I've been going here for the last year. I love the service they provide! I recently had the opportunity to get a mani/pedi at the Woodhouse Day Spa treated by my girlfriend. I chose to get the pedi only because the shellac mani I get here last so long, I'd rather pay to have my nails done here. I see Kiwi and Mimi, they are both terrific, but I've never had a bad service with anyone else. I would like to make a plea to all those reading this: if someone is having a service done, don't interrupt. I paid for that time and I'm trying to enjoy myself. Today two different women interrupted my service to make an appointment and to discuss the appointment following mine. I called to make my appointment, you don't need to speak directly to Kiwi to make your appointments. And to the lady with the wedding that she's going to.. you can discuss your colors during your appointment. Kiwi was VERY rushed today and looked very frustrated. My mani does not look up to her usual standards. If everyone would remember basic courtesy, we could all leave our appointment much happier than I am right now. read more

I've gone here twice; once for a full set of acrylics and another for an infill on that set. When I went the first time, it was my first time getting acrylics ever, it was $55 for the set not including the tip. The woman who did then honestly did a pretty decent job and I liked the outcome but they were a little thick in my opinion. When I went in for the infill, Sylvia did my nails and WOW. She is like the acrylic goddess. I have never seen one person care so much about a strangers nails, she probably went back and fixed my nails like 5 times when I already thought they were amazing. The infill was $40 not including tip. Definitely go here for acrylics, definitely ask for Sylvia. In addition, this is probably the cleanest salon I've ever been to. Despite the fact that they're doing acrylics, it doesn't have that potent nail polish chemical smell either. I'm so going back! read more

i went in to get a basic manicure with clear gel polish. i had also wanted some lettering which i called ahead of time to ask and confirm that they could do it since i usually get stickers, the lady on the phone said they didn't have stickers but that they could do it by hand. so i booked an appointment. i hit there and nobody could do the letters which was fine, and the guy doing my nails offered to take $20 off. but when i left i just noticed my nails weren't filed properly and one of my nails already almost completely peeled off, which shouldn't happen considering i got them done on monday which was 4 days ago. usually they'll last me a whole month without peeling until i get them redone at my usual salon. overall just kind of disappointed with the quality even though they were nice. my friend came with me and also got a manicure which he payed full price for, and it's not worth it at all in my opinion since his nails are kind of peeling around the edges too and she left a large bubble in one of the nails read more

I've been going to another nail salon in the area, but the techs I liked have all left, and the quality has gone downhill, so I was looking for some place new. I took a chance on In Style Nails based entirely on the reviews on this site (and the convenient location for me to get my nails done during lunch). I walked in (no appointment), and was immediately greeted. As soon as I picked my colors, Sam was ready for me to start my pedicure. He took his time, gave me the longest massage I think I've ever had during a pedi (bonus!), and did a really nice job. I am really particular about my nails - I like the paint to go all the way to the edges of my nails (can't stand when they leave a bunch of space), but of course getting paint anywhere besides the nail is no good. Sam did a great job of covering as much of the nail as possible without any messes "outside the lines". Also, he applied the polish nice and smooth and straight (no lumps or jagged edges - yay). I also got a shellac mani. Normally I do french, but for fun I requested a diagonal two-tone paint job. He painted the design by hand, and he didn't even need his brush to touch up the lines - it was spot on, exactly what I wanted. The building looks like they have some remodel work going on, so it is very slightly disheveled, but that doesn't bother me in the least bit if the service is good, which it was. And as an added bonus, everyone there seemed to speak a decent amount of English, which is nice - I don't have any problem with foreigners, but it can be a little frustrating when you feel like you can't communicate what you want to the person doing your nails. Overall, great job, great service - I am so happy to have found a new place to go - I'll be back in two weeks for another fun mani design experiment! read more

We scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago and asked for the best 2 employees available, and of course my friend got Tony who's our favorite, and I was assisted by someone I didn't recognize. She didn't even know the name of the gel brand I exclusively use (Tammy Taylor). After one week my mani has completely crumbled from the cuticle and has only gotten worse. I'm so bummed. read more

