In-and-out burger is one of the best chain restauraunts I've ever eaten at. You can tell they hold a high standard within their organization. Their customer service is the best. Everything is clean and maintained. The kitchen is visible to customers and very impressive. For a fast food burger, it is absolutely delicious and prepared with care. They wrap the burger expertly in a ready to eat open face style. I love "the spread." Get you onions grilled if you like! Milkshakes are amazing. You must try one. Fries are good, some times great. You can get them covered in melted cheese. The menu is simple dont expect anything more than I've mentioned but enjoy it you will. read more

This is my first time at an in and out burger joint. We went through the drive-through. Very very busy place. The menu is surprisingly simple. Very few options or choices. I ordered the cheeseburger. I asked for mayonnaise and pickles, but they do not have mayonnaise or offer mayonnaise as an option. I like mustard, so I asked for mustard on my burger. I ordered a side of fries and sweet tea. The fries were delicious. The sweet tea was so sweet it was hard to drink. The burger was okay, but had so much mustard that all I could taste was mustard. I like mustard, so I was surprised not enjoying the burger more. They put a lot of mustard, I mean a lot of mustard. I was surprised at the size of the patty, which only covered a small portion of the inside of the burger. Small amount of meat, mostly two big buns. The buns were delicious. I do not plan on going back to any location as I enjoy mayonnaise and pickles on my burger. I do not understand the logic of not offering mayonnaise at a hamburger joint. To me, in my way of thinking, that is like offering french fries but not offering catsup at all. It just doesn't make sense to me. I don't like any sauce on my burgers, so they'll hold it or serve it on the side. Fries are good, but I like mine crisp, and they'll cook 'em longer if you ask for "dark." And all of this is really cheap. The second best thing about In-n-Out is the workforce. God, these people are so friendly and act like they really love doing this. I only tried In-N-Out about 6 months ago and it's become my favorite burger chain. Simple menu and good food. I like that I don't have to modify a bunch to enjoy a dairy free meal. Already had low expectations as in n out in Texas tastes different than California. I was surprised that there was no line and ordered immediately. Nothing difficult just regular burgers and fries with 1 animal style. WELL......30 fricken minutes later and multiple trips to the counter after 20 cars had gone through the drive through and 20 orders that came in after I had gotten there food I received my less than stellar meal. In-N-Out is what it is and most people either love it or hate it. If you're from California, you probably love it (or at least like it). I like it; I don't love it. I lived in SoCal for twenty years and probably averaged eating at In-N-Out two or three times a year. I like that In-N-Out specializes in burgers and fries and that's all they do. As far as fast food burgers, it's my opinion that In-N-Out is at the top of the food chain. Everything on the bun is quality and I like that the burger comes loaded with veggies. (I also like the basic Whataburger burger, but think In-N-Out is a bit better -if you get the double-double). I don't do burger and fries when I'm out and about too often, but I was in the area the other day. It was lunch time and I saw the In-N-Out sign and was compelled to pull in. I splurged on the double-double combo (with mustard instead of sauce) and felt extra fat-n-happy when I left. I ate inside instead of getting to-go or eating in the car. I think that's part of the In-N-Out experience. They're pleasant to eat inside and I like the white and red color scheme - it strikes me as a throwback to diner days. Plus the staff is super friendly and make you feel welcome and glad you came in. And the bathroom is super-clean. read more

Know the "secret" menu before coming. You will regret it if you don't. This In-N-Out location is great for me because it's right near where I work. They're typically busy during lunch, but they send a cashier out to take orders from the line to speed things along. I've never gotten a wrong item on my order and my food has always been hot and fresh. I usually get a Double Double with extra everything (double the vegetables) and fries animal style of I'm really hungry. If I'm trying to watch what I'm eating, I'll ditch the bun and get it protein style. Their fries aren't the best, but their veg on their burgers are super fresh and their signature sauce is awesome. I was on vacation last month and we went here right before we went to the ballpark. I LOVED IT HERE. The interior decoration was wonderful and put you in a good vibe.
