This same employee clarified a couple of items after I thought I knew what I was ordering, only to discover that I was ordering the wrong item. In order: a double-double protein style with grilled and raw onions, no spread, extra mustard, and no salt on my burger or my fries. I also ordered a double-wrapped Flying Dutchman. The female employee who handed me my order was hard-working and friendly. The drive-thru lane service was very efficient; I had my complete order within 6 minutes of placing it, which was GREAT service. It still uses the outdoor speakers, rather than attendants and was not backed up on Azusa Avenue. This is one of the more old school In-N-Out locations where it is strictly a drive-through location. This is my first time here at this location in particular when I saw the line wasn't too long in the middle the day I knew this was my opportunity to turn in and get some food. It was a no brainer, I had to stop in. My go to order is usually a cheeseburger or double double animal style and I'll also get chopped chilies to add that extra kick. They have the speakers where you can place your order first then you wait in line till you get to the pick up window. If the line is a bit longer they'll have the team member out with the tablets putting in your orders. Then you pay and get your food. There are a couple of parking spots here in the parking lot for the folks that prefer to walk up to the window and order. The good thing about this location is that it's really close to the 210 so it's a convenient spot. read more

I can't believe I'm actually writing a review for In-N-Out. I thought all the In-N-Out restaurants I've been to had consistent customer service, food, and quality, but this Azusa location is a huge disappointment. Every single time I go, something is wrong, and my order is always different from what I requested. I ordered animal style fries *without* spread, and they gave me animal style fries *with* spread. I asked for fries *no salt*, and I got fries *with salt*. I ordered a cheeseburger with raw onions for my toddler, and that's all I got--just onions and a burger. Where's the lettuce and tomato? I asked for light bread, and I got a regular burger. I requested my burger to be cut, and once again, it wasn't. If you don't cut burgers, just say that! Every other In-N-Out I've been to always cuts my burger--either in half or quarters--depending on my request. It's so frustrating to keep getting the wrong order every time. This location is never consistent, and it's ruining my In-N-Out experience. Do yourself a favor and drive a few extra miles to Glendora location--they always get it right. read more

This old school style in-n-out burger joint is a very small shack with two drive thru windows. They usually have someone taking orders with a wireless device to help speed up the process. Although this place is very small, this in-n-out is just as tasty as all the other bigger restaurants. I don't recommend eating there since there is really no restaurant seating. Well there's always a first time... I drove all the way over hear in the pouring down torrential rain to satisfy my craving for an in n out double double. Boy was I disappointed... We all know that you have to practically inhale the fries while they're still hot or else they're no good. Eat them hot and they're amazing. Have them cold and they're the worst. Well these fries were cold from the get go. They were also crunchy like potato chips. The worst!! Let's move on to my coke. I love strong cokes with lots of carbonation. So I order mine with lite ice so that it won't be diluted. In n out usually delivers on the coke formulation. Not this time. I took a sip and it was so watered down. I thought I'd taken a sip after the coke was gone and the ice had melted. It was that watery. Now let's move on to the burger. My burger was COLD!!! With white iceberg lettuce instead of green. Off & On, In-N-Out. We had been driving for several hours, and we were both hungry. We used Yelp to find a nearby In-N-Out Burger that is close to the freeway. Bingo, one just two blocks off. This In-N-Out location has two drive-thru lanes, along with a walk up window. The drive-thru lines were very long, which is very common for INO, so we took a pit stop break, while I ordered at the window. As a convenience to the customers, there are a couple of picnic tables for enjoying one's meal, where the cars exit the drive-thru. The teamwork demonstrated by the workers here was excellent. Everyone was friendly & efficient, working together to get orders quickly to their customers. We got ours, and were off & on the freeway in around fifteen minutes. Good job, guys! read more

The absolute best burgers at the best prices with the friendliest service thst makes on think of Al's on the show Happy Days. The ambience includes 40s style paper hats worn friendliest staff I have encountered at a burger place by far. If that weren't enough, the workers were bringing extra sauce and ketchup to my table and picking up my trash! I had to look around to make sure that I didn't see Marty McFly and/or Doc Brown had somehow transported me to the 50s with them. The only reality check was that I wasn't paying 50s prices. As late as 2020 I was still able to feed four people with shakes and animalized fries for $30 and while I admit the price has increased (along with everything else in the economy), it still the cheapest high quality fast food you can get. I actually wanted to tip these folks but wasn't given the opportunity on the card reader, nor did I see a tip jar here.(had to leave some change on the table) Contrast that to buying a latte or slice of pizza for $12 and then given the choice of tipping your 50%, 75%, or 95% (its never about 18% to 20% anymore) and you feel compelled to tip at least 75% as you are being watched only to have the barista or server to shake her head in disgust. My husband stopped today to order a cheeseburger for me and a double for himself as well as fries and drinks and it was so bad, I threw it away and made a peanut butter sandwich for us both. The patties used to be handmade but these were processed hockey pucks that were AWFUL tasting. The fries were obviously frozen and had the consistency of cardboard and even the drinks tasted like industrial solvent. None of it was edible. This is the location in Azusa so hopefully there might still be good ones, but this one is just awful. read more

I've been to a lot of In-N-Outs, but this one is a bit different than other ones since it's extremely geared towards cars, so don't expect to sit down anywhere. The drive thru line extends out to Azusa Ave so expect to wait a minimum of 40 minutes to an hour to order. The food's fresh, they take your order while you wait, and it's the quality is exactly what you'd expect from other In'n'Outs. The sign's green which is probably the only thing that you'll notice that's different from this place from other In n Outs. The other thing that's different is that their takeout is given in a box rather than a bag for some reason. Worked great when you want to eat the food in the car.
