Respectfully, this club is horrible. The security is probably the worst security out there, and they target certain people based on race or ethnicity etc. They seem really welcoming at first, but once you pay it's a done deal, they will kick you out for the most absurd/random reason, and then not refund you your money. I tried to be reasonable and talk to someone to try and work something out, but they were extremely rude didn't even take the time to talk to their customer. This is a bar in California and if someone is out of state like Washington, then you should scan it or black light it. They had nothing and just assumed it was fake so kicked him out. Bought NYE Tickets to this "event" thinking it would be a really fun night, turns out it was the worst. First off, didn't know about the 2 lines at the entrance. One for over and under 21. So we wasted about 20 mins in the first line and a guy that works there says there's another line if your 21+. We get in that line, get ID checked, get wristband, show our tickets to have the "main bouncer" and says to show our tickets again so we did and he wasn't buying it. Then he decided to charge us $100 a person to enter. (i don't think so) I ask another security guard how much to get it he said $80 so I asked another he said $45 but I can do $30. Tell me how this is okay? I did respect one bouncer (Carlos) he was straight up with this and said I have no idea why they are charging you different prices that's on them. I won't be back here. Best decision was the leaving here, also when paying in cash, make sure to request a receipt. Thank heavens we did because we originally told us the bill was $96 for 4 drinks paid with a $100. The waitress brings us back like $4 with no receipt. As a waitress myself, I've never taken someone change to them without a receipt. I mean, it's common sense. I'd give a no star if i could because they be bullsh*ting their flyers. Last night (09-30-21) they had a end of summer event which said everyone is free before 10pm if you RSVP days before. There was a huge line outside already at 9 and my friends and I were already in line by then. We waited a whole 40 mins thinking we were going to get in for free, just for them to fake some bullsh*t and say they were "held back" until it hit 10pm. Basically nobody went in for free, they lied and said the everyone was free before 10pm but they didn't even let anyone in before hand. They literally waited until it hit 10pm to start letting everybody in so we could pay full price. I asked the bouncer like around 9:40 if we were still getting in for free since we were already in line before 10 but it was "held back", they said they extended the time because apparently no one was inside yet and something was going on. Once we got to the front some dude in the hat said we had to pay full price because it was already past 10pm.... No one that works there are on the same page but at then and there i realized they bullsh*tted the whole event and pocketed everybody that got there early. It would be fine if they let maybe 50 less people in. But there is literally no room to move as it is now. Don't waste your time, most of the time it's not even country music. And there is barely any free dancing, it's all dances you have to show up early for and learn. When a 2 step song does come around you can't even do it without running into people, the dance floor has you packed like sardines. I just wanted a place to show up late to and dance a little and drink a little. Couldn't even get a drink tonight. This wasn't my first time here either. And the last time was just as bad. Came here for a meet up event on valentines day. $3 cover before 7, $5 after. Supposed to be drink deals but the bartender said the deals were only for happy hour that ended before 7. They had $3 PBRs which I passed on for Blue Moon. They apparently don't consider Blue Moon (which is owned by Coors and made in Colorado) domestic beer and charged me more for it. If they want to pull that they should start calling them "specialty beers" because non-domestic is total shit. Bartender was nice but I did see her take a dollar from my payment and put it in the tip jar. I didn't say anything because I know I won't be back so I won't have to deal with anything shady at a later date. Tuesdays they have a taco bar with $1 tacos. They were decent and who can pass up tacos, so that at least was a win. The dance instructor was awesome, she taught the steps well and would move through the group making sure you were picking it up before moving on. Asked several times if we wanted to practice again and then after several times through turned on the music. The regulars (or at least better dancers) were also super friendly and helpful in showing me the steps I was getting wrong. I liked that they play contemporary music in addition to country too. Two words... Line Dancing That's all I am really here for. I've been dancing my whole life. I've belly dance, pole dance, hip hop, modern, salsa and ballet. Line dancing is something that I recently tapped into. I like that on Tuesdays and Saturdays you can come in for classes at 7pm and at 9pm is when you show off your steps. The atmosphere is causal and fun. It's country and line dancing all night long. If you are looking to free style and dance however, then this is not the place. They have average priced drinks and a great bar. They also have a tacos out in the back for those that are hungry. On Saturdays it's 18 and over, not 21 and over. The vibe is great and it is spacious inside. My only complaint is the smell of those smoking travels inside and it is disguising. read more

