Talk about "coming through in the clutch!" My initial wedding florist ditched me TWO DAYS before my ceremony. I won't harp on this, but it's definitely a valid lead-in to my review of Mockingbird Florist. After receiving the low blow from "initial florist," first thing the following morning (mind you, it's now one day before my wedding) I'm frantically making calls around Dallas for someone to 'HALP!' My source of reference is of course, Yelp. Boy am I glad that I landed upon Mockingbird Florist. The first person that I spoke to immediately had empathy for my dire situation. She quickly got the manager on the line who agreed to save the day. I told him my wedding colors and I basically said, "just hook me up. At this point I just need flowers." Most gracious manager agreed and urged me to come in to see what he could do in person. Keep in mind, all I needed was a bridal bouquet, two bridesmaids bouquets, five boutonnières, and two corsages. This was a garden "micro" wedding, so no floral decor was needed. Thank God. When I arrived, most gracious manager already had put together a beautiful bridal bouquet idea. Due to my dire situation, I quickly agreed to purchase the bouquet as he displayed, with the bridesmaids versions just being some sort of scaled down version, and everything else consisting of 'white.' Whew! Mockingbird had everything delivered to my ceremony venue in plenty of time without issue. I paid $607 for all items. I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone, but should you find yourself in such a pickle, check with Mockingbird Florist. I'd be willing to bet that I received a better outcome than if "initial florist" had upheld their end of the deal. read more

I selected a beautiful heart shaped wreath from funeral sprays for my father-in-law. He was a big fisherman! I went to about 5 stores and all I came up with was a strand of fish from Joanne's fabrics. The gentlemen that helped me at the florist Saturday before July 4 said he would paint and come up with a nice design incorporating the fish in the flowers. I have to say the entire spray with the fish could not have been more perfect! They were painted a navy color ombré style. I was so pleased! Wish I had taken a picture. But the pics I have posted are the arrangement from website and the fish I purchased. Thank you again for taking the time to make such an important arrangement perfect for him! He would have love it. My sisters original wedding date was scheduled for today, March 28. Unfortunately due to covid-19, they had to reschedule their wedding date to a later time. I called Mockingbird Florist Wednesday, March 25, for a Saturday delivery. I found out the next day my sister and her fiancé wouldn't be able to accept the flower delivery Saturday, so I called Mockingbird Florist Thursday and asked for a next day (Friday) delivery. Without hesitation they said they could have the flowers delivered with no problems. I called my sister yesterday evening to ask how the flower arrangement looked. She never received them. I get a message today (Saturday) stating the flowers were delivered. I'm extremely upset that she didn't receive the flowers as scheduled and that they will be sitting at her neighbors house for the next couple of days. I assumed since i spent over $200 on the flower arrangement plus an additional $32 on tax and delivery fees and spoke with an Mockingbird Florist employee she would have received them on time. Classic bait and switch. Several days ago I placed a special order for Mother's Day. I was to pick up the order myself today, Saturday. Upon arrival I was told that they had trouble finding my order and were looking for it. I have order confirmation on my iPhone. After about 10 more minutes the guy came back and said they had some "glitch" in their system and did not have the flowers I ordered. Therefore, they wanted to replace them with roses. This means that he wanted to charge me at least double for something I did not order. In addition, upon closer inspection I found that they charged me for delivery even though I clearly specified that I would pick up the order. I recommend staying away - far away- from this unscrupulous florist. read more

The location was great for us, but parking was a little difficult. The shop was a feast for the senses. The absolute best florist in this part of Texas! I don't know how they do it but their creations are out of this world fantastic, exotic, fresh and reasonably priced!!! I kid you not! They create minor miracle arrangements on a regular basis. Anything from standard arrangements to the most fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about them. I have purchased arrangements and at Valentines day I throw in a box of chocolates, so I don't know how they do for events, but I'm fairly sure they will not disappoint. I've ordered from them at least 17 times since 2015. I've spent over $2K with them and it is worth it. In all those orders they messed up only one order and bent over backwards to fix it, in fact they have gone way beyond nice and my wife loves it and her friends think WOW, where do I come up with these flowers. It is ALL Mockingbird Florist and me being smart enough to find them and stay loyal to them as a customer. I hope they keep improving because if there is some sort of national contest for best florist, this shop should be there.
