One of the best food stalls here. Pros: + Great for vegetarians + Customizable flavors/options + Large portions of food + Friendly staff + Quick IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

Inchu is located in the TimeOut Market food court in Fenway, and it's a cool spot overall. Lots of seating available outside and inside. I ordered the Japanese donburi bowl with ginger beef, which came out to be close to $17. Not sure if it was worth almost $20, but it did have a nice portion of meat and avocado. It was quite salty though and I felt the ratio of rice/greens and the rest of the toppings were kind of off.

After a lap around Time Out Market, we decided to go with Inchu for lunch. I went for the Korean Bibimbap, and the fam had the Vietnamese Bahn Mi, and Japanese Donburi. What I liked: all the ingredients, especially veggies were vibrant and fresh! Each plate brought a diverse assortment of flavors and textures, and ingredients! Everything was more-or-less in balance, though a little more mean would have been nice. The portion size was great too! Bowls were large, but heavy vegetable focus means that your diet won't feel as cheated. if at all. For improvement, in a word: sauces. The ginger sauce with the beef ended up being a bit overpowering. Combined with the large pieces of kimchi, they combined to form a overload of acid. My suggestions are to slice the kimchi more finely, and serve the ginger sauce (comes with beef) on the side Still, very well done!

I went during a slow hour and food came out fairly fast. They give you a buzzer so you're free to sit anywhere indoors or outdoors which is great if you don't want to be nearby the restaurant hub. I got the Thai Pad Krapow with Ginger Beef and rice. The food itself isn't too bad, it's just lacking something. Possibly some sriracha, more fish sauce or if the Thai chili was chopped so that you can mix it in the bowl more evenly. It is a little sweet because of the peanut sauce and mangoes so that might be why the flavor is a little unbalanced. The portion is decent sized so I was able to take it home and eat it again.

I absolutely love these delicious Asian and poke bowls, which are not limited to raw fish, but also have cooked meats as well. Very fresh, very delicious, and very fast. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Everything in this marketplace is slightly expensive but it is the middle of the city after all. I'd like to stop in here on the way to Red Sox games. Fun ambience

This bowl was an incredible mix of ingredients. Everything was so uniquely flavorful I will probably get this every time I'm in the Time Out Market.

The Japanese Donburi was good. At $12, I wanted a little more meat. It came with ground beef which was no typical of these bowls . The presentation was not bad. Service was fine . Won't get again

There buzzer doesn't work so the food is cold. Taste was not great. Their customer service was also quite bad as well

Flavors are all over the place and too little protein. There are too many random sauces combined in the bowl.

The environment inside time-out market is the best part. The food is Ok but it is really, really salty.

We walked into a…read morespace that buzzes even on weeknight evenings, with a menu spanning Korean fried chicken, sushi, hand rolls, and Japanese comfort food. That combination sounds like it could go sideways, but the kitchen handles the range with enough confidence that the whole thing works. The fried chicken is the anchor of the menu and the reason most people come back. We ordered the soy garlic wings, the most talked about item, and they justified the reputation. They came out freshly fried with a glaze that coated evenly and a crunch that held. The chili basil version is worth ordering alongside if you want some heat, and the classic crispy is the right call for anyone who wants to taste the chicken itself without much interference. The calamari is a strong starter, well fried and light enough that it did not weigh down the rest of the meal before it got going. On the Japanese side of the menu, the kaisen don stood out. The presentation was careful and the fish was fresh in a way that made it feel like a dish the kitchen takes seriously rather than an afterthought. The hand rolls are solid and satisfying, though they lean more reliable than revelatory, making them a good addition to a larger spread rather than the sole reason to visit. For a spot covering this much ground, the consistency impressed us most. People drive over an hour to eat here, and that says something. It earns the trip. We would come back for the soy garlic wings and a bowl of kimchi tofu soup, and we would bring friends who want both Korean fried chicken and fresh sushi under one roof.

The restaurant focuses mostly on soba or udon noodle dishes with a good selection between hot and cold options. It's not going to be the best udon or soba you've ever had. HOWEVER, I tried the cold ikura & uni cold soba and LOVED it. It's seasonal, so I tried that one out and was extremely surprised about how much I enjoyed the bowl. Not too much soup and the uni didn't completely obliterate when I stirred it up. They do use American wasabi though, and I found it superfluous to the dish and wished it was served on the side. But regardless, despite not having some extremely high quality noodles, the flavor and experience of the bowl itself was super pleasant. I ended up coming back the very next day because I wanted to try their clam soba. The clam soba only comes hot, which is a bit unfortunately because I actually think a cold clam soba with some lemon or yuzu would be phenomenol. I've been seeing recipes for it online so I've been wanting to try it, but their clam soba is a lot more standard and hot. They had a very good amount of clams in it, but I generally like their cold soba better. Still good, but didn't give me that feeling of needing to come back the very next day like I did with the ikura-uni combo. Overall, I'd still come back when I'm in downtown!

We ordered the cheese topokki (soft rice cake, fish cake, vegetable, & mozzarella in Korean spicy sauce) & the beef bulgogi bowl (fried marinated beef, vegetables, steamed rice & side of soup). The cheese topokki was just as good as we remembered - chewy, flavorful, comforting, & a little bit weird. The cheese was poorly distributed, but it was still very tasty. The beef bulgogi bowl was really underwhelming. Firstly, it was very little food. We were promised vegetables, but there were only a few scarce onions & zucchini pieces mixed in. It was also dry. It was devoid of moisture & sauce, so we added some from the fridge at home. The side of soup was a joke. It filled only about 2/3 of the container & looked so sad, we wondered if it was the sauce that we we so desperately needed. Nope, just a meager amount of watered down miso soup. So the conclusion - great topokki, sub-par bulgogi, non-existent soup.

For the food, we got the tuna kimbap, Seoul toppoki, and bulgogi hot pot for two. Everything was SO good. The ingredients were fresh and the food was flavorful (sweet from the bulgogi, savory from the mushrooms, spicy from the toppoki sauce, salty from the tuna, and sour from the pickled vegetables). The price for the portion size was a great value and we ended the night feeling very full and even had to pack up an entire container of the hotpot for two that we didn't finish. Overall, we had a great time and I can't wait to come back again. This might be my new favorite Korean food spot in the Boston area.
