prioritized and quoted. 2 weeks later later they sent a quote for services (2X the purchase price of the coach) but no priorities. I told the ops manager I needed a priority list as previously agreed upon. A week later I arranged for a friend to give me a ride to pick up my coach, however, as I was leaving, the operations manager sent a text about signing a release to pick up my vehicle for which I pre-paid a service. Then Mike sent an e-mail stating "in the agreement you signed when the vehicle was dropped off, we charge storage fees for situations like this'. If the vehicle is not removed in 24 hours, storage fees will begin at the rate of 60.00 per day as you agreed to in our vehicle drop off contract. The vehicle can NOT be released without signing of a waiver. If you drive away with it we will notify N Charleston PD." 1. I started an assignment out of town the next day so this was inconvenient & very expensive. 2. No statement referencing storage was documented nor discussed. 3. A licensed mechanic cannot legally hold a vehicle where no monies are owed. 4. Mike is not a licensed mechanic. 5. The only set of keys were with the vehicle. 6. This guy stole a motorhome I bought for work and renovated it for himself. 7. These pictures are of my motorhome on his lot where he is renovating it. What a dirt bag. Being new here from Atlanta I still don't have a "neighborhood " auto repair shop so I had no idea where else to go except for a Honda dealership. In route I decided to Yelp auto repair centers and this shop came up with 5 stars. Because it was on the way I said what the hell and stopped to check it out. Thank the good Lord I did because it was a home run. They had my vehicle in the garage before they even knew my name and I was on my way back home in less than an hour. Total cost $145 plus $9 for a part and that included flushing out the freon and recharging the system. Both Firestone and Honda wanted around $99 just to evaluate and wanted me to leave car the afternoon. It would have taken longer just to get the paper work done in the amount of time it took to get me on my way at Jimmy's! Don't be fooled by the cosmetics of the building or the area they are located, truly a wonderful experience and there is a auto parts shop right next door. Thank you so much.