Out of a crowd of about 100+ people. i was only 1 out of 4 asians. no joke. i felt like i was in the middle of a KKK initiation club meet.... i was scared, shy, timid and confused. hahaha. luckily, i had my friend named mr. corona help calm my nerves. i love him, he makes me feel super confident and good! he's always chilling by the bar for about 6 bucks. not too shabby i might add. when people mentioned that there will be line dancing, i thought people were going to hold on to each other shoulders and dance in a line. i didn't know they were actually standing adjacent to each other and moving to the songs.... i think it should have helped if i went earlier since they give free lessons... but i like to come fashionably late to everything. It does cost 5$ bucks to get into the place. they have a semi big dance floor in the center of the room, and its located right next to the DJs. they also have bbq outside and a huge smoking patio as well. to be honest and fair, they do play some hip hop and pop music... but its mostly songs singing about family, beautiful Love stories and heartaches. No mentions of rims, drugs, patron and fucking bitches here, you'll have to go to santa ana or dtf for that. read more

Orange County surprises me with many things and one of them is In Cahoots. Located in Fullerton this place is a country club literally with cowboys and cowladies all about. This was my first experience and I seriously felt a whole lot of country going on. It had line dancing the music was bumping and just the atmosphere was friendly and playful. Many people from all different walks of life, ages were in this nice establishment call In Cahoots. Even the name is amazing! Staff was soo friendly and nice and made our experience fun! Our drinks were getting poured like they were on a mission of making us have a fun time. I liked how they have plenty of chairs and tables to sit on and even though it was quite crowded it was still able to breathe. A very very large floor was present and even outside of that dance floor people were moving and dancing too ! Now, while the price of the drinks is GREAT let's remember that in terms of margaritas that you get what you pay for so don't complain if you don't like it; after all it is a country bar so just get a $2 beer. If you're a first timer have no fear becasue lessons start at 7:00. First up is a couple's lesson so ladies, grab yourself an elderly cowboy and guys, grab the hand of a Texas rose and hit the dance floor. I had my first experience at In Cahoots last night and I had such a great time. We arrived early and there was a lesson going on. The instructor is way friendly and helpful. If you're new to line dancing, it's a great help. Also, I got to learn a new dance. As it got later and the place filled up, there was a great energy. I'm still a line dancing novice so it was nice that people were friendly and didn't get mad when I messed up or missed a step. In fact, the crowd was so friendly, someone even helped me out during the dance. Drinks are reasonably priced. I'd say they should consider getting taps installed because I personally prefer draft beer but it's not that big of a deal. DJ was super friendly and played my request almost right away when she found out it was my first time here. If you're looking for a a high-energy place to go out, dance, and have a few drinks, I would definitely recommend In Cahoots. read more

All of the bouncers were so rude and would come up to people on the dance floor and kick them off if they weren't doing the dance right. I was a Borderline regular and have been trying to find other places to go to fill my line dancing needs. Within the first hour or so I was there, it was pretty dead. They taught one lesson and pretty much every single person got up to learn! It filled up a lot as the night went on and was a very young crowd. (I'm used to seeing more diverse ages). This is a great place to go to be around other young people. The music is very loud, which just means this is one of the first line dancing bars I have been to that I thought "I wouldn't take my mom here"! They played a good mix of line dances and two steps and I love that the DJ announced what was coming up in the line dance set- easier to plan bathroom breaks. Downfalls: the food there is basically just a DELICIOUS taco cart outside- so no real kitchen. But if you like a street taco, bring some cash and get yourself one. So good. Other than that, there isn't really a "grill" part to this place, which was hard to tell from the website or from Yelp reviews. Water is not free. I actually really hate this part which is pretty much the main reason why I'm only giving 3 stars. Especially with such a young crowd, people go overboard and might not want to spend $2 on a bottled water. (I'm such a mom, sorry). Other than that, I felt the drink prices were reasonable! The bartenders prefer you keep your tab open. Overall, a good crowd, good dancing, fun vibes. Overall rating: 3.5 I went to InCahoots as a part of a team bonding event with my coworkers so we were bound to have fun no matter who else was there. We went on a Wednesday, the 18+ night, so that everyone could attend. We arrived before 6:30 pm to avoid paying a cover charge and the place was practically empty. We took advantage of the empty dance floor by having one of our coworkers, who is an experienced line dancer, attempt to teach us a dance or two. It was fun. At 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm, they have free lessons. I don't remember the name of either of the dances I learned but the first was a couple dance and the second was a solo dance. The instructor was very patient with us and went over each part until she was sure we felt comfortable. After learning it, they played two songs to which we could do the dance we just learned. There were plenty of couches and chairs to relax in when you needed a break from dancing or just wanted