I probably go to this In-N-Out Burger once a month at least. On March 24th 2026 at 9:45 p.m I went through the drive- thru. As usual the guy that took my order was very very nice & professional and so was the person that took my money. However, to my surprise, which was the first time ever that the people that give you your food were not friendly at all. There was no Hi how are you etc...No greeting whatsoever! All I could see when I pulled up was approx 3 to 4 girls standing there acting cliquey with each other! When I asked to get a fork for my animal fries I said "Thank you very much" and instead of answering back with "you're welcome" she said "Yeah" in a semi unfriendly tone! Just handed me my food without saying a word!...No "thank you"...No "have a good night"...nothing! Unfortunately I can spot this type of behavior a mile away because I have been around it my entire life and I've had to work around it also for years & years! If management lets it go unchecked it can affect everybody... Especially the customers! I just hope that In-N-Out Burger is not going to go downhill eventually like most places do when they let their customer service go down the drain!! If so I more than likely will not be waiting for 20 minutes to a half an hour+ in a drive-thru for a burger!! Sorry but my expectations for this business are super high. I'm headed home from Reno area and I take the 20 off the 80 and that ends me up here in Yuba City before I hook up to the 5 and zoom on home. It was about lunch, well a little early lunch, 10:45. Glad In N Out opens at 10:30! I'm doing something I've never done before at an In N Out and that's order my usual Double Double Animal style, "Protein Style", that's a Double Double minus the bun and wrapped in lettuce instead. All in the name of trying to be a little more healthy ...well, as healthy as you can get eating at In N Out! I even skipped the fries! The order taker had no prob with my request, same price as a regular Double Double. I dined inside as I thought this might get messy without a bun to hold it all together. 5 min or so later my number is called and I get my first protein burger at In N Out. Well, it kinda looks smaller than a Double Double with the bun. I guess saving those carbs and sugar and 150 calories make the burger smaller. I was glad to see the burger (lettuce wrap) was wrapped tightly in the usual paper exposing the top half of the burger and the bottom holding it all together. Still, this is gonna take some skill to eat this without making a mess. OK, first bite ... yep there's a lot of crunchy lettuce at first and then I hit the meaty and cheesy middle with those grilled onions ... yummers! OK, this Protein style doesn't give me that close my eyes, "OMG is that good!" feeling that a regular Double Double gives me, you know that first bite ... OMG! As I continue eating into this burger through the outer lettuce, I keep getting nice meaty cheesy flavors, but I do have to be careful unwrapping it and rotating the lettuce wrap so it doesn't all fall apart. Skill for eating many a messy burger I say! After finishing my first Protein Style Double Double, I gotta say, I'm still not quite a full as if I ate a regular Double Double with the bun, but maybe that's a good (healthy) thing. The experience was interesting and still tasty, but yep not as good as getting the bun included. I'll give this protein style a 4 star and the real Double Double a full 5 stars. If you need to cut carbs and or calories, and still want to eat at In N Out, this protein style might just be for you! You gotta skip the fries though! read more

We came to this location on a Wednesday at 1pm. Our order taker was quick and efficient. The restaurant was kinda clean....we ordered the double double animal style and two orders of fries. The cherry coke was good and well balanced for a fountain drink. The burger was well cooked and full of the appropriate fillings. The fries...great. I literally love this place! This is my daughter's and my favorite restaurant since moving to California. Their burgers are amazing. Literally everything is fresh daily. Their fries, which are amazing, have no preservatives. Their shakes literally taste like a shake mixed with whipped cream. It's awesome. Prices are great and you will get filled up. Amazing!!! I go there after volleyball practice. I love going there because the food and smell is amazing. The service is so good, there is a lady that comes and gives my little brother a hat and coloring book every time we go, she never fails to put a smile on his face. The in and out line may seem long but it goes by so fast! So their time management there is great! They definitely hire the right people and it's an amazing Christian restaurant. So everyone who eats In n Out burgers knows that not all locations are created equal. Many are just perfect but some are not. I am extremely disappointed in this in n out. I go multiple times a week and at least once a week my order is not correct. Tonight, I went into the restaurant and got my order to go because the line for drive thru was quite long. I got my order when it was called. It was the only order up on the counter. Not a single thing in my order was correct. I paid $15 to get a double double, animal style fry, and a well done fry. I am a big In-N-Out Burger's friend! I have tried many In-N-Out locations in Sacramento area and other cities. This one is one of the very good In-N-Out locations in my opinion! I am there a couple of weeks ago. They are the first In-N-Out I can walk-in to inside the dining room counter to order my food after many weeks of the COVID-19 lockdown. However, the indoor dining room is still temporarily closed. The outdoor setting is available. I would rate them five stars based on services and the burgers if not because they burned my well-done fires! I have always ordered the fires well-done when I am in any In-N-Out Burger locations. Sometimes it looks like regular french fries and some time is a little overdone. But this time is completely burned! The burgers are very good and the employees are excellent and super nice. The parking log is very comfortable with a lot of trees and a whole family of the rooster, hen, and their little kids. Great to be able to go inside to order food and not have to wait in the king drive thru line. The downside was that our burgers were oversalted. We're not used to that at an In-N-Out. Extra fantastic was that they had a staff person, Jennifer (yes that's how it was spelled) that made sure to wipe tables down after each group. The outside is open for eating, not the inside yet (last Saturday). Overall okay quality, just work on the amount of salt please. read more

This location is totally fine. The customer service is good and when I've visited inside it was always clean. I just do not understand the hype. The burgers are just ok. Slightly fresher than most fast food but they're not life changing like people act. The fries are pointless. So tiny and almost always slightly cold & limp. The shakes are good but let's be real, shakes are always good lol. This is a perfectly fine location if you like In N Out. I don't personally get it. You can get better burgers elsewhere including at home. read more

I've had the pleasure of coming here a few times and I have yet to be disappointed. I have to say, if you're new to the scene then order some well done animal fries and thank me later. The only downside I could see, is that it's always busy - which isn't their fault as they are moving seemingly 1,000mph.
