Amazing and perfect and wonderful. I had In N Out for the first time when I went to California back in 2008, and I've been craving it ever since. When I was in the process of moving to Texas, I made a list of places to eat, with In N Out at the top of the list. I finally got the chance to go, and it more than lived up to expectations. 4x4 burger with grilled onions held together well, and the animal style fries were amazing because cheese. Topped it off with a thick and delicious vanilla shake. It's a bit out of my way, but I would walk a thousand miles (sorry, had to be said) for this place. I love in Florida and having heard of In-n-out burgers for quite some time I had to try it when I had the chance. The staff was very friendly unlike most fast food restaurants. I like the simplicity of the menu also. My cheeseburger looked like it was prepared with care. It tasted pretty good and was fresh however it was salty. I don't eat a lot of fast food at all. However I would prefer a whopper from Burger King over my burger here because it has a more pronounced grill taste. Glad I tried at as people from the west coast rave about this place. read more

Something about eating In-N-Burger in Texas just doesn't feel right. That being said it just doesn't taste as good as the west coast joints in my humble opinion. However it's still pretty good especially for arriving late to town I need to grab evening. I have been eating in-n-out for years. I am rating this location. My wife and kids walked in and the guy bum rushed us yelling "you gotta wear a mask". I paused and was surprised but not mad. "How can we eat with a mask". He said it's only while you order. Very stupid but ok. So my wife and I put on our masks but he insisted the kids wear it too. Our 5 yr old twins started crying as we tried to put them on(one of them being autistic), and the 2 yr old wouldn't even wear it. We eventually ordered and the place was absolutely filthy. This was my first time experiencing In-N-Out, since there aren't any on the East Coast. I couldn't wait to try it! Showed up on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. This is always a good indication that the food is delicious, but also poses a problem if you're dining in. Their dining room should be bigger. We almost didn't have anywhere to sit. Their employees were very friendly. A nice change from the misery many other fast food employees seem to be experiencing. On to the food- the bun was great! It was fresh and toasted and just had a great overall flavor. The burger as a whole was good. I did not get onions on my burger and took the tomato off. The fries were ok. There was nothing spectacular about them. They are made fresh and you can see the employees making them. I also got a chocolate milkshake, which was good as well. I don't get all the hype, but my 12 year old wants a double double every chance he gets. I do like the fries even though fries are the devil. I usually get a Flying Dutchman animal style because I try to skip the bun when I can. It's packed a lot of the time but you can usually get a seat by the time your food comes out. I love that nothing is frozen, with a simple menu of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, shakes and Double-Doubles. What most people don't know is the "Secret Menu" such as; Animal style fries, Animal Burger = Animal style is grilled onions and Thousand Island - Yum. Veggie sandwich, is a toasted bun, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions with the thousand Island spread. My favorite is the Protein burger, what makes this a "Protein burger" no bread - burger, cheese, tomatoes, onion slices, pickles, Thousand Island spread wrapped in leaf Iceberg lettuce. Potatoes are peeled - cut and fried in house. My son's first job was at In-N-Out, and in charge of the fries - that's when I leaned they were home made fires and there's a Secret Menu. Came in after midnight on a Sunday (12/4). So technically according to the clock it was Monday morning, but Sunday late night. I'm from Hawaii and wanted in n out while I'm here in dfw so I saw that it was open late and went after midnight. Jeff (I think that's his name, tall, tan) greeted me immediately, super upbeat, happy, talkative, informative. Asked about my day and answered all the questions I had about the burgers. Great employee, give this guy a raise. Got the 4x4 (4ct 1/8lb patties, 4 slices of cheese) and fries. 