Located on Regent St. this spot has all their farmers market classics plus a great selection of sandwiches, empanadas, sweet treats, coffee, and even beer and wine. And just like the market you cannot leave here without picking up a loaf of their legendary Hot & Spicy Cheese Bread. It is fluffy, packed with pockets of gooey cheese, and has the perfect subtle kick of spice. Best when served warm! Service was quick like at the market but the store has plenty of indoor seating and a patio where we enjoyed our treats. Tables are well spaced and the noise level was minimal. I parked on the street directly in front of the shop but they have a handful of parking spots located behind the building and accessed through an alleyway/driveway near the front of the shop.

We bought their famous cheese bread & a giant cookie for the kids to share. The restaurants space is so cute and thoughtfully set up. There is an indoor dining area and a really fun backyard area with an outdoor bar, TVs, and lawn games! There's parking in the back of the building and everything is shiny and new. Staff were friendly as well! What a hidden gem, and one of my new favorites.

I know that's…read morethe typical thing you think of for Mexican food, but it has been on my list to find places that serve it in the Midwest. After trying different variations from other restaurants in Chicago and Madison, I have to say they have the best carne asada fries (titled Loaded Fries under the shareable section). The fries are wedged with an assortment of quac, sour cream, their own cheese sauce, and pico de gallo. What made it so good was the ratios of the ingredients and the cheese sauce. The portions are enough for two people to share, though you may leave with clogged arteries. Although at times there may be a language barrier with staff, they were attentive to our needs and checked on us regularly. A fun fact is that they are located behind the grocery store aspect of the place. Vibes were great.

GF got 2 steak and one chicken tacos. She said steak was good but chicken was flavorless. I got lengua and cauliflower. The lengua was not cleaned well or seared so it was just gray meat with veins and other sclera in it. Cauliflower was typical bar food "deep fried buffalo" style, but on a taco. Guac was decent. I think the gal making margaritas mixed up sugar and salt and our drinks were salty. Poor service - total of 3 people attended our table but nobody returned to check on us. Total experience $45.

Along the walls they have some booths, and they also have a very nice counter space. Here, you can come in and just have a cocktail, or you can order your meal and eat it there, as well. The food items they offer are interesting. A modern interpretations of traditional Mexican and Latin culinary delights. What they offer is a really a unique blend of the modern, combined with the old school. Meaning, what you can order will be flavorful, made with great ingredients, and a fun presentation. In terms of drinks, they have a nice selection of beers, some wine, and they also do offer cocktails. So, for those who wan to enjoy a tasty margarita, or something like that, they're happy to make it up on the spot for you. This restaurant is attached to a large parking lot, so you'll never have a problem finding a parking spot. The staff here all seem really nice and are very helpful. Every detail on the walls, in the décor, and throughout the space reflects the cultural richness and folklore of our country. It was, without question, an emotional experience filled with wonderful memories. Tasting a liver with onions that instantly took me back to the Colombian Caribbean was unforgettable. The lulo, passion fruit, and mango juices were spectacular. The garlic-flavored rice, the lentils cooked to perfection, and the grandmother-style salad... in short, the food was simply outstanding. The service provided by Emily (Ecuador), Juan (Bucaramanga) , and María José (Bogotá) was a perfect 10 out of 10. I don't regret for a second having driven all the way from Chicago to Milwaukee (3 hours) just to visit this restaurant. I would return one hundred times over; especially because here you can truly feel the flavor, the energy, and the heart of Colombia all in one place.

Our server was late, never checked up on us, and we got our food before our drinks. We had to request to get checked out because our server never came back. While paying, the person checking us out didn't say there was an 18% charge already included for tip until after we had clicked our selection to tip them. Place is cute, very spacious. Tl;dr, Service was not good, but food was decent.

I wasn't sure if I'd like the vegan filling, but it was pretty good. Huge portion for the pasta dish, I had two extra meals from it. First time trying the pasta. It was an interesting alternative to the lomo saltado with rice. Finally, we got to take the dessert to go which was a nice option because we were stuffed. The tres leches cake was so good! Very moist, cinnamon forward, and not too sweet. It was my first time trying their desserts and I would highly recommend. I had a bite of the flan and that was very delicious as well. I recommend coming a little earlier than when you want to eat because it does take a little bit for food to come out fresh.
