I will say, I'm not much of a burger person... but these seemed quite meh to me. Given all the hype about Murfreesboro getting an In-N-Out, I thought I would be more wowwed. Even the fries weren't that awesome to me. I like the way they do the burger patty, although thought it could have been seasoned better. The buns were delicious, but so sugary. The service is fine, you order at the front and then have to fight a family of 5 for a table. The tables are constantly full it seems. All of the hype kept me away since opening until today. Usually, I do not rate chain restaurants because the best i could ever say was, "Seems to meet corporate standards". If I have a bad experience, I will toast that place but if something above and beyond corporate standards, happen I will say that as well. Overall, the food was above most popular chains, but only on a par with the better ones and below standards for local restaurants. I will comment on the food quality, service and ambiance. When first presented with my burger, I was impressed with the presentation. Handed to me with the open side facing me, it looked like it was overflowing with filling. When I got to my seat, I discovered that was not the case. Imagine a clam shell, open in the front and hinged at the back. That is how the burger was presented with all the fillings bursting out the open side. When I reassembled the sandwich at my seat, I put all the filling back in the center of the bottom bun and replaced the top. Guess what it looked like..... a regular hamburger! Note that in visual ads, burger places use some tricky images. For instance, they may use toothpicks to hold the top of the bun open so you can see how "generous" the stuff inside is. Now for the taste test. The bun was neutral and unexciting, but it did hold together all the way to the end. There was so much filling, it was hard to actually tell how the meat tasted. In part, this was due to the very sharp raw onion I agreed to. Vegetables were fresh and tasty, but I cannot remember the taste of the cheese. Chocolate flavor in the shake was great. If you have loose dental devices, you should take them out because the vacuum you have to draw to start the flow up the straw is best achieved with a pump. Boy they really greeted you on entry, the person taking the order was very pleasant and even tried to make me happy with some humor. The burger was ready in a reasonable time. Dining room workers came around frequently and asked if I were satisfied or if they could take my tray. The best news of all regarding service was REAL counter people taking my order! I was never directed to self serve panel and in fact, can't remember even seeing one. There were signs and cones all over the entrance warning you the drive-through was closed. Still, I saw cars at the pick-up window. Being brand new, of course the ambiance was bright, airy and well lit. I got there at 10:36, six minutes after opening. By 11:00 seats were about 60% full and there was a line to the door. I'm so glad I avoided this hassle. read more

30 minutes after getting in the drive thru line we got our food. Thats about what the wait time was at our local SoCal store. Food tasted the same, and the same exceptional customer service. For those who don't understand the attraction, the meat is never frozen, the potatoes are cut minutes before frying. Minimal menu, well except for the secret menu. To enter this one is a little wonky. If you come up by Canes, dont enter there. Go on up last the In-N-Out then come around the backside. The food was good, if you go in, you can put lemons in your drink. They have no music playing, but they keep saying numbers of orders that are ready. Update visit The food was well prepared, hot, and tasty. Even with a chartered bus ahead of us our wait to order at 5 minutes was a fraction of my first visit. Even with the crowds the dining areas, inside and out, were well maintained. As before we opted to order inside at the counter. Even with a very long drive through line our order to pickup time was about 12 minutes. Tip It's a popular place so expect to have a wait and a crowd of people. Allow some time to accommodate the wait. Be flexible and willing to switch between driving through and in shop or inside dining to out. read more

In and Out in Tn? What? Ok we frequent back and forth between TN and AZ, so we always have In N Out a few times a year. Seeing this location was a wow moment. A few things if your an In-N-Out person. Highly recommend animal style-basically cheese and grilled onions, they will make you a great bun less burger. As for the fries, people either love them or hate them. This is a new location and still working out the kinks for service. One of the only place to still get a burger meal under 10.00. Alright. As someone who is super familiar with and has eaten In-N-Out for years in California & Arizona, this location nailed my order. Dare I say it was better?! Insane. I know. My animal style fries & single patty flying dutchman were so dang good. I haven't had In-n-Out since I left AZ 2.5 years ago. Saturday afternoon drive-thru took about 20 minutes. They are really doing an amazing job considering how busy they are after the grand opening. The staff was all fantastic, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant was super clean, with staff constantly on patrol to keep it that way. The food was exactly as it has always been, which for me makes this perhaps one of the best backyard-style burgers you can get anywhere. I know not everyone appreciates fresh cut fries, but theirs are really good for those who enjoy them. They're so busy they have an overflow parking lot and a line outside for folks to wait for a chance to get in. But they are running the place like a well-oiled machine. Obviously for those of us who previously lived somewhere In-N-Out had restaurants, there's a big element of having them in Tennessee perhaps making the experience better than it was. Being a CA native, it has been a dream come true having In-n-Out available to us again!! We've missed their tasty burgers and fries with your milkshake. The burgers are thin, so we always order double, doubles (double patties, double cheese). They have so many options for different dietary needs - keto, gluten free, even vegetarian. My favorite way to order is a double double with extra grilled onions (you can ask for whole onions) and protein style (wrapped in lettuce). I order their fries well done. This location gave me the best fries I think I've ever had at an In-n-Out, surprisingly! The staff were wonderful! They brought some staff from CA to help with the opening, from my understanding. They were all so helpful and kind, true southern hospitality. I think they were maybe even a little over-staffed for it being the first night. Well not much to say for this one! Everyone been storming this place! everything on the menu is great! But the fries... yea those are not hitting the spot for some reason. The burger was really good. The place is still packed most times I ride by. The restaurant is good with the children. They were all running around with the In-N-Out Burger hats. . I asked one of the managers if there is a better time to eat and he said lunch or after dinner. The dining area is bigger than most other fast food places. Noisy due to the place being packed. This review relates to a dine-in experience on a Saturday afternoon about 2:20 PM. First, the parking lot was packed with no available spots so we needed to park at a neighboring business and walk over. Once inside it was packed, with no seats available. We decided to get the food to go but we were lucky enough to catch a family leaving their table. It took 23 minutes to get our food. Per usual, the burgers were excellent. Chocolate shakes are okay but they're better fast food shakes out there. Every time I order In N Out fries, I have to ask myself why I ordered them. Had them done 'Well' today, but they aren't much better. I love In N Out, but (at least on a Saturday) the experience isn't worth all hassle of getting the food. I ordered two double doubles w / fries well done and a large drink. / Dr Pepper...it's good and nice do...do...do(lol) All in all the food was good. Customer service is always great, everyone had a smile on their face. Ambiance was great. If you get there earlier enough there's no wait. The only thing that I didn't like was that I asked on two separate visits if they could double wrap my burgers to go, since the top part is also left exposed. Today we ordered 2 double doubles animal style, 2 orders of fries (one animal style) and one cherry Coke. Everything was hot, fresh and extremely flavorful. The drive through had 2 lines of cars and plenty of friendly workers quickly managing the 2 lines, keeping everything on track. There was another reviewer who posted about 4 hours ago that the drive through must have been closed. There are signs if you pull in directly from Medical Center PKWY that say that lane is closed. Because of the large number of cars using the drive through, you enter from the street behind the restaurant where there is room to form 2 lines. First visit to an In-N-Out Burgers in decades. I ordered the double-double animal style combo and a hamburger. This restaurant has been super busy since opening day. But all things considered, service was pretty fast and very friendly. There is a limited number o seating inside, thankfully another couple shared their table with my wife and me. My double-double was very tasty and served nice and hot and made to order. My wife said her burger was tasty. Wish my fries were a little more crispy. Worth noting, you know you can order crispiness to your liking. The ambience at the restaurant is very casual like any traditional burger joint. But seeing how they just recently opened for business, the lines will be exceedingly long, especially during peak hours. But it will be worth the extra time. read more

