In N Out burger is not located in Florida so every time I travel I try to find one. It is my favorite fast food burger joint and I don't eat fast food. That should tell you something. The burgers always taste fresh. The onions the put on top are so crispy. I always order extra sauce. Their sauce is similar to a thousand islands dressing and it compliments the burger very well. Normally each location has items that aren't on the menu. Specialty items. This location just had a triple and a quad burger but I know some other locations have a variety on special items. The fries are hit and miss for me. I like my fries crispy. Some came soggy and some crispy. But they definitely taste different compared to other fast food fries. I'd stick to the burgers and share fries. Their smoothies are good too but very thick. They're better eaten with a spoon. You either love love love In N Out or you don't. Personally I am obviously a fan. I get a double double with cheese and spread only. If you know In N Out, you likely know it is one of the most consistent chains out there. I have never been to one where the experience was any different. They are almost always busy, always polite, the food is fresh and consistent as it gets. It can take a little while, but not too long at all. This location is just as consistent as the ones out west. Clearly they follow the strict In N Out standards. I usually visit at least once when in Dallas for business. Of all the burger chains out there now, In N Out is still my favorite. I know I know. Who writes reviews for fast food? Reader beware as this review is very biased. I think In-N-Out is my favorite fast food chain for a burger. Typically I only like the Southern California chain while I'm in So Cal but this place has been solid every time I've been here. I don't do anything fancy and just get the double double which is the best burger here. The milkshakes are pretty good too. Now to the fires...it just depends. Some people like frozen potatoes and some like'm fresh, and I hear a lot of debate about the fries, but just give them a try. Although I'm trying to cut down on eating fries I still like these and they don't make me feel heavy and gross after eating them. Animal style fries are good too if you are fancy enough. I pretty much go here every time I'm in Dallas or until I want to try something else. Kids can grab a paper In-N-Out hat for free and people like me buy a shirt every year just for a souvenir. Meh. Not impressed. Not bad. Just didn't live up to the hype. Here's my take on the In-and-out burger. It's a good buy for a cheap burger. 10 bucks for 2 burgers, fries and 2 small drinks isn't bad. I ordered the animal style cheeseburger with fries. Thankfully I read reviews and knew what to order because there was no indication of any special order options. At all. The meat itself was not as flavorful as say, Five Guys. As I lifted the burger and saw the patty I heard that infamous line in my head, "Where's the Beef?!" Seriously, it was so thin I had to make sure it was still in there and didn't get lost with the huge lettuce leaves, tomato slices and special sauce covering it. This is the best staff of people that I have ever experienced at any establishment. They are great almost 100 % of the time. I have been to this restaurant about 49 times and I had 48 great experiences with them. I had one rude girl one time but I can chalk that up to life, the other 48 times the people are beyond amazing ! In-N-Out really do it right. A service establishment, no matter what kind, really looks good if you pack it with staff that are always doing something. Every In-N-Out that I have been to, there is never a shortage of staff. They dress nice, clean, and have friendly demeanor. This location was no different. Wait time was about 5-10 minutes. Right across the street from this location is 5 Guys. Between the two places, burgers are comparable. Both burgers have their own merits. Fries at 5 Guys are much better in my opinion though. In this visit, I just got Animal Style Cheeseburger and regular fries. The people taking the order were rather plain in terms of enthusiasm and service relative to the cashier. No big deal but just thought I'd mention that. Not like they need to be super bubbly and excited to take my order but just seemed a bit like they were apathetic and probably had an ongoing conversation prior to taking my order. Side note. Cruz just hit homerun to tie up the game bottom of 7th in Game 2 of ALCS. So yeah, good all around. I think the mystique of In-N-Out is losing its luster. They've been carrying on with name alone and their food good but not spectacular in all honesty. This in and out restaurant is the freshest! Staff is Super wonderful and happy to help you. The drive threw is a true nightmare and it will take you 15 mins to get threw it. But it's because there making it fresh every time. The restaurant is vary clean and so is the bathrooms. Love this place! It's a California staple but it's so great that they have it in Texas too! the food is so fresh and their sauce is great! What the hell? The service was unrealistically good. One of the guys there - Christopher I think - was just out of the world upbeat and happy. It was just shocking to me as I am not used to this level of service. He even offered us extra spread (first time having it -- so good) for the normally inedible fries... as if he knew. OK so this is the second time I've tried in and out and I just still don't see what all the fuss is about. There is nothing to brag about. The burger is average minus the fact they actually toast the bun, which I have a burnt bun once of the two times I've gone. The fries are bland they have an odd stale taste in my opinion. All they do is burgers which is fine but if all your going to do is burgers please wow me!! If you do like in and out burger that's fine too I just won't go back due to the lack of worth in the food. I love what this company stands for. Fresh food. Quality ingredients. Friendly service. The menu is simple and if you can customize your meals. Some items are not listed on the menu but ask and they will help out. The selection is small to keep consistency high and ordering easy. Yes it may take 7-10 minutes to get your order, but it is MADE TO ORDER No heat lamps and NOTHING is frozen! They cut their own tomatoes, onions and lettuce. They have their own meat processing plants to distribute to their OWN stores. They even have their own bread baked specifically for them. Let's see any other fast food place do that! The staff here is always friendly and if something is wrong, they will promptly correct it. It is a family owned-private company so the money they take in goes to staff, not paid out in royalties since it's not a franchise. That means employees earn more! Went on a Friday night and Nathan was being rude for no reason! To Nathan's manager he had horrible customer service. Moan while taking our order and when paying was complaining saying this is why I don't work weeknights while taking my card. Please don't schedule Nathan again on weeknights. It's only a 3 star for a couple of reasons, outside of that I'd give it a strong 4. My cashier is the one that greeted me at the door, he was very nice. He opened both doors for me and then ran in the back and took my order. Very pleasant to speak to as it was for sure an important question to know if I wanted onions or not! So with that being said, no onions please and a double/double with of course cheese, please! I dined in and it seemed like for ever to get my food, almost 20 minutes. I was just sitting there entertaining myself, however I did notice how clean the inside was. Fully stocked condiment bar, no mess on the phone and everything was squeaky clean as for as the tables go! I did observe the staff working very well together to get orders out to both drive-thru and dining area. Finally once my food came, I was kind of sad because I thought the fries came with some sort of sauce on top, the lady at the front told me I would need to pay like 4 dollars extra for it, I was confused thinking maybe I could just pay for the difference and she was trying to charge me like for another order of fries, I sad no worries, I'll get it next time. I forgot to ask, so it was my fault. But what got me is that when I sat down to eat this great looking meal with a Ice Cold Root Beer, it fries where so cold and so was my burger. Lunch time. First off, the place is amazingly clean. The counter staff is super friendly and vocal. I ordered the #2 cheeseburger combo and the counter guy made sure I wanted all the specific items that come on this burger, thankful for that because I do not want onions. I have a direct view into the kitchen and it was spotless. The staff was vocal & energetic individually preparing each order. Now for lunch! After a quick 6 minute wait, my number was called and the young man met me half way with my order. The cheeseburger was fantastic! Received exactly as ordered and presented perfectly.
