We stopped by the clubhouse after a round of golf. My son loves to stop by Bird of paradise. Our server provided awesome customer service. We were surprised since we normally see him behind the bar. We got the following items and split both between us Saimin Teriyaki pork sandwich And a fish and chips

Hubs wanted crab legs, I do not know how to cook it so decided on the buffet at Prince Golf Club in Ewa Beach which is closer to where we stay in KoOlina. Got lost in Ewa Beach so was late 45min. for 10am seating. Hostess was so nice about it and we were so relieved! Almost full house when we sat down--only an hour left before 12:30 seating! Those snow crab legs look Divine just a lil skinny:-) We each had 2 plates. The slow cooked prime rib roast is melt in your mouth tender also has beefy flavour...quite pleased. I also had the ginger scallion fish filet which was tasty not overcooked. Attentive wait staff, filled our coffee 3X even chatted with us, thought we were locals. There were a lot of big family gatherings and the children are all well behaved no running around! Buffet items constantly refilled even the crab legs. We did not try anything else so full already. $69 pp It's alright in Hawaii but no comparison to some of the Vegas buffets which offer fatter crab legs, lobster tails etc.

Today for brunch my sister and brother in law made reservations to take my wife and I for a belated birthday celebration. Where? Bird of Paradise brunch Sunday only . There's breakfast items to choose from along with , Dim sum, crab legs , prime rib and made to order omelet station . Services were on point they came around often to remove empty plates also refilling our water . Price is excellent they also offer a senior discount which I'm not quite there yet lol ! Quality of food was alright average nothing to rave about . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Scenery was gorgeous over looking the fairways of the Hawaii Prince golf course with palms trees swaying in the back ground . Typical your Hawaii scenery and weather .[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My favorite was eggs Benedict and all the dessert . The poke was ok previously frozen of course not fresh . Every time I passed the prime rib station it was always crowded so I cannot tell you how it was . Support local

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stunning representation...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As the plant does blossom a vibrant flowers so does what the Hawaii Prince have at their West side Golf Course in Ewa Beach as the drive takes you to a lovely and chill vibe that I just didn't expect and know why many come here to celebrate or just have a wonderful brunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thank you Nadine C for making the reservations and suggestion as it's such a relaxing place to take it all in as the restaurant does give a plantation vibe with very open concept with french doors surrounding the dining room that takes in all the breeze from the open air of the golf course which wasn't hot though wasn't cool either so coming in early is very suggested.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff that seats you is very polite and explains where you can find all the available items throughout as the hot food are kept inside including ribs and crab legs with a dessert bar and outside has the cold foods and side items like poke, salad, fresh fruits, dim sum, saimin and drinks but at the far end of the lanai is the omelette station and prime rib which was just phenomenal my favorite of all...done perfectly and didn't need any au jus and what a feast after multiple plates I was in a very happy place. Go for the drive and enjoy the vibe but stay for the comforting food and friendly service making it a great place for whatever your mood. Thank you!

This might be the best crab leg and prime rib buffet on O'ahu, Hawaii... Bird of Paradise is located on the grounds of the Hawaii Prince Golf Course in Ewa Beach... the west side of the island... relatively far from Waikiki in Honolulu. Service was excellent! All staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful! Our server was really observant when he said, "Auntie... dessert already?!?!?" It was my second plate because the line for the hot entrées was quite long. I had walked all the way around to scout out the Poke/fruit/cold foods station, the omelet bar/prime rib table, and dessert corner. Our seats were right next to the pan of crab legs... we saw each time the new batch arrived! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm glad we were seated inside... closer to the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were many tables along the patio for outdoor dining, but there might be more flies out there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They did have some propellers on the serving tables to chase pests away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's an open-door venue with a nice cross-breeze.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had made a reservation online via Open Table. The follow up was good - confirmation and a reminder. For the price (we even paid the lower Senior amount), it's worth the drive. The prime rib was so tender and moist... and the crab wasn't too salty. I was able to crack a few legs in half and enjoy the meat sliding out from the shell! Tip: bring gloves to avoid fishy smelling hands. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restrooms are outside - share with the golfers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Enjoy the free parking and beautiful scenery![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My wife and I took Craig T and his wife to Bird of Paradise to celebrate his birthday . Let me say that the service provided was excellent. Arrived a few minutes before the buffet opened. My wife was able to check in our party . [[HIGHLIGHT]]When the buffet opened we were seatted in the middle of the restaurant. We were close to the main buffet line, yet had a view of the golf course[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Friendly and efficient service throughout My first trip to the buffet I picked up scallop potatoes, bacon, eggs Benedict and snow crab. The eggs Benedict was to my liking. The Benedict sauce wasn't overly flavored with lemon. All the bacon on the buffet was cooked crisp. No choice there. Scalloped potatoes was done perfect. The crab portions was another dish done right. I picked up some Poke. You had a choice of two , ahi or clams. Both were good . For dessert I just had a scoop of bread pudding. Well I didn't make it to the to the carving or the omelet station . I filled up on the crab Note they give a senior discount Enjoy

