While the sandwiches are always fresh, the service leaves a lot to be desired. If you place an online order for pickup first thing when they open (earliest option is 1015), be prepared to walk into total chaos, even on a weekday. I am not sure why they don't have their staff start a bit earlier to get through the rush of initial orders. Or at the very least, they could inquire as to your name and put your order next on the list. Instead, the manager barked orders at her staff and made sure to tell everyone who walked in the door that "he was before you" in line. I watched several orders go on the pickup shelf while getting antsy to get to our grandkids school on time for the special lunch day with them. Annoying. One of the young men was kind enough to try to expedite my order (which was NOT ready by the promised 10:15) and I did appreciate his help. I'm not sure if it is better to walk in right at 10 and order at the counter, as it appeared that the entire staff was focused on online orders and let walk in customers stand around wondering what to do. Perhaps split your team to service those right in front of you and those online orders that appear to be VERY popular. Jersey Mike's is becoming one of my favorite sandwich shops. I never had any issue and love to watch them do their magic in line. Of course, you can order via phone or online and pick up there are plenty of locations, and generally, they are kept clean during the day.Ample room and space to sit and how during lunch etc.Its hard to go wrong here as everything I've tried so far is satisfying. My personal faves are the roast beef, Mikes' Philly, and the Italian. read more

This is the worst Jersey Mike in the area!!! This is the second time in a row Jersey Mike's has failed to include my entire order before sealing the bag for DoorDash pickup. It's frustrating to open a carefully taped-up bag only to find items missing again. What's worse--they refuse to take any responsibility and instead tell me to deal with DoorDash for a refund or go pickup it up myself (what's the point of paying for a delivery service and how was this DoorDash fault?) It's unacceptable that a business won't own up to its mistakes or make it right with the customer. I expect better quality control and accountability. read more

I'm a regular at the location and usually have a good experience. I ordered while the slicer seemed to be making a large order, so I was expecting a wait and that's no problem. I turn away and when I look back 5 seconds later my sub is ready for condiments. I was thrown off since it clearly wasn't sliced for me, but was fine with it since the current order was 5+ giants. I then ordered Mike's way No Vinegar, and caught the prepper as she added vinegar. She pulled all the condiments off but left the bread and meat/cheese - assuring me the "lettuce catches the vinegar" -and re-did the rest. I was again thrown off but went along with it. Now that I'm eating, very clear red vinegar splotches on the bun and taste is evident. I used to work in food service, a better approach is just to re-make the item. Uncharacteristic experience, maybe it's due to newer staff members. read more

Well, I don't know why some people have bad reviews here, but the people are nice, the food is always fresh, I never had an order messed up, and I met the owner - and she seemed super nice. I wanted to compliment Bethany and the young gentleman manning the grill tonight. The store was short staffed (2 employees rather than 4 to 6) with the owner on the phone saying they were coming in. I received excellent service, with a smile, despite the clearly hectic shift these two had walked into. I had a question about the roast beef that was answered with an offer to heat it up on the grill if I liked. The subs I took home were delicious, and the chocolate chip cookie fabulous. The two employees there tonight showed up, worked hard, and were professional despite suboptimal conditions. Well done! read more

