No reservations so make sure you get here when they open because there will be a line and a wait! Beautiful walking area while you wait, plenty of parking. We had a party of 13 and since we were here early only had to wait about 10 minutes. Started off with bread with guava butter and man never had anything like it! I ordered the outside double up and it was the same size as my son's head! Grilled salmon was a hit! Love this place and the view was beautiful!

We arrived early, but this spot is very busy and for good reasons. The wait was at least an hour so we strolled through their beautiful botanical garden for a while. We finally got a bar table and got attentive service. The drinks were delicious and the kiddos ate off of the bar menu. They loved the wings and chicken sandwich. Finally after we got seated the adults got fancy food that tasted great and plenty of attention in their indoor/ outdoor seating area. Definitely would go back for more!

We stopped in for date night in Kaneohe, and it was an awesome experience. The steamed fish was genuinely good, probably the best I've had our entire trip. The house salad and fried calamari also did not disappoint. The guava-jitos were unique-- I'd definitely get it again. There was so much food! The service was very friendly, and the view was lovely. Overall, a very memorable experience. Will be back!

Came here about 10 minutes after they opened and there was a 1 hour wait already, we did drinks at the tables up front and the hour wait was exactly the 1 hour like they said. Food was really good but nothing you can't find anywhere else and the views depending on where you sit may or may not add to the overall experience. Service was not great here. In fact we put the same drink order in 3 separate time with our waiter only to never bring them u til half way through dinner. Took us approximately an hour to get the check after our meals and quite frankly was not worth the drive over overall

The service was standout, I feel bad that I do not remember her name as she went above and beyond in her service. We went for dinner after Kualoa Ranch, on our way back to Honolulu. They do have a large parking lot. They don't do reservations. But this is less of a problem here then other places. We were not lucky with the weather, if it was good, the ground are beautiful gardens. They do have one of the best waiting areas I've ever seen, as well as a bar area, to wait in, so you are not hovering over others as they eat. You can also order drinks and apps in the area. Their mango margarita was standout, "it tastes just like a mango!" The restaurant appears to be arranged so that most tables have some of a view of their open patio. Even with the rain, it was lovely, and they lit touches as it grew dark. The menu is the right size, I think a more focused menu lends to better food. We had difficulty deciding as everything sounded great. We started with their poke, very good, and nicely presented. I had the grilled fish, which was great, and my friends had two very different steaks. One got the prime rib, and it was on theme for our dinosaur tour at the ranch. It arrived as big as her head, all three of us could have enjoyed it. Great experience and I hope to return without the side of rain.

Dessert: Nice way to complete the evening & meal!

Update: Love going to eat & visit at Haleiwa Joe's. Service is always great & the views are beautiful& the food is so delicious. This Sunday evening we got in line @ 3:15 pm & made the first seating, parking was easy. Mike our server was on his game, so professional& pleasant. Prime rib was huge & so delicious, dessert was a great closer. A wonderful dinner. Can't wait to go again!

Excellent evening, food drinks and the ambiance was extraordinary. The wait was a little under 2 hrs but worth the wait. Wiped our plates clean!

This restaurant is 100% EVERYTHING it is hyped up to be. The exquisite views, delicious food, amazing craft cocktails and superb service. We arrived approximately one hour prior to opening as they do not take reservations. We were first in line, many followed within 30 minutes. Come hungry, it's a significant amount of food. ~ what we ordered: ** Prime Rib- almost 3lbs of meat. Juicy and delicious. **Grilled fish of the day- today was a striped marlin....bursting with flavor! ** Crispy Brussel Sprouts- best I have ever had! Must order! ** Escargot in pesto with a Parmesan crust, served with warm fresh bread. From the amazing views (come early to get a balcony seat) to the flavorful food, and superb service.... This is it! This is all the feels of the Hawaiian Island.

Weekends are busy and no reservations are taken. First come first served. We got there at 2:30 and there were people already standing in line. We had a wonderful server. As busy as it was and warm as it felt. She was amazing! Friendly and so pleasant. I wish they had rib eye. Appetizers were good.