The salon is clean, comfortable and atmosphere is fun and friendly. I've never had a bad mani or pedi here. I've also had my brows waxed before and they nailed that too. Shellac manicures are done to perfection and last forever! Girlfriends and I have reserved space for up to 10 girls at a time and they let us bring in finger foods/snacks and champagne/wine for bachelorette parties, bridal showers, weddings, etc. Everyone is always well cared for and treated like a regular. Disappointed. Came here after seeing all these great reviews. The first time I got an awesome shellac manicure that lasted three weeks no chips. But the second time I went was awful. Went on Sunday night and got a shellac manicure again. Two days later had two chipped and lifted nails so came back to have them fixed, no problem. But then two days later and the same nail is again coming off and a couple others are lifting on the side as well. Not sure what was different between the two manicures but I'm sad. read more

With family in town, we decided to get pedicures. So I did what any other person would do and went on yelp to get feedback on a great pedicure. This place has almost 5 stars and 128 reviews. After my experience today I would not give it close to that, I was treated by a little boy telling us to pick out colors ( which was cute ) then waited for our seats ( we made a appointment prior ). We decided to upgrade to the spa pedi because we were told it was more massages and more mask .... Only for her response to be "are you getting a manicure? Because I have a client after you." I told her "no but do you have time For a spa"she responded yes. Well... I was in my seat and done with in 20 minutes only to have to stop the women and let her know and ask her if she would actually file and clean up around my toes ( what you come for a pedi for ) she reply's "oh yea " and then did one thing and started painting. It's a huge disappointment finding a location that shows great reviews and not getting anything near what you asked or assume you will endure. The girl doing my pedicure said the price was $45.00 for a pedicure (as soon as I sat down). I said I cannot afford that right now, she said than the price is $35.00, for less of a pedicure. I said is the least expensive pedicure you have available...She said I can do $25.00 but, it is just a polish and not much else. I said can you take the skin off the bottom of my feet, she said not for $25.00. I proceeded with the pedicure, but should have left. I have had pedicures all over Lone Tree for $20.00/$25.00 and it was an hour long pedicure. My pedicure at "in Style" was 25 minutes and I had to go home and scrap the bottom of my feet.....VERY DISAPPOINTED! Will never return. read more

This place was recommended to me, so I went for the first time last week. The lady never said one word to me during the pedicure I received. I felt like she rather be somewhere else while doing the process and my leg massage, the real reason I love pedicures, was major lacking. She seems bored and never ask if I wanted my nails short, so she didn't even cut/trim them much. On top of that, she didn't put my flip flops on prior to the polish, so we had to figure out how to get them on after the fact. Best Nail Salon in Town! I have been going here every 2 weeks for the last 5 years! I see Sylvia and Ken. I own a hair salon and I can see a clean and sterile salon from far away, and THIS nail salon has always been VERY clean and sterile. They greet guests by their first names and are always accommodating! My nails don't chip for weeks with my shellac and neither does my shellac pedicure . As for the cost, I feel if you want great service and wonderful looking nails , you need to pay for them. I choose Quality nails over half done jobs around the corner for a lesser price. And I will make the 20 minute commute and pass all the other nails salon closer to my house for this salon! I will continue to go to this salon for years to come!:) read more

The staff is so warm and friendly and NOT pushy. On our first trip, the shop was expanding and renovating, we can't wait to see the "new" bigger shop! I just moved here from California and tried In Style Nail Salon based on Yelp reviews and Myst say that it is, without a doubt, the friendliest, most efficiently run nail salon I have ever been to.. Hang was my manicurist and explained in detail all choices available to me as well as prices. I decided to try the shellac nails and am 100% impressed and convinced that this is a top quality product. Gel nails never worked for me because I'm very hard on my nails but these look more natural than gel or acrylic nails and are extremely strong. Never a disappointment here. Very reasonably priced, such a friendly place...they never forget a face. Every employee speaks very good English and rarely speak in their native language when with a customer (this is often an issue for many, as it makes customers feel as though they are speaking about them when going back and forth between languages) very clean establishment and I have never had a tech do anything except an exceptional job.
