The amazing consistency continues.... Great service, great food, cheap lunch, what else could you ask for? Since I'm staying in Lancaster for a couple weeks for work, I had to come get my weekly in n out fix and this Lancaster location did not dissapoint. Stopped by for lunch at 11:45am and I was the second car in line waiting to order, I was incredibly happy about about this. After placing my order, I was out of the drive through in less than 5 minutes. Ordered a double double with extra cheese and that thing was amazing. Simply a 10/10. There is no other cheeseburger out there like In N Outs. After devouring it within 5 minutes, I was on my cheerful way. THANK YOU IN N OUT FOR ALWAYS BEING SO GREAT. read more

Great same taste, but the service is the slowest I have come across. They also don't like when you ask about the secret menu. It's always about a hour though the drive thru. I'll rather drive 20 minutes down the highway to the next restaurant but it willl be faster than having to wait in line there. read more

used to be the best, but no more. Ordered No1 & No 3, Burbgers were dry and over cooked, lettuce was soggy, buns were also burnt. Fries were mediocre at bst. Just not what we have grown to expect out of In n Out. Been a customer since the 60"s. Im afraid the end is coming, just another burger place at best. read more

I order the #3 animal style, protein style with chopped chilis, and my fries well done. Every time this location gets every detail right! Wow, this place is booming at 10pm on a Friday night! But it's still so immaculate (as always), and the service is fast, friendly and efficient. The AV Fair is happening this weekend and we weren't the only ones who decided to come here and grab a bite. The drive-thru line was maybe 1/4 mile? We lucked out and found a space to park and walk in. Tyler and Drake at the front counter are keeping the lines moving and everyone is being greeted with a smile. Kudos to the management here, they have staffed well! Angel is hustling around the dining room, keeping the tables and floors cleaned constant so every guest has a great experience. She's so sweet and kind while doing it, too! The Double Doubles are always good... has anyone ever been disappointed? Lord, how I love cheat days! read more

I normally never eat at In N Out, but today my wife wanted a double double. She ordered a number 2 combo and I ordered a single hamburger. Stiff was very nice and polite, but that's where it ends. The food came out and upon inspection I noticed that my burger had a small, wafer thin patty, which was smaller than the bun, which was burned and way over toasty. The lettuce was old and wilted. One of the worst burgers. I will never eat there, or any other I N Out. read more

I've been here a few times between 11 and 3. I can always find a parking spot (although sometimes, it's not easy) and the line to order is never more then 3-4 people deep. The staff are so cheerful and helpful, I love it. There's someone at this In n Out who brings you napkins, salt, and catsup if you want it. We love In n Out because of the consistency and freshness of the food. And we like our fries "light well" which is effectively frying them 1.5 times so they get crispy but not overly so. The women's room is large (2 regular stalls and a larger stall) and there's room if people need to queue up. But I've never had that experience. We moved my mother in law from AVCC up to a skilled nursing facility near us, so we won't be stopping here again unless we're zipping through. I think you should go find out what all the fuss is about. read more

I got a total of 5 meals and they messed up on all the orders plus they didn't give me 3 drinks out of the 5 only 2 of us ate the food because the rest are picky eaters and for the ones that ate the food they got a bad stomach ache and the rest history. I spent almost an hour in the drive thru line, ordered 3 double doubles (2w/ tomatoes, 1/w/o) and 4 fries, finally made it to the window and my order was repeated perfectly and I paid; first of, I said no ketchup and the lady at the window threw a huge handful of them on top of the fries, after she checked the first bag and handed it to me, stating "here are your 3 double-doubles. I let out go and drove home with dinner only to make it home to gums only 2 double-doubles, both w/o tomatoes, so I had no burger so the others could eat right away. I've never had such incompetence as I did from the person at the window an hour ago on Avenue L. Now I'm having to go to Carls Jr for my burger! Certainly not in and out, the drive thru line was down the street, I came in off of Avenue I through the parking lot and had to go back out of the parking lot and turn around to get into the line which was ridiculous. I would've gone somewhere else except I was purchasing food for a friend in rehab. So I chose to go inside and order. I had to wait at least 10 minutes for my order. Goes again, requests no onions with the person in the drive thru, the pay person, and the person handing me my food, puts loads of grilled onions on my burger and Flying Dutchman. ‍‍‍ Goes back to the restaurant after getting home and seeing my order, the manager comes out to help. I go home thinking I got exactly what I ordered. No, once again, I received loads of grilled onions on my animal fries after there were none the first time because I gave them everything back. This location has fantastic service, our cashier was very amiable and energetic despite it being 11pm at night. In-N-Out goes above and beyond when it comes to fresh ingredients. Juicy tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and thick, melted American cheese. That special sauce is addictive. The Hot Coca was very creamy and perfectly hot. It helped me warm up after a long road trip. My only critique is that some of the tables were not clean with food and napkins strewn on them. I, however, love their burgers and the friendly employees! read more

This will probably make me sound like a Karen but idc. This is a very overrated location. Went there on Friday n it was extremely packed in the drive thru. Nothing surprising about that but they can't even make the burgers right. Ordered number 2 with grilled onions and I received no grilled onions but they put peppers on it that ended up making me sick. Also ordered animal style fries and I kid you not, there were maybe 2 small grilled onions and very little spread. They gave me spread on the side but that didn't make up for the bland tasting fries. Without grilled onions, these fries are nothing special. It was almost insulting how little grilled onions they gave me. You've lost a customer. There are so many better places to get a hamburger starting with 5 guys and sonic. I'm not exaggerating either, there is no flavor to the burger patties here. One of the few places I have to go to when visiting California! This In-N-Out is relatively big which is great because it is always busy! There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Although it gets super busy, the wait time isn't that long which is a huge bonus. We did an order to go and the food was hot and so good! They have always gotten the order correct which I found to be a rare thing from from other establishments other than in-n-out here in Lancaster and Palmdale. The service is always fast even though there is always a huge line. The burgers are great and come along with a cheaper price than McDonald's or burger king. Four stars cuz I hate the long lines ! And that's not just this location, that's every location you go to. But it does move pretty quickly for the most part here. The food is always delicious, but sometimes I'm not a fan of the fries ! As for as the Ambiance, I don't know I'm always in the drive through . I have been to locations where It's kinda dirty. I don't go to In-N-Out often and have not had any poor experiences ...'til NOW. McDonald's worst day was heads above this day at In-N-Out. Got there right when they opened ...10:35 am ...only three cars ahead of me. At least 5 minutes before the car at the window drove off. Then another (minimum) 5 minutes for the next car to leave the window. Another 4+ minutes and it was now my turn. My order was IMMEDIATELY given to me, and I was out of there in 45 seconds!! I was late to return to work, so I got on the freeway before I sampled the fries ...COLD AND HARD!! Started in on the burger ...half the burger (bun) hard and stale!! The tomato was like mush. If I wasn't in a hurry to return to work, I would have taken my order back to the restaurant and thrown it across the counter ...lucky them!!! I threw most of it in the trash. read more