My family loves this place, has for a LONG time. Came for Father's Day, we put our name down and they gave an eta of 1hr 45min. Left and came back around 30-40 min later. Checked and they said another 1hr 45min. Then added another 30 min, then another. Total time waited was about 2 hrs 30min. Understandable that it's so busy especially on holidays, but to not have a decently accurate ETA wasn't looking too good. Finally got sat, and the wine cups and silverware were dirty... Food did time some time to come, but again, it's a holiday so to be expected. Server was kind and accommodating, really nice woman. Prime rib was HUGE, but the bone was also a decent chunk of it, not too bad though. New York steak was very dry. Ordered one medium and one half of the steak was medium well-well done, the other side was cooked to med-rare but somehow the whole steak was VERY dry. Would not recommend. The other New York steak was cooked fine. Caesar salad did have some pieces of old/dirty lettuce, but a good size for a big family. The ribs were decent, sweet. Parking is a toss up, gotta get there early or get lucky. Else it's street parking.

Great food, was not too expensive either. The entrees are a little more but they are also well portioned. Awesome view, and right next to a nice town and great beaches. I got the half ceaser salad and garlic aoili potato wedges, so delicious. The coconut fried shrimp appetizer was pretty good as well.

Service was great! Our server was professional in memorizing the menu, punctual in refilling our water and all around happy to be serving us. This is NOT my first time, but it was mh first time in a while and the Prime Rib was definitely just as good as I remember if not better! Even their Brussels sprouts appetizer was really good! Their mocktails are okay... it's simple and tastes exactly how you'd expect it to taste. Which could be good and bad. Good because you got what you asked for, but bad because it's not exciting! One and done for any mock tails I'd say! Finally, for dessert we had a lilikoi crème brûlée and it was delicious! Not too sweet, it was the perfect choice to end the night. A nice cool dessert on a hot day! The view is beautiful as usual and everyone in matching prints always adds a nice touch to the ambiance of the restaurant. Would recommend to those coming to Hawaii and even those that live here that haven't tried it! We'll be back for sure!

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who finds themselves in Haleiwa on the island of Oaho. Be forewarned, they do not take reservations. The view is unmatched. The food is fantastic, as is the service. The drink prices are reasonable and the cocktails are creatively crafted. The food menu selections are excellent and as with the drinks, reasonably priced. It is not easy to get to from Waikiki, but well worth the trip.

Absolutely blown away…read more This place was recommended to my partner and I by multiple people so we put in the reservation. Upon arrival, we were asked for a password (which he could not find in his emails hot fortunately they gave us grace lol) then let in. The place was simply lit and each table had a literal gas lamp lighting the space. On the second floor there was a man playing the sax. It was SO gorgeous, Our waitress was great, we were easily influenced by all her suggestions and ended up getting a great meal. We started with drinks. My partner didn't hear her say that the bottom of the menu was "spirit forward" and ordered a VERY strong drink. It actually made for a very giggly and eventful dinner so it was a very happy mistake lol. I got the espresso martini. It was a little creamier than I expected but still tasted really good! I'd order again. Our first appetizer was the Wagyu carpaccio- topped with cilantro (the menu said dill but I saw/ tasted none), fried capers, and caviar. It was surprisingly light and refreshing, basically a meat salad. A beautiful start to our meal. Our second (yes, second) appetizer was the escargot and bone marrow. This was our personal star of the show. A complete 180 to the carpaccio. This was rich, heavy, and decadent. The tomato added a nice balance of acidity to counteract the fatty bone marrow. The escargot was cooked perfectly, no chew but soft and buttery. One of the best bites of my life. The salad it came with was just we needed with it. After this, there was quite a wait until our main entree. A fire dancer came, and danced on the bar counter. I'd say we waited a good 20 minutes until it came out. But we were only impatient because we had plans after dinner. Our main course, which we shared, was the King Arthur- beef Wellington with a side of crab legs. The crab did come out during our appetizers which I appreciated. I only ordered this because I never had beef Wellington before and really wanted to try it LOL, my partner said it was better than the one at hella kitchen! The waitress also talked us into ordering a side of Mac and cheese, and thank GOD she did. It came out piping hot and saucy. There was a slight note of truffle, but it wasn't overpowering, and a nice crust of cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Everything was delicious and generously portioned. You definitely get a bang for your buck. It's a hefty buck but it's so worth it.