to watch the more experienced dancers who's synchronization was actually really impressive. There were a few dancers who were more than willing to help us learn the other dances after the lessons were over and that was very nice of them. On the down side, the bar charged for water and the cover charge for those under 21 was $12 which is just a little too pricey in my opinion. The cover charge for 21+ was $5. They had food available in the club but it didn't seem very appealing and was clearly overpriced. I ended up leaving around 9:30 pm and it had started getting really crowded so I can see how it could easily get cramped and uncomfortable in the evening especially if you aren't familiar with the dances. If you plan to go, I definitely recommend bringing people you know you'll have fun with and won't be shy about dancing in front of. Line dancing is a little bit about skill and a lot about just having the dances memorized so don't feel discouraged if you don't get it right away. It's not something I would do all the time but it was definitely a unique experience and I had a lot of fun with it. read more

Any positive review you see is fake or from someone they personally know. The security is the absolute worst! They are all crooks. They steal, lie , and they are very disrespectful and inappropriately touch the women. If you aren't Mexican they don't give a F about you. Matter fact even if you are Mexican they still treat you like crap. If you know them then you get special treatment. My friends and I came here on a Thursday night because blue buckz was performing. And he didn't come out till the last 5 minutes but anyways, they said if you got there before 10 that entry was free with a ticket. We purchased 3 tickets. They didn't let people in until 10. FIRST RED FLAG. It was SO PACKED with so many people the line was WRAPPED around. They were yelling at us and just being nasty and rude. When we got inside they said it was $20 each. I told him that there was no point in us buying tickets then and he said " you wanna come in or not because I'll call security " I said for what. He called them over FOR NO REASON on me and my two friends that are girls. And there were 3 large Mexican men that grabbed us and groped them and pushed us out and said they would pepper spray us. I was livid. We spoke to another security and he let us back in. Okay fine. We paid the $20 and went in. You would think everything would be alright at this point. WRONG. I won't lie the music was good. The STAFF INSIDE IS SO NASTY AND RUDE!! As if you're bothering them when you're spending YOUR MONEY. Then they started saying it was $3,000 to be sitting at a table. Like what ? We are college students and young adults we just came out to have fun and support your establishment. If you didn't have it you got kicked out. My friends were still in there but VERY upset. I went in the line again, and he snatched my ID and said you won't be getting this back. LIKE WHAT??????? My whole drivers license. They were all on power trips. He was being so rude and at this point I didn't care about going back in I wanted my license. He said call the cops or you get nothing. I flagged one down because they were driving by anyways. And soon as I did that he said " TAKE THE S*** AND GTFOH F****T" I was flabbergasted. That made me very upset. Night ruined. I stood and waited for my friends. And they had so many people that bought tickets eager to get in waiting in the cold and turned them all down and said "GO HOME WE ARE NOT LETTING YOU IN " and threatened to pepper spray people. They were on huge power trips and weren't even real security guards. Just fake overweight men with protruding stomachs who tried to intimidate people. Ummm illegal much??? And they get mad when they get called out for being corrupt and fraudsters. Everyone ended up going to the hookah lounge and other places. Honestly GO TO LA. Or go anywhere BUT HERE. We waited for hours with a lame DJ who couldn't keep it hype. Not to mention the bathroom was flooded and the floors were nasty. YG came on around 1am and performed for about 15 minutes and left. It was a total waste of money and a way for the company to rip us off and make a profit. I had my two friends go to the door and ask if they will still honor our advance tickets. The doorman said "we'll if it's past the time we won't honor it". I really didn't think incahoots could get much worse but oh hell was I wrong. I am 21, almost 22, and I went with two friends who are underage. The bartender is supposed to put alcoholic drinks in white cups and non alcoholic drinks in clear cups. My friends both got non alcoholic drinks but the bartender put them in white cups. An insanely rude bouncer saw my friend drinking out of a white cup and kicked her out. I brought over the cup with NO alcohol in it and tried to explain to him that it was just a coke but he had no interest in listening to what I had to say. The bouncer cussed me out and would not listen to a word I was saying... it was extremely unprofessional. I finally talked to another bouncer who actually listened to me and he tasted the drink and realized that there was no alcohol in it, so he let my friend back in and got her a new coke. I appreciate the second guy that helped me out, but that first bouncer has absolutely NO business working there. My past few experiences at incahoots have not been the best and it's really disappointing because I have been going since there since I was 18. My parents met at the incahoots in Glendale almost 30 years ago, and thats also where my dad proposed, so my whole life I've been excited about coming here. I don't think I will be back to incahoots too much anymore. This place has gone downhill way too much and it's honestly more stressful than anything else.