This review is for the Sunday brunch buffet at the Bird of Paradise Restaurant, HI Prince Golf Course. Nestled in the gorgeous HI Prince Golf Course in Ewa Beach, the Bird of Paradise Restaurant offers an AYCE Sunday brunch buffet that is popular for its prime rib and snow crab. It offers a wide array of Hawaiian, American, and local dishes. The golf course is owned by the HI Prince in Waikiki, so both the Bird of Paradise (golf club) and 100 Sails (hotel restaurant) are similar in their offerings; however, there are more food offerings at the Bird of Paradise and is less expensive than 100 Sales. The buffet cost is $69 adult, $59 seniors (60+), and $34.50 kids (6-12 years old). We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary for 30 to 40 family members. We wanted good food and accommodations for an audio-visual photo display, table games, and interactive conversations among attendees. Yes, AYCE crab legs for crab lovers, savory prime rib, and lots of different foods enticed us! But because there are no walls, no audio-visual display could be done, and decorations were limited to the tables only. There would not be any privacy, as other diners and celebrations would simultaneously be going on. Yes, it would be noisy. Planning staff tried to be accommodating: * We would be placed in the inside corner of the dining room to have more privacy. Still, as part of a large dining room, it is loud and noisy. But there are no walls for a video display. * We would take the 12:30p seating. As the buffet would close at 2p, we could stay until about 4p and have our program. By then, most diners would have left, unless they also had celebrations with programs. Staff would be cleaning up and prepping for dinner. * This would have been "bigger bang for the buck," as we would have full access to the buffet and need not comply with the numerous catering requirements, e.g., non-refundable of deposit and other fees when changes are made. Each of our 30 - 40 people would be charged the same amount as all other diners. This buffet is able to accommodate large groups. After much thought, we decided to cancel our reservation and sought another location with a private room. Now, this is not to say that this brunch buffet is unsatisfactory, but its wide selection of high- quality dishes makes this buffet a very popular one among diners, especially those who are celebrating a special occasion and need not have a formal program. While I did not experience the food having a "wow" factor or being exceptional, they were adequate in having something for everyone. The dishes include: * Snow crab legs. For crab lovers, AYCE! * Prime rib. For meat lovers, cut to order with au jus and creamy horseradish. * Breakfast items: bacon, link sausage, Portuguese sausage, taro pancakes, eggs benedict, breakfast pastries. * Lunch items: fish, guava ribs, pancit, dim sum, vegetable medley, potatoes au gratin, steamed rice. * Omelette station. Includes mushroom, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, green onions, bay shrimp, ham, Portuguese sausage, bacon, cheddar cheese. * For the kids. Saimin station with green onions, bean sprouts, eggs, char siu, kamaboko. * Desserts. Bread pudding, choc macadamia nut pie, chef's selections. There is a scoop of ube ice cream with a candle for the birthday person with staff leading diners to sing happy birthday (request beforehand). * Cold items. Chilled juices, fresh fruits, salads, poke. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food items are placed in two different locations: the hot foods and desserts in the main dining room; and the cold items, omelette station and prime rib in the rear outside lanai. This prevents long lines from occurring if the food items are in one location[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The large dining room can accommodate 158 diners. It is clean, bright, and architecturally pleasing with natural trade winds with Hawaiian style shuttered window door panels. The golf course can easily be seen from indoors. There is also outdoor seating alongside the patio perimeter with a direct view of the scenic golf course. Good for large groups celebrating a special occasion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is friendly and accommodating, with drinks refilled and used plates cleared promptly. The AYCE brunch buffet is held on Sundays only with two separate seatings, at 10a and 12:30p. Dining is casual. Reservations are recommended to ensure availability for large groups, with tables pre-assigned. While there is free parking at the golf course, space may be limited due to golfers already on the golf course. Have your driver drop off passengers at the entrance of the dining room and then look for parking. Since we live in town, this is a nice drive along the West side of Oahu and in anticipation of good eats in a casual setting! You can't go wrong with AYCE crab legs!