4x4 was awesome, everything I could expect/want from a fast food burger. French fries mediocre. Don't get me wrong, they were definitely fresh and up to par with in n out standards, but this restaurant chain (in general, not this location) has mediocre fries (sorry, it's true) and that's just how in n out fries always are and have been. This is just a review of this location, not the restaurants as a whole. I've stopped here twice and both times there's been a wait for reasons unknown. Tonight I sat with my wife and chatted while we waited but after 21 minutes, we finally went to the counter to ask. They all looked like deer in the headlights. The staff was friendly and they were apologetic when they told us that they must have lost our order. Essentially, they just don't have their stuff together. You can get right off the freeway (114) and right back on quickly. Their burgers are best with grilled onions, IMHO. Oh man. Just as good as I remember from my days as a So-Cal gal. We drove into Dallas late in the evening on our way to the lake house, and this preggo was starving. Even though hamburgers have not sounded good to me during this pregnancy, I'm not about to pass up an In-N-Out, and I'm so glad we popped in. I just had a regular cheeseburger and fries, and then after dinner we split a chocolate shake. Everything was so good, and I ate more at this meal then I had at probably my three previous meals put together. It was filling but not super heavy and just tasted so good to me. HOLY. MOTHER. OF BURGER. Alright, so this was my first time ever visiting In-N-Out Burger, and I am so glad I did. I visited pretty late at night, probably around 9:30 p.m. on a Friday night. There was a bit of a wait, but I don't mind waiting, especially if it is going to be good, fresh, hot food. Any oh boy, holy buckets was it good, hot and fresh. (I am drooling right now.) I ordered just a single burger combo, with fries and a soda and decided to try out a shake as well. On my burger, I asked them to add extra extra onions (because I love onions, honest, if you don't like onions, you're taste buds are not living.) They also asked me if I was eating in the car or taking it home, which confused me a bit; but I found out the reason why later. When we got to the window, my burger was half wrapped for me, so I can easily bite into it, the fries were how and fresh and the burger and fries were in almost a half box type of thing just so I could eat in the car! Almost like a tray! I was also given a place mat at the pay window as well which was pretty unique. When I bit into my burger, there was a sense of euphoria. Literally, it was almost like burger heaven. The lettuce was fresh and cold as if they just watched the lettuce and put it into sandwich; also more than just a single leaf of lettuce, might I add. Then the tomato was thickly cut as well, and also cold and almost like a tomato cut you would make for yourself at home. Then the onions. MY. GOD. THE ONIONS. (You guys, when I go to any other fast food resturant I have to explain to them that I want Exxxxxtra onions. I mean a lot.) But here, they have me a whole slice of onion, on both, sides, of the patty.. (I just gleeked myself cause I am salivating so hard. Gleeked = pretty much saliva shot out of my mouth because I am remembering this burger.) The burger patty was hot and juicy, and overall the burger was almost like Prince, MJ, Freddie Mercury, and Tupac had a party in my mouth. We proceeded to unload all 30+ girls to go in and get some dinner. They operated very smoothly and had excellent customer service. They had two workers taking all our orders and also writing them down to make sure that we didn't get each girls order mixed up. They were very quick and efficient in the way they worked. However once you receive your food you quickly snap back to the reality of the fast food industry. Sorry but I don't see what all the fuss is about... must be some "status" thing. I've eaten at In-n-Out three times and I doubt there will be a fourth. First of all they don't have mayonnaise.... not even packs. I've never been to a hamburger restaurant that you can't get mayonnaise. They told me they have a "Thousand Island Dressing" spread. I don't care for Thousand Island dressing. I realize a lot of people like it, and that might be why people think this is the greatest hamburger in the world. With that said, the hamburgers I've had tasted ok. Nothing special by any means, and definitely not the best fast food hamburger. Second, their french fries taste like salted cardboard. No flavor at all. I know they make their own fries and they are fresh, but they taste horrible. Third, it took 15 minutes to get my order today. The best they have done is 10 minutes. The people that wait in the drive-thru for 30-45 at In-n-Out Burger are nuts! I I've been told that the In-n-Out burgers in CA are a lot better than the ones in TX. I don't know. I wanted to try one in CA the last time I was there, but I'm not waiting 30-45 minutes to eat a hamburger. As for the people that think In-n-Out Burger is better than What-a-burger...
