We stayed at this hotel, Hilton LXR Ka La'i Waikiki (formerly Trump Hotel), and wanted to check out this restaurant to use our daily $50 food and beverage credit for having a status with Hilton. Anyhoo, we knew the prices will be higher than the outside food vendors and that is to be expected at any restaurants based within a hotel. We still wanted to try their breakfast as the outdoorsy atmosphere was very pleasant. You can either opt in to get the full breakfast buffet but that was about $50 per person. We chose to order a la carte and ordered breakfast omelette and mochi pancakes. Service was friendly but slightly delayed as we were mixed in with the buffet customers. But they were very professional and friendly nonetheless. Mochi pancakes were pretty spectacular, I must say. It had a slightly chewy texture, truly mochi-like, and the combination of the Japanese influence with the American pancakes was very well done. The fruits on top of the pancakes were very fresh and the whole dish was very tasty. I want to go back just for these mochi pancakes. Omelette was also very good and the toasts were heavenly. Now, would I be willing to pay full price for this breakfast? 4 stars out of 5 is my answer.

Shucks didn't read Yelp good enough! Check in for 15% off on your bill totally missed this. Just went to get a little side thing for the baby so got the scrambled eggs bacon and potatoes for take out and we had to wait 15 min for it and then was charged 18% gratuity for take out :/ Also the breakfast potatoes had rosemary very strong seasoning flavor for a child's breakfast. Should've checked in to save on that gratuity!

Have a memorable breakfast experience at In- Yo Cafe the open-air restaurant with stunning ocean and city views. The chefs prepare savory egg dishes, served alongside fruits and pastries. Order your favorite coffee or sample a variety of fresh local juices. In-Yo Cafe allows for you to enjoy family-style and made-to-order options. I went with the made to order three egg omelet, which included toast and breakfast potatoes for $23. Looking forward to trying the 'Ohana Breakfast Buffet next visit!

Check in on YELP and get 15% off, not that's going to help you at all when you get the bill...(insert maniacal laughter here). Just make sure you check your bill because the server forgot to give us the discount, NOT that it helped...(insert maniacal laughter here). We skipped the breakfast buffet because we took a "pre-buffet tour" and looked at all the foods, and it was $40 for cold items only. Not a deal by any chance. The food was just OK, wasn't spectacular or memorable, just was OK. The only cute things that I really liked were the small jars of individual jams, jellies and honey that I put in my bag...(insert maniacal laughter here). Of course, I did ask the server if it was free and he said yes. I will take all the free things I can get because spending a $126.00 here for a breakfast of 5-persons was hurtful, and the $50 a day credit you get as a Kama'aina for the Trump International didn't take the sting away. The next morning, we walked over to Duke's Waikiki for the all-you-can-eat-breakfast buffet for $23.50 a person. RETURN FACTOR: $30 for five cups of coffee. NO if I was paying. YES if you were paying.

We were not sure what to expect for breakfast given the mixed reviews, but I'm happy to report that they are now back to serving a full breakfast buffet! Apparently they recently made the change because when I called the restaurant about a month ago, they still had the ohana option. It was absolutely fabulous and we were very impressed. Everything was so well done with the finest selections of hot foods especially. There is a whole array of different choices. Cost was $40 and don't forget to check in on Yelp for a 15% discount. Pls note they add a mandatory tip of 18% to all checks.

Came here around 7:30am, and surprisingly had to wait about 15 mins for a table. We got the Ohana breakfast, which includes yogurt, assorted pastries, fruit, potatoes, breakfast meats, and a choice of an entree. Service was ok here - took a long time overall, and they forgot about the potatoes/meats until we asked them. The side items were all solid and nicely presented. I got the salmon benedict, which was bomb! Definitely 5/5 for this dish! Everything was perfection about the benedict. The egg was perfectly runny. The toast tasted like it had some butter on it. The dish was nicely salted, and the arugula added a nice pop of flavor. The salmon was delicious. I checked into Yelp after leaving the restaurant and sadly missed out on the 15% off deal, so definitely check in to Yelp to take advantage of the deal (if the restaurant honors it).

Conveniently located in the Trump hotel right below the pool so the parking is free and it's valet. The eggs Benedict was scrumptious and a perfect portion. The three egg omelet came with ALL the fixings, they didn't make you chose only a specific amount of meat or veggies and add everything at additional costs. The buffet was kinda pricey for a breakfast buffet but it was still yummy. service was great too. Very attentive. Would go back again!

The selection of food for the breakfast continental buffet is really great. From overnight oats to a variety of fruits to smoked salmon and prosciutto, everything is always very fresh and delicious. The sweet papaya, smoked salmon, and zucchini bread were definitely the highlights of my breakfast every morning! While the coffee is pretty mediocre, the food and other beverages they offer here are perfect for a good meal to start your day.