Firstly, the vibes are IMMACULATE. 20/10…read more Wild Orange is a speakeasy hidden behind an old-school Aloha Maid vending machine. Apparently you're normally supposed to put a coin in to open the secret door, but it's broken right now, so the whole vending machine just swings right open. Slightly less secret, but still very cool. Inside is where this place really shines. Moody lighting, a giant orange tree in the middle of the room, Japanese hip hop playing in the background (I want to steal this entire playlist), and extremely cool and friendly servers and bartenders. I've been to a few other attempted "speakeasies" in Honolulu, but most are basically just dark bars with a fun door or code word. Wild Orange actually has the VIBES to make the whole concept work. Definitely worth coming just to hang out and chill. They have a full bar and an extensive specialty cocktail menu. Tried the Purple Dragon, made with ube liqueur and coconut cream. Very sweet--a little TOO sweet for my taste--but tasty and pretty. Probably should have listened to the menu and kept it as a shot, but I wanted something I could sip on for a while and chill. The Umeshu Highball was also very pretty and tasty. My friend who works as a sake distributor was impressed with their selection of good sake, so of course we had to order a bottle. Our server brought it out in an ice bucket, kept it off to the side, and completely served it for us throughout. Very classy. The food menu is fun and creative, but unfortunately not really for me because it's entirely vegan. Most times, but ESPECIALLY when I'm drinking, I want MEAT. Tried the Wild Musubi, a vegan Spam musubi. I'm not actually sure what the "meat" was. Possibly fried tofu? Whatever it was, it was definitely a passable alternative, but would have been 100x better if it were just plain old Spam. It also falls victim to what I find is a common problem with vegan attempts at Japanese food: anything teriyaki ends up being way too treacly sweet without actual meat or seafood to ground it in reality. Also tried the Char Siu Tofu Bao, fried tofu in a red Chinese-style char siu sauce on fluffy white buns. Again, fun and certainly not bad, but these would be 1000x better with actual pork. If Wild Orange had this exact same creative food menu but carnivore edition, this place would probably be 7/5 stars for me. That being said, I know being vegan will actually be a huge draw for some people, and I appreciate that the food is creative rather than just the usual sad vegan afterthoughts. Parking is pretty easy by Honolulu standards. It's inside Hawaiian Brian's, so there's a large shared parking lot. That being said, you might still have trouble finding a spot during peak gym hours since you're competing with all the 24 Hour Fitness customers. All in all, I LOVE this place. Definitely a fun stop--first, middle, only, or nightcap--on a chill night out. Will absolutely be adding Wild Orange into the rotation of places to bring out-of-town guests when I want to impress them with something cool and different. The vegan menu probably means it'll be a couple-times-a-year place for me rather than a regular haunt. But for drinks, service, atmosphere, and pure VIBES? 20/10.

While they do have a parking, I suggest just parking on the street and walking up to the place. Signs clearly direct you to which window you can order food from and another for food pickup/dessert only ordering. We opted for combo plate (kalua pork and chicken long rice) w/ a side of poi. Both the kalua pork and chicken long rice were tasty but wished we had ordered rice instead so that i could mop up the delicious fat from the kalua pork! Loved the haupia pudding but wished they would give you a bit more. For dessert we ordered the tahitian sweet lady which was delicious! Wasn't a fan of the salmon lomi as it was pretty fishy for me. As we waited for our food, we noticed a dessert chilling on the ledge and joked with my wife that it was likely ours. Sure enough after 10 mins, the ice cream guy asked the cashier whose it was and at that time was our number called. Sadly, the ice cream had already started to melt. Wished they wouldn't have prepared the dessert until after our food was ready. Would definitely head back for their plate lunches and to try the sweet lady of waiahole dessert.