I've been waiting to try In-N-Out for years! I'm talking over a decade! was so excited when it was announced they were coming here and then they started building and then finally they opened! Today I finally got a chance to try it out! Went through the drive-thru, ordered a double double animal style no pickles, two fries one regular and one animal style. We went at just the right time, right before the line got really long. I was so excited I forgot to take a picture before I tried out the burger. First bite, mouth full of pickles. Second bite, another mouth full of pickles. I'm officially bummed at this point, but I try to keep my hopes up. So, I take off all of the pickled and try another bite. The pickle taste is so strong that that's all I tasted for the next couple bites. Then hit the cheese. I wish I had hit pickle instead. The cheese tasted like cheap fake cheese. Maybe I'm a cheese snob, but the cheese may melt nice but the taste is terrible. I tried the regular fries. The taste is just not there. It doesn't taste like fries. It's like it potatoeless potatoes. They were salted, that was nice, but they had a weird taste and texture. The texture was like that of bread fruit that had be parboiled, frozen for a while, and then fried. I don't know what's up with the fries but they were disappointing as well. I tried the animal style fries and that cheese was just salt and terrible. Is it Kraft cheese? I don't know but it isn't good. I haven't been this disappointed in food in a very long time. I really wanted to like In-N-Out. You hear all of these diehard fans praising the food and the taste, but it was a hard pass for me. I probably won't be back, it's just not for me. The service was nice and I liked that you could see them making orders through the windows, but that's the only positive thing I have to say. I had no idea there are 3 locations in the Nashville area, as this is huge for the city. I was in the area for work and decided to stop in as the last time I had it was years ago on the west coast. I got the Grilled Cheese with some fries. The Grilled Cheese included lettuce, tomato, onion, sauce, and cheese. Basically everything but the meat patty and it was still very delicious. It was very busy inside but it didnt take too long at all to get the food. Staff was very friendly with everyone working extremely hard to get the orders out. They moved through a small line very quickly but every customer maybe because they're excited just creates this frantic energy around everything! The burgers were tasty and the cheese was nice and melted. The bun had a little crisp on the edges which was great. It didn't taste very seasoned though. The low point of the meal was the fries. They tasted fine but their consistency just broke apart really easily. Almost like a stale or frozen consistency but hot. I don't know how best to describe them. Finally made the trip to get one of my favorites, single with cheese & fries. I was flabbergasted when we got there and saw the parking lot with cones lining different rows. Almost left but decided to see how long it would take. Wow, the lines moved fast and in about 20 minutes we were giving our order to the sweet girl taking orders. All employees were nice and cheerful. Made it interesting & fun. Thought they would miss up order but they didn't. The food was just like I remembered, so, so good. At one time we lived in California and absolutely loved In N out burgers. Nothing has changed. The food was just as delicious as all the time as before. So appreciated that we have our own to go to here close to home in Murfreesburo. We had the most polite staff. I kid you not we opened the door and people were so nice and saying welcome to In N Out. It was such a great experience. We thought for sure we weren't going to be able to dine in but we found a little two seated table and snagged it. Very clean tables and the cleaning crew stayed on the floor. Constantly sweeping and wiping any table that came available. It was almost like a ballet of synchronicity. Grateful you're here. Please don't leave. I love your double cheeseburger omg Yes! The fries and oh my goodness the strawberry shake was a little bit of heaven!!! Was so happy to get to eat and enjoy this food. Haven't experienced an eatery in middle TN with that level of goodness for lettuce and tomatoes since... ? Cheese source from this region is better than west/southwest region & noticeable, yum. Service was great because they pulled their all-star seasoned employees from out of state for the grand opening. I hope the company can maintain the hiring & managing standard that makes "In-N-Out" what it is with the middle TN/southern employment market pool they're working with.
