    Bad fries
    Justin E.

Such a shame as a lifelong fan! My concern is that EVERY time I get lunch here the fries are too hard, burned, or have black/gray spots. I've never had this severe of an issue with any other location. Where is the quality control?! Literally every time I get fries! Over half the fries are bad so don't get them.

This is still the old fashioned IN-N-Out and very efficient. The staff work fast and I was out in no time. It still uses the outdoor speakers, rather than attendants and was not backed up on Azusa Avenue. As always, my No-Salt Cheeseburger with grilled onions was made perfectly for me to wrap up and take to work; I'm not sure I'll make any friends cooking the grilled onions in the microwave though...

This is the best place around fast convenient. Excellent food great service love this place.

    A "Flying Dutchman"

Service was great, however I ordered a Flying Dutchman and got a burger patty with cheese. Definitely disappointed as I was looking forward to trying one.

I can't believe I'm actually writing a review for In-N-Out. I thought all the In-N-Out restaurants I've been to had consistent customer service, food, and quality, but this Azusa location is a huge disappointment. Every single time I go, something is wrong, and my order is always different from what I requested. I ordered animal style fries *without* spread, and they gave me animal style fries *with* spread. I asked for fries *no salt*, and I got fries *with salt*. I ordered a cheeseburger with raw onions for my toddler, and that's all I got--just onions and a burger. Where's the lettuce and tomato? I asked for light bread, and I got a regular burger. I requested my burger to be cut, and once again, it wasn't. If you don't cut burgers, just say that! Every other In-N-Out I've been to always cuts my burger--either in half or quarters--depending on my request. It's so frustrating to keep getting the wrong order every time. This location is never consistent, and it's ruining my In-N-Out experience. Do yourself a favor and drive a few extra miles to Glendora location--they always get it right.

My first time coming to this restaurant, I came ask for my double burger and some fries also a water They gave my hamburger and my fries, but no drink. Also, the meat was burned and the fries had alot of salt and little of fries the worker was very nice her name was Nancy.

This old school style in-n-out burger joint is a very small shack with two drive thru windows. They usually have someone taking orders with a wireless device to help speed up the process. Although this place is very small, this in-n-out is just as tasty as all the other bigger restaurants. I don't recommend eating there since there is really no restaurant seating. However the drive thru worked just fine. The burgers and fries here were very fresh and delicious as usual. Service here was very friendly and cheerful. We didn't wait too long for fresh food.

Took a long time to get my order via the walk up window!
    Marcus L.

Decided to order through the window since I didn't realize you couldn't get into the drive-thru lane from the parking lot. Bad mistake! Took forever to get my order eventhough no one was in front of me. I saw car after car go through while I waited an eternity. The window ordering is definitely not their first priority and I recommend avoiding it at all costs!

    Spread packets

I was at this location last night i ordered 2 #1s with a shake and asked for 3 packets of spread. I added it to my food began to eat only to realize it tasted and smelled funny and yup expired packets of spread over a week ago it ruined our food and couldn't eat it afterwards

Awesome burger, fast service and hot looking men talent, without ambiance. Stopped here after seeing the Rabbit Queen

Well there's always a first time... I drove all the way over hear in the pouring down torrential rain to satisfy my craving for an in n out double double. Boy was I disappointed... We all know that you have to practically inhale the fries while they're still hot or else they're no good. Eat them hot and they're amazing. Have them cold and they're the worst. Well these fries were cold from the get go. They were also crunchy like potato chips. The worst!! Let's move on to my coke. I love strong cokes with lots of carbonation. So I order mine with lite ice so that it won't be diluted. In n out usually delivers on the coke formulation. Not this time. I took a sip and it was so watered down. I thought I'd taken a sip after the coke was gone and the ice had melted. It was that watery. Now let's move on to the burger. My burger was COLD!!! With white iceberg lettuce instead of green. See the picture. If it wasn't raining so hard, I'd turn around and get my money back. I am soooooo disappointed. Lesson learned...don't go to in n out on a slow night where the food doesn't turn over quickly. On a slow rainy night, they sunk to the uncaring level of McDonald's. What a waste of $10.86. I tossed the whole meal.

I placed an order online for the Tom's Super Burger (Medium rare) and a large chili cheese fries. The interior of the store gives off an old diner vibe with lots of seating. It was empty when I went around 6:30 PM. There is more than plenty of parking in their lot and includes a drive thru as well. When I came to pick-up the order, it wasn't ready yet. There was a couch near the counter so I sat there and waited for the order, which took ~ 10 minutes. My first impression was that the burger and fries were a large portion. The burger was decent and hit the spot for the craving. You'd get everything you aspect from bacon, cheese, avocado, lettuce, etc. IFor the fries, it was a bit of a letdown. Some parts of it were crispy, and others were not. The cheese didn't really melt. Chili is really only layered on top and not enough for the fries at the bottom. Burger is decent if you're in the area. Order well in advance or expect a wait.

I will gladly and without hesitation put Canyon City Barbeque up there as some of the best Barbeque I have ever had in my life. When I say I dream of their Barbeque, I mean it. Just writing this review my mouth is salivating as I think back on the food. We ordered the Canyon City Sampler, and it is without a doubt the way to go if it's your first time. It was enough meat for 3 hungry adults with leftovers. The sampler let us to try every cut of meat they had, and every cut is barbecued to the highest level of quality for the cut. The brisket and ribs were our personal favorites. I was also blown away by how perfect the chicken was. Every side is pure deliciousness. Don't sleep on the cornbread. I wish we would've ordered even more. The texture is perfect. Crisp crunch on the outside and perfect moisture on the inside. The way cornbread should be. The Mac and cheese and coleslaw were absolutely delicious as well. We all wish we would've bought some of their Barbeque sauce to take home. They have 2 main sauces, one for pork and one for beef. I would happily drown myself in either. Our server was very polite, attentive, and made amazing recommendations (though I'm now convinced I could close my eyes, point at the menu, and be a happy camper lol) I seldom have reason to be in the area, but I now will be looking forward to making a trip back to specifically to grab some Canyon City Barbeque.

Ended up getting a cheeseburger, onion rings, chili, cheese, fries, and a kids teriyaki bowl. Let's start with the good. The chili cheese fries are phenomenal. Their chili has a perfect level of spice, a super meaty with no beans. It's melting and gooey and warm and the portion size is good. I would happily come back just for this. The onion rings on the other hand we're disappointing. They were large and they actually look like they're homemade, but they were so limp and as you can tell from the color, not cooked enough at all. I like my onion rings to be crunchy and these were nothing of the sort. Play definitely have potential there if they cooked them longer. The cheeseburger was fine. As you would expect from a roadside stand. Nothing special, but nothing offensive. It's a little hard to judge the teriyaki bowl because it actually didn't come with this famous homemade sauce. It was just plain chicken on top of rice. I thought the chicken was kinda flavorful, but it was a little thin, so kind of dry. And the portion size was not great even for a kid. Definitely needed more meat and less rice. I did get two other sauces. One was kind of like a sweet-and-sour and the other one was... I'm not actually sure because I was too afraid to taste it. Maybe like a chili sauce? It was thick like salsa. But nowhere in my bag was there the teriyaki to be found. I feel like if your name is best teriyaki you should make sure you put it with your rice bowl. Would definitely come back again for chili cheese fries. I don't know if I would eat anything else. Cost us around $30 for this.

I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House