The best part of this place was the PEOPLE- they wait staff were unbelievably friendly, kind, wonderful to talk to. They had all been with the hotel for multiple years- showing their commitment to the place. They never had a tone, were never rude, but always willing to chat, were so so friendly and kind. The food was good, not over the top amazing, but definitely good. The frittata was a bit dry, but still very tasty. They had a ton of options for different types of eaters: egg white, beef, fruit, oatmeal, etc. so you can bring any type of eater and they can find something on the menu. The seating area, table and outdoor area was very nice, very pleasant place to eat. The chairs and tables were perfect for a mid-morning breakfast / brunch. Nice and big and sturdy wood. If you're staying at the trump hotel- definitely go for a morning bite!

Convenient if you stay at the hotel. We had breakfast here 3 days in a row as it was so convenient and we had a hungry 8 year old with us. Food is just normal breakfast stuff, coffee was good, staff are consistently friendly.

Excellent service! From when we first sat down until the end. Our server Roxanne was very attentive and so kind. She assured that we had no problems with the food and always checked to see if we needed anything. The food was delicious. We got the ohana buffet and it came with yummy pastries, drinks, meats and fruits and I also got the eggs Benedict with a side of hollandaise so good!

These stick donuts were so yummy!

Our party of 10 was made up of 5 adults, 3 kids, and 2 crying babies which didn't make for the most relaxing breakfast buffet. But being situated outdoors, in the beautiful Trump International Hotel, we managed to enjoy a delicious breakfast. The buffet spread includes pastries and some of the best stick donuts in town, as well as a made to order omelet station. Yogurt, fresh fruits, waffles, miso soup, somen, and standard items like scrambled eggs and bacon are also on all you can eat status. You can also order items if they are not on the line that day like French toast, pancakes, breakfast meats, and oatmeal from your server. The kids loved ordering smoothies that were included in the buffet price. What really stood out to me was the service. Our servers were amazing and always on point. It made our experience outstanding. Adults are $33 and children 6 and over are $17. The breakfast buffet is served daily from 6:30-10:30am.

If you're going to go to eat anywhere in Honolulu this is the place…read more I can't tell you how fucking amazing this place is. Every single item on the food and drink menu is crafted with such robust flavor with so much dimension in each bite. The drink menu is unique, I had a cocktail I can't remember the name of it but it had plum something and was created by one of the servers there. So cool to see employees own work on the menu, he shared with us how hard and long he worked on the craft cocktail to make it perfect. Now this is a bartender! Would definitely recommend making a reservation, unless it's just you and maybe one other than the bar is mostly open seating I think. I got lucky and walked in on a Sunday night and there happened to be two open seats at the bar which i hear is unheard of due to the popularity that is this restaurant. It's a cute restaurant and is definitely a well oiled machine

I came here 2 weeks in a row so this is the review for both times. The first time I came by I went…read morewith my coworkers for my graduation lunch. They were very busy but thankfully we had a reservation. We started with the Fete Spread as the appetizer, the spreads are delicious, I like the green one the most, its nutty and slightly earthy The red one is tomatoey n sharper and the white one is creamy and sweet. This app also comes with refillable toast, which we definitely made sure to get another serving of. Then I was going to get the Korean steak as my entrée, however my coworker got it and I wanted to try something different and new so I went with the beef pot pie per the waitress' recommendation. However, I really wasn't that good in my opinion. I felt like the bourbon in the pie filling made it taste off and unappealing to me. Then I got dessert because why not. We got a lilikoi cheesecake from the Millie Fete bakery. I did not like the cheesecake very much as well. The chocolate mousse on top was good, thw cheesecake itself was good as well. However, the crust also had alcohol infused in it, which made it taste off and bitter to me. I even asked my coworkers to taste it and they agreed. We also got a scoop of kulolo ice cream. I didn't realize it was going to ALSO be infused in alc, I think it was rum, so again, the ice cream tasted slightly off to me. Kulolo is already perfect why mess with it... Also my OTHER frustration was that it took an OBSCENE amount of time for the cheesecake and ice cream. Logically, the cheesecake would just need to be plated and the ice cream just scooped. However it took 15-20 minutes for us to get the dessert which is ridiculous in my opinion. THE SECOND TIME I came, it was a slightly better experience. We had the spread and toast appetizer like previously and it was good again. WE also got the quinoa cakes and it was super flavorful and crunchy on the outside. I got the Korean steak this time around because I must try it. It was good, the scallion rice was good, flavorful. The steak was okay, it tasted good but I think it was a bad cut/quality of steak (they said it was ribeye?), but there were a lot of the silverskin/gristle (connective issue that can't be bitten through). Made the overall steak experience very unpleasant. I'm not sure HOW much I'd want to revisit as they have some pretty good dishes but some others are a little worse quality. Plus because of how busy they can get, the service might be a bit lackluster and even frustrating.

She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. Great dinner...but if anyone is listening...bring back the shrimp and grits!!!

The batter was light and crispy with great flavors and had a yummy sauce drizzled on top. It also came with a scoop of rice, buttered corn, and Mac salad. Mac salad was delicious! Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! I would come back to just order that! The top filling tasted like a thick creamy brown butter green tea-flavored icing. The filling inside doesn't taste like brown butter and less thick but still really good. Overall, they had really good food and items from the bakery. Highly recommend the infamous green tea cream and chicken karaage dish! Customer service was quick and professional though I felt like our server wasn't that friendly lol.
