At JTs', they were courteous and looked at the car. They just had too much work to be able to do the job at this time - they said all the shops in the area were really busy. But at least they talked to me and looked at the car. Then I went to Platinum. I parked my car right in front of their office window, walked in and said I needed an estimate. The receptionist said an estimate was $50 and would apply to the work. I said I wanted someone to just take a look at the car to let me know if they would even do the work and see if they would even have the time for it. I didn't want to pay $50 if they wouldn't even do the work or have the time. "The car's parked just outside, I just want someone to see if you will even do it". But she wasn't having any of that, said "We're good", essentially meaning goodbye and go. I said "Thanks for the HELP" and left.