Well it seems to be a pattern and the owner of this location must not care. The customer service is the worst of any Jersey Mikes location. I have a family friend that owns 10 locations around DFW and there is a huge difference. I waited more than 4 minutes and I was the only one in the store. Not even a hello or I will be right with you. I turned and walked out. Dear owner, no need for a canned response about how sorry you are. Let me come in and talk to your staff. I have been in the customer service/sales Industry for more than 21 years. The key to a well run business always starts with effective communication. At least one very rude staff member. I arrived to pick up an online order which hadn't even been started yet when I arrived...which is totally fine by the way. I didn't mind waiting and I wasn't rude. But I just continued to stand near near the pick up area and the woman immediately scolded me with a rude tone for standing there and then rather than starting on the order like she said she would walks right up to me and, again in a rude tone, asked me to move. She said "excuse me" but we all know the tone of person when they mean to be anything but polite regardless of the words they actually utter. Anyway, it was a stupid way to act when I wasn't even upset about needing to wait for the order. Although their is signage that states where to order, a rather demanding Manager scolded me/us we were standing in the wrong spot to order. Funny that I decided to write my first review on here, wanting to mention a lady that's always very polite, asks how I'm doing, remembers my difficult order, just overall pleasant in the busiest of times at there store and I see a negative review about the exact person. Hmm, Hillary was her name but most definitely wasent as described girl in previous review. Anyways, this is a very busy location and Hillary always seems to be awake when I've encountered her. Jackson was the man. Probably one of the nicest, most helpful, all-around good dudes that I've ever dealt with at a restaurant. It's literally Thursday, and I'm just now leaving this review because I still remembered the experience and wanted to give him the props he deserves. To sum this place up in one word: Grandslamwich! Jersey Mike's meat is fresh cut in front of you, the bread made daily, the ingredients all fresh and delicious. I know a hard working, good guy that works here and when I go in, I tell the man, "SURPRISE ME MIKE!" Needless to say I always get this massive, stuffed to the brim sandwich that's maxed out on flavor, but that's just my style... if you want a small sandwich that's always an option here too. Pretty good. The only other "Deli" style place near here is Schlotzky's, and I am not a fan of that place, so in comparison, this place wins. It's a decent sub place. They put a good amount of meat on there and the prices and selection are reasonable. I liked my sub well enough - club sandwich made "Mike's Way!" (whatever that is?). I've been to this Jersey Mike's a couple of times, and they've been pretty solid each time. I'm more of a hot sub fan, and I've had both the classic cheesesteak and the chipotle mayo cheesesteak. The latter was my most recent purchase, and while I did see the secret of their chipotle mayo (it's mayo mixed with chipotle Tabasco sauce; nothing wrong with that, it's good stuff), the sandwich meshes together nicely and the peppers/onions were just in the right proportion to the meat. I'd like to see a little variety in breads (they only have white or wheat), but I think this is actually part of their appeal: they're not trying to be a fru-fru sub shop, they're just wanting to be a solid provider of "normal" sandwiches. Food was good; the manager was a real A hole. Went in to order and she was rude. The place is not set up as it normally would be with the new regulations. Ordered then stood where the sign says order pick up. We could hear here complaining about where we were standing to other employees. She didn't offer any suggestions. Just complaining the entire time. Employees cooking and waiting on us were fantastic and the food was great but her attitude and rudeness was uncalled for. Yes, this is a chain. Yes, this is one of many sub-sandwich places in the area (in fact, there is another, unaffliated JM just east of this one. Yes, I eat here almost every week. Yes, this place gets 5 stars from me for consistent quality and great customer service from the staff. Normally, when you think of a restaurant, you think of your favorite thing on their menu, right? Well, JM has so many different subs that I crave, I honestly could eat here every day and not get tired. In the mood for a superior sub sandwich? Try a #5 (ham, salami, etc) In the mood for a hot, beef & cheese phillysub? Try the #43 (get the chipotle mayo and banana peppers) In the mood for a cold, roast beef and cheese sub? Try the #16 In the mood for something healthier? Try a #7 (turkey and cheese) or a #6 (tuna). I may have gotten some of these numbers wrong, but this shows how many different sandwiches I love there. The line is always out the door, but don't get that scare you. The team of folks behind the counter are as efficient as they are friendly. Oh and TRY the Watemelon Tea! I loved Jersey Mikes. It was always a stop when I lived in Jersey and went fishing in Seaside and Toms River. When I moved to 4S Ranch in San Diego and one opened a few blocks away, it was a Godsend. The walls were lined with JM bags signed by Mitt Romney and most of the (former) San Diego Chargers who lived nearby and ate there. The one in Southlake was a mile from home and great until this Saturday. My wife and kids were away and so I ordered a Chicken Parm. First, the chicken came from a fridge or freezer and went right into the microwave. Then, they had to look for the bread for a giant. It did not come from the "fresh" bread side but instead, employees search through a separate area and found two halves that appeared to be beyond their shelf life. Then, in a move I never thought I would see, they put the bread in the microwave to, "freshen it up". They put sauce on both breads, put in the chicken pieces, wrapped it as two separate sandwiches and put them both in the Microwave again. I got home and tried to cut it into quarters which was impossible due to the soggy microwaved mess it had become. It went into the trash. read more

MIKES WAY, ALL THE WAY!! This is the very best sandwich place that I have ever been to. The meat is cut right in front of you and you're given generous portions!! The bread is, of course, freshly baked. All of the ingredients are very crisp and fresh! Mikes way, which includes: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oregano, oil and vinegar (maybe salt and pepper too?) is absolutely phenomenal. All the flavors together makes a party in your mouth that you don't want to miss out on! Not only is the food great but the employees that work there genuinely enjoy working there. They are always smiling and in high spirits!! My brother goes there all the time, at this specific location, and they always greet him by name! They make a VERY decent sandwich. So far I've had the #5 Super Sub (provolone, ham, proscuittini and cappacuolo) and the #6 Roast Beef and Provolone. Both were ordered with everything (except mayo). They asked if I really meant everything. Apparently some folks order 'with everything' except this, this and that. 'Everything' is onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, 2 kinds of peppers, pickles and some sort of herbs/spices. The guy had a little trouble loading up that much vegetation, but it was worth it (to me). When you go in, one guy/person takes the order for the basic part of the sandwich - the type of bread (white, wheat or parmesan), meats and cheese all of which is sliced right in front of you. Then the sandwich is handed over to the 'condiment guy' who loads it up with, in my case, everything and then slices it and wraps it. Then it's handed over to the person who takes your money. If you order a hot sandwich like a cheesesteak or a meatball sub, the oven is factored in there somewhere. Hmmm... Cheesesteak... And it's lunchtime! This location just opened recently (I think within the past 2 weeks or so) and they seem to be working some of the kinks out like training new staff and just generally getting the sandwich-making rhythm down. They weren't particularly slow, but then there were only about 6 or so people in line ahead of me. By the time people know they've opened and start swarming the place at lunchtime, I'm sure they'll be the proverbial well-oiled machine (at least I hope so). read more

This location use to be a good place to come to get a decent sub during lunch, however, the last few months this location has gone down hill steadily. Today, there was a lot of horseplay and no one paying attention to the guests. Not only did we have to repeat our order multiple times, so did the other three guests that were in line. By the time the subs were finished, I was in a starring contest with the cashier, then they asked, "what did you get". This is our worst visit yet.