Such an underrated brunch buffet spot that's not talked about enough! Located at Hawaii Prince Golf Club in Ewa Beach, probably one of the better, more affordable AYCE brunch buffets that serve prime rib and snow crab at only $69/person! Coffee and tea are included in the price. I loved that the crab was easy to open. Nice selection of food available. The clam chowder was a winner, especially when we added chunks of crab meat in it. We added on mimosas for $5 each. Making a reservation was easy, however keep in mind that you have to put down credit card information on file. No shows will be charged $25. Upon arriving we were greeted by the cheerful hostess. The staff were all friendly, keeping our drinks full and used plates cleared off the table. We will definitely be returning in the future!

I had this bookmarked for a while because of the reviews, and was finally able to try this restaurant, and I made reservations for the family for Sunday Brunch Buffet because it is the cheapest buffet that serves prime rib and crab legs. Buffets now days cost easy $100+ now, and $69 for adults, and $59 for seniors is a great deal. The snow crab legs were lukewarm, but was pretty good since it wasn't salty. The prime rib was ok, and they serve small pieces, so I asked for 2. The Au jus was a little bland, The hot foods were part breakfast items (e.g. eggs benedict, bacon, sausage, etc.) and lunch items. There was also a ramen station and a salad table that included lomi salmon and poke, as well as cold dimsum, gyoza and fruits. I loved their clam chowder - so creamy and flavorful. Hot coffee and tea are included with the buffet as well as guava juice and fruit punch in another section with the salad station. The desserts were ok. I didn't care for the bread pudding. It wasn't as tasty as other bakeries or buffets, but the macnut chocolate pie was pretty good as well as the lemon dessert. The only problem is that the main hot foods were not covered and while we dined, there were flies we had to shoo away constantly because the restaurant is not enclosed. At least the salad, dim sum area and ramen noodles were covered. Service was excellent. They have a system where different wait staff checked our waters, took away our plates and asked if we needed anything else. Our server was also attentive if we needed anything. Because of the price, prime rib and snow crab legs, I'd eat here again for another special occassion. Lots of parking, but the stalls in front of the entrance were taken, so we had to park at a parking lot a little farther from the entrance.

Large servings! Great people working there. Very accommodating especially with only a few staff. We were a big party roughly around 20+ people. Nice indoor seating. Lots of windows of the golf course.

Came here for the Sunday brunch. Our reservation was at opening, and there must have been about 10 other groups waiting too. When they opened it was nice to see how large the restaurant is and with plenty of seating. Great selection of foods. I went straight to the omelette station before the line got long and right next is the yummy prime rib! the meat was nicely cooked and rendered. The wait help was very attentive and cleared out plates quickly. Definitely returning.

They have AYCE crab and prime rib. It is nice and quiet. The service is attentive. The food is more of a 3 star. But the selection is good. I like coming here since it is so relaxing.

Compliments to Chef Meghan for an exceptional dining experience. I ordered the Japanese breakfast, which featured misoyaki butterfish, steamed rice, tamagoyaki, and an assortment of sides. Every component was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. My guests ordered the French toast with breakfast sides. One of them chose it because it reminded her of the French toast she enjoyed at her wedding, which was held at this very restaurant this past February. First, the actual plates aren't close to the portions pictured in prior reviews. We ordered the Smoked Chicken which was more like "Skimpy" Chicken soaked in vinegar. The Pork Adobo was drenched with "sweet/sour sauce" which left a lasting aftertaste in your mouth. The Pork Ribs were actually the closest to previous pictured plates - tasted like "salt and vinegar" instead of "salt and pepper" - still skimpy (little meat covering huge bone inside)! Their "garlic noodles" had so much garlic that I'm sure that Vampires and Draculas will stay away from me for a week. The rice tasted like "day-old refrigerated" rice which was microwaved. I becomes solid if not eaten immediately. So shame. I can't imagine the other selections are any better so I'll just refrain from returning again. I would not eat this food even if you gave it to me for free. I believe you'll get a bigger bang for your buck by using the BOGO coupon at Loco Moco Kapolei located in the same mall.
