Couldn't believe what I saw on both Yelp and Apple Maps, 4.8 stars and over 100+ reviews and this spot is in Compton, my city. Didn't even know a spot like this existed. Busted a u-turn going down Alondra so I could go back to Atlantic then make that right and slide to Compton Blvd and make that left. A few streets from there on your right side you'll find boulevard gastropub. Sitting next door to some other business which is right next to a big parking lot which is free by the way. I've parked in this lot at least a couple of times just to go to that taco truck and never noticed gastropub. Immediately when I walked in it was good vibes and the sense of a good atmosphere. I was greeted by the owner and a young lady who was the bartender. The owner is real cool. We had a short conversation I shared with him how I discovered his business and informed him I do reviews as well as post some content on my social media platforms in hopes of businesses receiving more attention and customers. Unfortunately, due to them not having an alcohol or liquor license, some of their drinks such as the cocktails are more so wine based drinks. So please don't come here expecting to get some Don Julio or Hennessy. Ain't gone happen lol. I had a Classic Mojito and enjoyed it. The price was $10 which I found exceptional. The food was delicious. I recommend the Blvd Burger as a go to if you can't decide on anything else. I loved it so much I had to make a video. And definitely try the Voodoo Wings. You won't be disappointed. Just imagine buffalo wings with lemon pepper seasoning. Cuz that's what it is and they're fire. No bs with the ranch dressing too. I'm definitely returning for another visit. I can see this being a new frequent spot to pull up to and hang out. I love the ambiance, my drink, the food here and the customer service. The restaurant itself is small but mighty, with a cozy feel and a menu that delivers. Everything is made to order, and they offer a rotating selection of local craft beers, which is a nice touch if you like trying something new. We ordered the spicy Korean wings, and thankfully they were not overly spicy, making them easy to enjoy. The real standout, though, was the Blvd burger. It was excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their burgers. Overall, the prices were better than most places, especially considering the quality. Definitely worth a visit.

The order pick up window person shouted my name to the kitchen each time I checked in. Finally the 3rd time they responded, they start arguing, apparently my order was done a long time ago, and it was given to someone else. It took 30min to figure out that my order had already been done and given to someone else because there was no communication between the kitchen, order staff or pick up staff. no apology, just got my food after the argument 3minutes later...Food was average, definitely not worth a 30min wait.

"Consistent Quality and Great Service" I placed my order at 1:40 p.m. and received my food at 1:47 p.m. Item: 4x4 with chopped grilled onions and chopped chilies $9.50, and fries for $2.30 + tax (counter-eat in) $1.21 = $13.01 Service: The staff at this location are well-prepared and communicate effectively with the kitchen staff. I was the first in line, making my order quick and easy. The service was generally good, although I did end up picking a table that wasn't cleaned, it was my preference to sit there. However, I noticed that staff were actively cleaning other tables and even offered to dispose of my trash as I left. Atmosphere: The overall atmosphere was clean and well-maintained, apart from the one table I chose, which I wiped down myself. The staff was diligent in keeping the restaurant tidy. I had a really disappointing experience at this In-N-Out. Alyssa at the drive-thru was incredibly rude from the start. She had a bad attitude, smacked her lips at my husband while we were ordering, and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. Things didn't get any better at the second window. When we politely asked for extra spread and a box, the employee helping us seemed annoyed and acted like it was a problem to fulfill a simple request. To make matters worse, our food was cold and didn't taste fresh. Overall, the customer service was unprofessional, and the quality of the food was not what I expect from In-N-Out. I hope management addresses these issues so other customers don't have the same experience. read more

I've been to this In-N-Out on Central in Compton several times, and they always do a great job, but this visit really stood out because of Apple. She has an amazing personality and provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. She was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and made me feel like a valued customer. It's rare to come across someone who brings such a positive attitude to work, and it definitely made my day. The food was fresh, hot, and exactly what you'd expect from In-N-Out. The promotion allows you to choose chicken or tenders, but when I asked for the blackened tenders, I was told by both the employees and management that they aren't available with the deal. The confusing part is that if I place the exact same $6 Big Box order through the Popeyes app for pickup at this location, blackened tenders are clearly listed as an option. Either way, there should be better communication between the promotion, the app, and the individual locations so customers aren't getting two completely different answers depending on how they place their order.
